“Having a delicious dinner, an excellent view, an excellent atmosphere with very professional service was one of the best experiences I have ever had in this type of restaurant. I highly recommend it, especially because of the explosive flavors of the food, something that you are not normally used to but something that you will love and can become addicted to.“
“It was my first time here celebrating my daughter's birthday It was an Excellent Experience the food was delicious and the service was so friendly and respectful. The atmosphere was very nice I will go back and recommend to my family and friends ? I almost forgot that the Cheff was amazing !!“
“This place used to be the biz. I cannot deny that their food is jammin' but their service and overall attitude have a lot be desired. This was the spot after the world reopened and the outdoor seating made everyone feel a little more COVID safe. I think they started feeling themselves a little too much. After my wife and I had our first couple visits there, it was great. However, subsequent visits went from awful to the absolute worst. They failed to recognize our reservations a couple of times and when they got it wrong, they made us rush to order. I would get their food again but suggest getting it delivered to spare their nonsensical restaurant/business practices. If you want the pulpo, get it there and not for delivery. And for some reason, when you get the saltado delivered, you don't get the egg. I'm assuming it's due to possible foodbourne illness issues. Five stars for food, one star for service/attitude.“
“Hole in the wall with walk-up service and cute patio tables. Get the rotiserrie chicken with aji sauce. Wow. I'm still thinking about it. No regrets other than forgetting to demand the recipe. Their storefront right on Venice Boardwalk is a convenient place to catch some sunshine and people watch.“
“This is a authentic Peruvian friendly and family oriented restaurant in LA. The Loma Saltado doesn’t even need extra salt. It is well seasoned and the flavors are on point. The owner has been in the area for 40 years and people have come to this place for a homie meal.“
“A wonderful place with amazing food, we came here because the kids wanted sushi rolls while the grownups wanted Peruvian food, the selection was amazing the rolls are very creative with a Peruvian flair, we tried the Acivochado roll which by the name you can tell what it is, it was absolutely amazing and the other dishes were also great. Overall great food, fast and friendly service and definitely affordable. Highly recommended.“
“I’m a tow truck driver , I was passing by and saw this place and decided to eat, best decision I made customer service is good and the prices are ridiculously cheap How much is the should I get? How much is for 13 dollars can’t beat that in LA!!“
“This is my second time visiting & the staff is super friendly! My first visit I called day of to get a tres leches cake and everyone loved how it tasted. My second visit I tried more of their pastries & am definitely hooked! A gem of a place and will be visiting more.“
“I was really impressed by the great taste of the food and the quality of service showed by its staff, Peter customer service skills are outstanding by all means)) Kudos to the folks in the kitchen, because their food was delicious!Vegetarian options: Saltado“
“Really nice waiter attended us. We came here because loaded cafe had nobody attending guests. It was a cute little typical hispanic place. Restroom is through the kitchen which is pretty unhygienic but whatever. Fresh ingredients and food was flavorful except for the eggs but overall solid. Pupusas were huge but I didn't try them.“
“We picked up food to go but the inside is nicely decorated and there is a large outdoor patio. There’s a large parking lot as well. The impossible empanadas were so good! They ran out of their spinach & 5 cheese empanadas so I’ll def make a trip back to get that hot ticket item. Their yuca was nicely crisp and the garlic cheese sauce was so tasty. We tried their pescado frito plato as well and the green sauce that came with that was also amazing. The pescado had a nice crispy texture but wasn’t over done. Served with marinated onions, yuca, rice, and rolls. They offer Inca Kola too. I will def be going back and totally recommend this farm to table restaurant. They have produce from their own garden and it’s greatly appreciated to have in their local neighborhood. I wish I took photos of the food but I ate it too quickly hahaVegetarian options: Impossible empanadas, spinach and five cheese empanadas, yuca frita, veg section of menu offers many options.Parking: Large lot in back of restaurantKid-friendliness: Family oriented“
“The best grilled chicken smoked like a barbecue grill in town this is a must try must eatVegetarian options: Other vegetarian options are planting salad rice beansKid-friendliness: Kid friendly fries also plantainsWheelchair accessibility: Double door accessible for wheelchair“
“Been familiar with Chef Celsie for some time. What is so imperative to highlight is the fact that when you have a true fusionist of tasteful delicacies; then you know you are just about to experience culinary heaven in your mouth. That is Chef Celsie, her deep knowledge of so many different kinds of culinary cultures makes her as force to be reckoned in La La Land. So in other words, you truly are in for a real treat!! #simplydelicious“
“This is a great place to dine in or out in the patio. Parking is small but Caveman kitchen usually has parking, ask the security to assist you with that. The menu includes a variety of delicious plates. The service is excellent! Highly recommend you to take your family there.“
“Very good Peruvian food, the service is excellent, very friendly, you feel at home, the bathroom is very clean, in general, everything is excellent. If you are Peruvian and you are looking for a good meal with a Peruvian flavor, this is the place ❤️??“
“First time coming here, food was great! I came on a Monday which was $5 margaritas. I tried one not expecting much, but the drink was amazing! Could not believe it was only $5, very high quality drink. The portion of food was large enough to save and eat for lunch the next day. Overall really good!“
“I ordered the #4 . I haven’t been here since I was a kid . I’m so happy to see the business is still here and thriving. I LOVE the beans . Rice and chicken were delicious . Chicken was juicy. I had the Maracuya beverage . HIGHLY RECOMMEND if you like sweet drinks . I hope to come back soon.“
“We ended up here looking for a coffee, got a drink and spent the next 2 hours trying different items for the menu. Very impressed by the quality. Yucca fries super crunchy and creamy inside. Lovely guacamole, and very fresh shrimps, all with a very nice sangria. We had a lovely time and an unexpected trip to Peru while sitting still. Will be back!“
“The last time it was soooooooGooooooood. The Lomo saltado I'm talking aboutThe grilled chicken was goodBut I remember that lomoThe place is a hole in the wall straight upSo you don't come here for atmosphere but the food This is my second time here...hopefully it's as good as the first“
“Easily one of the top Peruvian, restaurants and chains. I like that chicken soup and the lomo saltado especially. This location is more of a drive-through pick up or delivery and I primarily just order through DoorDash. Certainly one of my go to choices for really good chicken, soup and meat.Vegetarian options: Good options to choose from“
