They take such meticulous care with every sandwich, and everyone there is genuinely caring. I’ve already gone off the freeway twice just to come back and eat there again, and each time it’s been just as wonderful.
I had the Rib Roast the first time, man what a sandwich, good amount of meat that you can taste the flavor, tomato, layered on the entire bread kept it so moiost delicious. Then the Italian, swapping the salami for mortadella (a perfect switch). The sandwich is perfectly moist, tastey, full of flavor, loved it.
Oh, the lettuce, they do an entire side salad with dressing and put it on the sandwich, unreal. I appreciate this place and recommend it to everyone who cares about a great sandwich.“

“I recently tried the Subway Footlong Tuna, and honestly, it was delicious. The bread was fresh and soft, the tuna was perfectly mixed - creamy but not too heavy - and every bite tasted balanced. I added lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, and a little mayo, and it made the whole sandwich even better.
For a quick meal, it felt fresh, filling, and satisfying. If you like tuna sandwiches, this one is definitely worth trying. I would order it again!“

“Owner at the counter is a middle aged man, very friendly which is great if you are looking for conversation while waiting for food. Pies taste great and have a homey feel to them. Prices are very cheap relative to the area. Totally recommend a visit, but don't forget to bring cash.“

“I ordered a London Broil roast beef sandwich on a sourdough roll with havarti cheese and everything on it as well as an order of the pineapple soft serve ice cream. Do yourself a favor and eat here. This place is legit no filler all quality. Oh, and that pineapple soft serve? That *hit slap too.“

“I don't really know what all these people are tripping on.. Lots of Entitlement and Smug attitudes in the Bay Area. People treating retail and food service workers like trash because they are miserable with their own lives.

Ordered a Deli Turkey on Sour Dough roll toasted.. Sandwich was toasted and had perfect amount of spread and ingredients.. It was a very good sandwich , everything tasted fresh.
Little pricey, but that is everything nowadays.. plus, I always try to TIP workers as this type of work is underapreicated.“

“I have used the Berkeley location for a few work events since they have opened and they have been amazing. Not only do they make it an easy process to place orders, but I feel the different catering options are great for all types of meetings and events. Specifically with my most recent meeting, they really helped me out because the online system said my order couldn't be ready at the time I needed it. But when I called to talk to them they were able to accommodate the time frame and my order was ready on time. Really appreciate the help and the food is always a hit! Thanks so much!“

“I was hesitant to come back after I had a bad experience a year ago before they rebranded; which a lot of the older reviews reflect. VERY happy to say that they've improved significantly, I got the five spice chicken with an iced coffee and both are fantastic. Meat tastes great and the bread is perfect. Worth giving them another shot if you started avoiding this place like I did before.

“I love sandwiches and Ikes always hits the spot! Service was spot on and server provided great guidance as to which sandwich would fit me best. It was not very busy, the room was very clean, calming music playing. And I got my sandwich within five minutes or so. I gotta say the price is a little high for a sandwich/meal, mine came out to 22+(tip).“
