“The Henry in Coronado serves up a breakfast experience that's as delightful as a morning on the beach, marked by its exceptional coffee and creative dishes. With a full barista service that crafts latte art you'll hesitate to sip, it sets the stage for a meal to remember. My ranchero dish was a flavorful nod to traditional chilaquiles, while my wife's Flower Child Scramble—a vibrant mix of roasted Brussels sprouts, cauliflower, and kale—showcased the kitchen's flair for transforming simple ingredients into a feast for the senses.“

“I think you come here for the view. The few vegetarian options included a veggie bean burger (a bit lazy if you ask me) and a Korean style tofu bowl, which was a bit like a bibimbap without the crispy rice. They add 5% surcharge (why not just increase prices?). Free parking, good service, and heated outdoor seatings.“

“Whether you are popping in for a glass of wine before shopping at Sepulveda next door or having dinner of their wonderful specials that change daily (check Instagram), you will enjoy your experience at Juan Jasper. Lots of lively conversations between the staff and patrons (while still being attentive), varied and upbeat music playing just loud enough in the background, and a direct view of the kitchen makes for a wonderful atmosphere. A small act of consideration and respect by a customer is rewarded by the generous proprietor. This is what service and dining should be. You can see why folks happily wait to get a seat at this local gem. Cannot recommend enough: great for lunch and dinner.“

“MJ's is amazing! This is really good food. It's filling and delicious. I got the Buddha Bowl topped with crab, shrimp, avocado, and a fried egg. I also got a strawberry-banana boba smoothie. MJ himself is a legend and has amazing customer service. Very kind and sincere. I will return and try more things.“

“Enchiladas were okay, had the border option, the mole enchilada was a bit cold and the chicken still had a price of bone and tendon on it.My son's pancake and egg did not have much flavor. My brothers order, 3 carne asada tacos, came out later than our food. Horchata could have been better too.My son kept throwing tantrums so I do apologize to the staff that worked that day.“

“A lovely cozy spot in Gaslamp quarter. One of the nicest interiors and ambiance that really gives you a French vibe. We went during restaurant week and got their $40 3-course dinner. This was super worth it and all around good food. We had the croquette/clams for starters, French onion soup, and steak frites/chicken for mains. The French onion soup was lovely with a puff pastry on top of it and the steak was done well and a generous portion. Service was excellent, waiters were really attentive and updating us every few minutes as we were waiting for the previous customers to leave. Our waiter even told us when he was leaving for his break.“

“An awesome little gem nestled away at the One America Plaza trolley stop! The service was warm, friendly and upbeat. I felt so welcome. And the taco trio was outstanding -- I couldn't finish it (the little side of tortilla chips and salsa were delicious, too! I added avocado and it elevated already perfect tacos. I work nearby and this was my first time here. Will definitely be back!“

“Went there for a drink yesterday afternoon with my friend. I love the cute place. When the weather is very nice, I like open space with friends. Last year I did pre-game with my friend was fun too. I didn't order food yesterday and last year only had fries but next time love to try their food menu so that I can post ? my review. Oh drink is so good! Love the naming.“

“Do not miss out. This was my best meal during my week in Downtown San Diego. Madame Bonnie's prime rib was the best I have had in ages. We went there because of the historic story behind the building, but we left delighted by our evening there. The food and service were outstanding. The atmosphere was charming, and the price was reasonable. I only wish I had gone to Bonnie's earlier in my week.“

“My partner and I had a little weekend get away and were really pleased with the Bronze Bird, we did dinner, drinks and breakfasts throughout the weekend and every single staff member we interacted with were kind and went above and beyond. When we went for dinner it was a really busy Saturday night, special shout out to Rob who was hosting that night and noticed any possible ruffles and smoothed them over before we even had a chance to notice. The breakfast staff the next morning were also accommodating and kind.“

“Can't believe I've never opined on this spot. I'm pretty sure I remember when it opened like 20 years ago. I've been here dozens of times over the years because of the location (near downtown courts and offices) mostly for lunch but sometimes for dinner after a long day in trial.I've also been to other locations- I went to the one in kearney Mesa a year or two ago. Anywho, I was here for dinner. I submitted by whole order before anyone approached me about anything, water, etc. Not a big deal for me, who loves to order without talking to anyone but maybe others who don't know the spot as well as I do.The steak and beer I got were good, I wanted to mention that the zucchini they included were actually tasty and not just a greasy throw away side as is often the case at brewery type places. When the waiter did arrive he was nice, although he had nothing to help me with.Generally speaking I felt like things had been upgraded since my last pandemic era visit several years ago.Vegetarian options: Some.Dietary restrictions: Stuff for everyone.Parking: Kind of tough.Kid-friendliness: Yes.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes.“
“It was so welcoming, the decor felt like I was back in Europe during Christmas season. The was very good. Definitely recomed.Vegetarian options: If you want vegan, let her know she make what you askDietary restrictions: If you have restrictions again she will make sure you get what you ask for.Parking: You can park on the street before the turn on her street it's only 2 Homes away.Kid-friendliness: It's on a patio... so if you say your having little ones she can accommodate.“

“This place has the best neighborhood bar feel. Saying the staff is awesome is an understatement. The food is commendable with lots of options, and every beer I tried was exactly what it was trying to be. So many refreshing styles and flavors, a beer fan cannot help but find a beer that works.“

“My wife and I absolutely love this place. We've ordered from here about 10 times and every time the sandwiches and salad are amazing. Great quality and super consistent. Even when we order a delivery, which is most of the time, the sandwiches come tasting delicious. We really needed a good salad and sandwich spot in Chula Vista and this place delivers!!“

“Overall the food is quite good. The noise level can be a bit irritating if one is seeking pleasant conversation. The menu is not extensive but the food is well prepared and tastefully presented. This was my first visit to this venue. I would not be averse to returning. Not as upscale as I prefer but still acceptable.“
“Love this spot for a rooftop pool day! they have delicious bites & poolside drinks too. I love their frozen pina colada drinks and the Mediterranean board. Their staff was awesome and whether you're a local or visitor, it's a great spot to soak up the sun!“

“I really don’t get the bad reviews… I’ve been coming here almost every week for almost a year now… it’s always a great time, any food that I have tried has always been fresh, hot and tasty. The beer selection is immense and delicious (get the bad apple cider… it’s the bees knees). I feel like anyone that had a bad experience… was a Karen ? or privileged. The owner is the best, super kind and has a great sense of humor. The other girl that gets behind the bar is also super nice and attentive. The bar is always clean and the regulars are also nice and welcoming. It’s almost like your family bar. I’ve had nothing but good vibes and energy ANY time I come. Try the fries, wings, tenders, burgers and the brisket… it’s all good… you won’t regret coming here“

“LOVE this place! Taco Tuesdays are great and the tacos are really good. I took a star bc i asked if i could hang up a flyer on their bulletin board, they said yes, then tore it down. If you didn’t want me to just say so, but don’t tear it down after giving permission; i have to pay to have those printed.“
“We went specifically for happy hour, which was advertised on their website as being Sunday to Thursday (no mention not being offered on any specific days). We were told - “we know, the website is wrong and needs to be updated.” We decided to eat there anyway and the food was ok. Ribs were tender, but pretty dry. Calamari steak was tender with the tatar sauce being the star. Ahi Tuna salad was heavy on the lettuce but decently good. Our server was lovely. She was attentive throughout the evening. The location was wonderful.“

The wait staff here are always very kind and helpful. We are sorry to hear it go and am hoping the restaurant taking over does as good a job.“
