“Eat here often since I drive a lot, ordered tacos and poppers , Jalapeño poppers came back a bit lacking, for the first time in a long time for the record. Called up, a Mister Carlos promptly apologized and fixed my order for me, little to no delay. Good customer service, good food, but watch them poppers.“

“Hidden gem of a taco shop!! They use fresh tortillas for their tacos and burritos and let me tell you, it really sets them apart from your usual SD taco spot. The food is fresh and doesn’t have that old-reheated taste that some others do.
Only con for some may be there are a couple of picnic tables outside for seating, otherwise it’s takeout. ☺️“

“This place was a pleasant surprise! My boyfriend and I ordered the combo meal with 3 tacos, fries and a drink. The tacos were so flavorful and delicious. He got 1 steak, 1 chicken, and 1 shrimp and was very satisfied. We even contemplated going again that night but we missed their closing time by 30 minutes. The only not so good thing were the fries but overall 10/10 highly recommend.“

“California Burrito Ranking (4):
Continuing my quest to rank San Diego's California Burritos!
Stop number four: Humberto's Taco Shop.
Product: The burrito was the largest I've ever seen, served incredibly quickly. It was fiery hot, almost too much so.Personally, I found the meat a bit dry. It's the cheapest burrito I've had in the city. They offer very spicy sauces. 5 out of 10
Service: The interaction was decent. 4 out of 10
Ambiance: Vibrant colors. Customers carve messages directly into the tables. When I arrived, it was quiet, but soon a large crowd formed and the line extended right to my table. 4 out of 10“

“So fun, glad we stumbled onto this place. After a walk on the Coronado beach, we decided to head south to IB. We checked out the menu on Google, as soon as I saw ossobuco taco I was sold. Parking in the lot by the restaurant was 2 bucks, score! It's a cash lot only FYI, and the lot was pretty dead despite the beach and boardwalk being full of people on a Friday evening. The restaurant is mostly outdoors, and they have upper patio seating to take in the view, the restaurant is super close to the shore. The entire staff was friendly, smiling, and so attentive. My husband tried a Japanese beer and he loved it, I got the Pina colada slushy, which was pretty good. But the tacos were out of this world, the ossobuco did not disappoint, so tender, so flavorful, and I think most of their tacos have that fried cheese in them. I also ordered a fish taco which was really crisp and fresh, but my husband's fried shrimp taco was unexpected. The shrimp was wrapped taquito-style then fried before added to the taco and dressed, crazy. Carne asada was tender and so well marinated, i could have eaten a plate of just that. We also had the sharable quesadilla which I highly recommend, the asadero cheese was fried and caramelized before it was put into the tortilla, which was also lightly grilled, it was mouthwatering! Two tacos each, a sharable quesadilla, and two drinks was like 55 bucks. I will be back, can't wait to try the carnitas taco.
Vegetarian options: I was impressed by the veggie options throughout the menu, clearly labeled and appetizing. We had to quesadilla, so yummy!“
