“I recently ordered catering from Lokal Venice and it was such a great experience. The place itself is super cute, the interior is really well put together and just beautiful to look at.

This was my first time ordering catering from them, and it was a total success. Everything was delivered right on time, and the presentation was amazing. I ordered burritos and asked them to cut them in half, which made everything look extra neat and organized, perfect for a group setting.

I had quite a few dietary restrictions to accommodate since this was for a Teacher Appreciation Day at a school (vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, egg allergies, dairy-free) and they handled everything so well. The communication was easy, they responded quickly to emails, and made the whole process stress-free.

On top of all that, they even let me take their insulated bags to make it easier to transport everything, they just asked me to return them later. I thought that was such a thoughtful and helpful touch.

I 1000% recommend them, and I’ll definitely be ordering from them again for my next catering!“

“This place is a hidden gem. The Philly cheesesteak with fries/drink combo is one of my favorite lunches on the westside. Plenty of well seasoned meat & veggies, and the option to add lettuce/tomato/mayo - which I do. And the sandwich is very neatly wrapped in paper and cut in half - making it easy to eat. The crinkle cut fries are always perfectly cooked - with a crisp outside, but still fluffy inside, and then enhanced with seasoning (Lawry’s maybe?). Plus self-serve Coke fountain beverages (a sign says only 1 refill, but they don’t seem to be stingy with this).

They also have teriyaki bowls and burgers - but I haven’t tried those yet.

They have a GREAT selection of bottled & canned sodas/drinks, including Jarritos, Jones, Boylan, and Snapple - big winners!

The inside is dated and worn…and it’s perfect!
It’s been here since 1957, and appears to be family owned & operated.

“We had two different company meetings where we had to provide food, and we were stressed about finding the right place. Someone had recommended Sandwich Saloon for catering. Their sandwich platters with a Chinese salad were not just reasonably priced, but they were able to customize some for vegans. They were able to deliver the food early for said meetings, and also provide plates, forks, and napkins. Everyone at the meetings just inhaled the sandwiches. Incredibly friendly service. I recommend for any company meal.“

“WOAH. Best banh mi I ever had. They put them on freshly made baguettes that they make (so it’s fresh and crisp)! The chicken and veggies were so perfectly fresh and delicious! Filling and you don’t feel like you ate a heavy sandwich—this the place. The biscoff latte, also the shit. While waiting for my order also got to buy my Asian chili sauce for my house that most Asian restaurants have (if you are a frequent buyer of this, was also a nice convenience!)
It’s right in front of Tesla chargers so also can be most efficient charge/snack ever.

“If there’s one place known for Vietnamese coffee, it’s this one. That sweet, creamy, ice-cold brew will keep you wired longer than any energy drink. It’s strong, but in the best way. Don’t even bother asking for less ice because the drink is meant to be diluted. Without it, the coffee is way too concentrated (even their bottled version at Costco says to mix it with ice or water!).

Not sure why this isn’t more popular in SoCal, there’s no other place that has a hot pastrami sandwich! Ike’s, Jimmy John’s, Jersey Mikes, and dare I even put Subway in this sentence, HAS NOTHING on ToGo’s hot pastrami sandwich. No one has it! It’s sooo good. It’s not like regular cold pastrami, it’s cooked and almost taste like a less salty, most moist, less fatty bacon. It’s sooooo good.“

This customer gave me the ick and started to threaten me and my adopted children, furthermore, she threatened to adopt me. Being cornered by the lady, I felt as if it were the end. But suddenly, the employees came in and saved my life. In return, I gave them my children for saving my life, you know, an eye for eye. Feeling gratitude for my trade, the employees bowed down to me and began the subway ritual. Tomatoes all around me, olives all over my hair, and salami on my shoulder, I felt a sense of bewilderment. One of the employees started speaking this ancient language, I believe it was something like come estas ahora. No, I knew what they were saying, but nonetheless, I ventured through the ritual. As the ritual concluded, I felt a sense of holiness and change, I was no longer the same man I once was, I was Jared Fogle. I quickly examined myself in the mirror and began to weep as the revelation came through. I now had to live life as Hared Fogle, from now on I was that one weirdo no one would ever love. I'm 82 now, and still am Jared Fogle, and will probably remain this way for the rest of my life.
