“Amazing cookies, beautiful owner inside and out!“

“I was recently in the Imperial Beach area and stopped by Trident Coffee. I went with the breakfast burrito which was made with a Gluten Free Tortilla, eggs, sausage, cheese, hash browns, garlic, and onion. It was absolutely delicious. I really appreciated how the ingredients were chopped up really small. They also had chipotle mayo available on the side but I did not try that.

For the coffee, I went with a decaf salted caramel mocha iced cold brew with oat milk, 15/10. So good.

The service was great, the gals working at the register were so nice. In addition, the place was very clean. My total for the two items, including tax was $23.67.

If I’m ever in the area again, I’ll definitely be stopping by.“

“Love their new location downtown. More space with the same high quality croissants and sourdough loaves. Chocolate croissant and olive pecan sourdough are my favorites.“

“This is a nice place with nice people but the baked items are so bland. We tried 6 different items and while the quality was there the flavor was lacking in a major way.

For example their double chocolate croissant barely tasted chocolately.

The strawberry ricotta Danish was overwhelmingly full of strawberries to the point that it was all you could taste.

The beef supreme tasted so bland we had to add hot sauce.“

“Every time I visit, the cookies are fresh, warm, and packed with flavor. I love that the menu changes weekly—it keeps things fun and gives me something new to look forward to. “Was super good. And sooo squishy and soft! Very very good. You can tell it's made fresh. The squares are (mango, coconut, chocolate) I forgot what the other ones are but my fav ones are (mango, choco, and the one with brown powder.) they were all really good though.

Service: 9/10. It was quick. Everything is displayed and cooled. They were polite.

Super solid breakfast sandwiches, I got a sausage, egg, and cheese on an everything bagel. They have a good selection of muffins and donuts as well. We drove 1 hour and a half just to visit Bread Deluxe Bakery, and when we arrived, they were already about to close—but the two kuyas still welcomed us and let us buy. That kind of service truly means a lot.

The bread quality is amazing—super fresh and full of flavor. The puto and pandesal are especially outstanding, they really taste like home from the Philippines 🇵🇭

“Suspiros Cakes Chula Vista CA are delicious!!! Go in person to check out their many incredible flavors. The staff is incredibly friendly (English and Spanish speaking) and takes the time to find you your perfect cake. I ordered the carrot cake and choco crema/pinguino cakes for my wedding-- all the guests raved about how good they were! It is great that some flavors are offered in 1/4 or 1/2 sheets. “I flew in from Dallas, TX, to visit a friend who lives in the area. We bought pancit and lechon. The pancit was really, really good and the lechon was cooked to perfection. Great location with ample parking. The restaurant is very clean, and the staff is very friendly. Will definitely stop by the next time I'm in town.“

“A great little French “bistro”. The menu is varied enough for most. I had the curry chicken salad which was perfectly flavored. Portion size was generous. My husband had a bacon panino with a suave of fresh fruit. The fruit was really fresh and ripe. We couldn’t resist dessert - they have a large display of very delectable desserts. The coffee was perfect - strong without any bitterness. Waiter was attentive without being intrusive and offered me coffee to go. I highly recommend this little gem. While we didn’t drink, the table next to us ordered several bottles of wine.“

“Food portion is a little off if you dine in. The rice and meat ratio is not good. Rice looks like they only gave you 1 or 1.5 scoop while the meat is a good amount. We got the spamsilog and wife got the tapsilog. They gave us 4 slices of spam, which is a good portion vs the rice. Good flavor on the food, the garlic rice, just needs a little bit of salt to taste. Overall good experience!“

It’s our spot for Pansit, siomai, and Spanish bread.

They are selling Espasol now (regular & Ube), so I’ve been coming here more often now since it’s my wife’s favorite, and this is where she believes the best Espasol in SD is.

Just have cash available since there’s an extra charge if you’re paying with a credit card.

They just did some renovation inside the store, so it’s more welcoming and offers more Filipino canned products/delicacies now.

No issues with parking during my visit. Nice staff.“

Cakes are available behind the counter. Ordered three cakes here already. Little pricey but it’s worth it. Cute designs and not overly sweet.

Cloud donuts were nice and soft but no wow factor on the first bite. Butter roll was delicious; crispy and flaky crust with buttery taste and texture inside.

We tried their strawberry smoothie; missing the strawberry flavor. Glad we had some
strawberry at home and had to salvage the drink.

Aesthetics is giving and inviting. Staff were all nice and courteous.

Parking is hit or miss depending on the time since it’s on the same plaza as Seafood City and multiple Asian restaurants.“

I am so pleased that I found Sugarbears Sweet Provisions, not only was the customer service excellent, the cake was created just as I imagined and was absolutely delicious!! “A sore throat and achey joints had me sending my husband to get a container of arroz caldo. The food he brought home is **EXACTLY** what my body needed. My throat isn't hurting anymore, and the taste is gentle enough for this white person's pallete to enjoy, while still savory and delicious. “Recently I've been going to Tijuana for dental work and one morning before heading back to Las Vegas I was on the hunt for some pan dulce and some café de olla. Mind you I wake up early, it was a Saturday morning and I noticed they open at 3am! That was serendipity!

My wife and I get ready and arrive. Nestled in a plaza next do a donut shop mind you! We enter and were greeted by a very nice young lady. There is café de olla on a shelf to the right hand side as you enter. You can smell the fresh brewed coffee with a hint of cinammon right as you walk. The coffee taste like a breath of fresh air from México. So rich and delicous. They have such a large selection of pan dulces I was so delighted to choose a wide variety. The white and chocolate conchas are so airy and pillowy soft with a nice cinnamon hint. The elotes are typically a bit hard but not here, a bit dense bit still light and fluffy dough. They have stuffed bolillos, quite a few varieties actually. They have cheese, bean, ham, picadillo and jalapeño and cheese.

Prior to paying I realized they also made in house tamales so I definitely needed to try them as I am a connoisseur (ahem lol). We opted for a pork tamal in red and a chicken tamal in red. Let me tell you, that was one of THE BEST tamales I have had in years!! Mind you I make my own tamales for my family. The dough is soft and moist, the salsa used is spicy but not over the top, and the flavoring in the masa itself was stupendous. And then to top it off, I saw these in house made ham tortas. Oh man, my mouth is watering just thinking of it again. That torta though humble and simple, was hands down a 10 out of 10.

Hable por telefono y la persona que me contesto muy mal modienta y todavia me dijo en forma de broma que tal vez ya nos lo habiamos comido y que si queria regresarla tenia que estar completa la rosca .....pos como, si le estaba diciendo que no traia el bebito ovio que tenia que partirla verdad. Al final me dijo que habia un letrero en registro que si a la rosca no le tocaba el bebito que se podia pedir en la panaderia... y que si lo queria tenia que ir a recogerlo... yo no vivo cercas pase por que crei que era una panaderia buena. Lastima.. 😡“
