Love the fall pumpkin pie latte with the vivid cream latte being my favorite staple. The flavors here tend to be more subtle but deeper, so it’s not the slap-you-in-the-face high sugar content if that’s what you’re looking for. Love Be bright! Will definitely keep on coming!“

“Our morning ritual used to involve bludgeoning ourselves into a semblance of consciousness with the heavy-hand of a generic dark roast. It was an effective if inelegant solution to parenthood. Aqaurela's beans provide a different experience. We are by no means coffee experts, but my wife and I were surprised by the nuances in smell and taste when we tried their Deus Me Livre for our morning espresso. It's a lighter feel; almost refreshing. The morning cup feels a bit indulgent, yet not so rich as to make your mouth feel overwhelmed. We could see this pairing very well as an after-dinner treat with any manner of desserts. The best part is that this is simply a fantastic company to work with. Quick, fast delivery. Prompt follow-up to make sure we were completely satisfied. And all questions answered - when we noted that we typically prefer darker roasts, one of the owners explained that their goal was to make a medium-roast whose flavors would still hold up to a coordination with cream and sugar. It's a throwback to days where customer service and the personal touch were still important. This is a small business whose goal of promoting independent farmers is admirable and worthy of our support. Thank you!“

“If you want legit good cold brew & almond croissant, this is THE place. Their sweet cold brew has the perfect amount sweetness and excludes the heaviness of a latte. The croissant is full of moist cinammon flavor and the layers are buttery + not too flaky.
Overall also realized the shop is not just friendly in general but also super dog friendly as well so one can get the chance to see neighborhood doggos :3 there aren't a lot of seats (4 i think?) but this place is definitely worth the drinks/pasteries even for to-go.“

“Tried their passion fruit citrus tea today, it’s so refreshing and tasty! Though they only have crystal boba, you can add it to your tea. The staff is kind and attentive, the atmosphere of the place makes me wanna do my homework in there, perfectly cozy and sweet-nutty scented. “We both had the Healthy Start breakfast (one with salmon, the other with turkey bacon) + a coffee cake (not too sweet, the way we like it) + 2 cups of drip coffee (Peruvian). It was a delicious way to start the day- light, fresh, healthy, and the fruit cup with persimmons was a wonderful surprise! And, Farm Cup Coffee is within walking distance to Courtyard Marriott! Glad we tried this place...you should, too.

Taking the chance to quit their corporate jobs in 2006, they’ve been able to fuel their business from their personal relationship and their love for European luxury caffe culture. A fun fact, Caffe Luxxe is the first of its kind in L.A. for artisan coffee preparation, and boy golly, it is not one to miss at any of its So Cal locations. “Have subscribed to their monthly 3-bag coffee box for about two years now, always been happy with the roasts/beans. Also like stopping in the store from time to time to snag a special roast or when we run out. The Nighthawk Blend is an amazing dark roast and we've also been enjoying the lighter roasts too. The roast consistency from bag to bag is also quite strong, means minimal fiddling with grind settings to get good pour-over going each time we get a new batch. Strongly recommend!“

“I hear some British tourists talking to the hotel manager "this is the best taco place in LA."As the proud owner of a gut selectively fed with the best things in life, I ask what might that place be. Turns out, it's Tees cafe.I google the place. It doesnt even have tacos on its online menu. I ask the guy, are you sure this is the place. He says yes. They make great birria tacos.I decide to have a combined lunch and breakfast there the next day.God finds my plan too boring and I lose my credit cards the next day. I only find about it while trying to pay for my food, which thankfully I have to do before eating.I cancel my order with a light stomach and q heavy heart and join my friend sitting outside. We are both very respectful of individualism so I dont ask for help and he gracefully doesn't offer any as he silently inhales three tacos.A moment later I feel a tap on my shoulder. It's an almost comically stereotypical overweight Mexican daddy smiling with two tacos on a plate. They are free and they are for me.In retrospect, this was the only way for this mom and dad cafe to surpass my sky.high expectations. With delicious authentic tacos and hospitality I have no problem calling this the best taco place in downtown LA.Just don't make it too famous.“

“Oh HEY! -have you ever been blessed by St Matthew of Silverlake?! His glowing attitude is no match for his glowing skin and yet, if you do do yourself the favor of walking past the cliches of hipsterville like (can’t complain about it really) La colombe, you’d actually find a gem of a spot with this gem of a man (whose glowing attributes really won’t stop competing). And it’s this cafe. Fast with employees who care and a bright chill atmosphere that’s just right to send out all those “apology for last night, I was drunk” texts or “shoot your shot” on hinge (even tho you refuse to pay for it) messages cause the caffeine has kicked in, it’s strong, yummy, well served, and the color scheme is adorable here.
I say you switch it up and go here. I know the song of summer is “espresso” but this place has changed my identity to “Macha Lemonade” and made my heart reliant upon seeing Matthews great haircut at least 3 times a week. GO! It’s the ideal and void of cliches! V cute for a meet up or a date (ahem, men on Hinge)“
