“If this hasn't been written yet, this shop has incredible coffees that is worth your frequent visits. If it's any testament, Frank La is the 2024 United States Barista Champion. Coffee and hospitality is incredible, it would actually be a mistake not to come “
“Such a cute and tiny little coffee shop with great coffee and pastries. Ordered a Nutella croissant and it was really nice. The seating is limited and the waiting area can get cramped, but overall I love this cafe and am looking forward to returning.“
“This place is great. The coffee is good. The beans they sell are fresh and great. The pastries are good. There's seating. There's parking. The people who work here are super nice and remember regular customers' orders. No notes. It's perfect. Go.“
“I recently tried Stereoscope's pour-over coffee, and I must say it was top-notch. Their specialty coffee selection is truly exceptional. One of my favorites is the Guatemala, which offers a delightful blend of flavors including strawberry, grape juice, heavy body, and fudge notes. The brewing process and attention to detail really shine through in every sip. I highly recommend giving Stereoscope's pour-over a try if you're looking for a premium coffee experience.“
“I recently stopped by the coffee shop in South LA, and I have to say, their cafe de olla left quite an impression. It was a delightful experience, with the coffee being not only delicious but also incredibly smooth. It's safe to say that this spot is a hidden gem in LA, and I'll definitely be returning for more of that amazing brew.“
“Amazing! This is going to be a go to spot everytime I come home to visit from now on. Only bad thing is that I didn't learn about this place sooner, oh and that they were all out of shirts in my size. Great people and great vibe in here. Coffee delish of course!“
“Delicious Quesa Tacos! Must try if you're in the area or craving savory food. I had the steak and Al pastor. Their tacos alike their burritos are served with pickled onions, lime and chilitos. I can't wait to try the birria next time you won't regret it.“
“There’s no shortage of coffee stands in DTLA but my coworkers and I all tried different drinks and all loved this place the best. It’s a little hidden as it’s tucked away in the lobby of a beautiful building but well worth seeking out. This place is my new favorite.“

“The superfood coffee from here is next level, had me feeling like Bradley Cooper in Limitless lol.. I’d probably get it everyday but in the name of fiscal responsibility I also got some coffee beans to make a slightly less potent but still tasty cup at home ?“
“I ordered a matcha latte and a breakfast sandwich on an everything bagel with egg, cheese and avocado instead of bacon. The matcha was mediocre because of the quality but the barista did an excellent job making it with cinnamon and honey. Just couldn't taste much of the matcha flavor itself. The breakfast sandwich was incredible! Bagel perfectly crispy warm on the outside and soft inside, tomato jam incredible flavor. This place is a hole in the wall so not much space to sit except for some benches outside with a stunning view of the ocean. I went early morning around 8am on a weekday. It's a great grab and go location for locals or someone stopping by the area. Baristas were very friendly and chatted with everyone which created a welcoming atmosphere.“
“I enjoyed my coffee here. I got a basic latte and it was as expected but was good. It was busy but I found some seating in the bench by the wall. The sunlight when it hits make the space really nice but sometimes was a bit hard to see. There was a decent amount of seating though and the space was quiet and nice for getting work done.“
“First time I visited this local area & Verve Coffee in LA. Foods was good & Coffee was great. My favorite Coffee is Verve from Santa Cruz. Here I was thoroughly impressed . Products & collectibles available. The service was excellent, and the staff was friendly.Overall, a must-visit here.I have now visited all 4 branchs in the US -- Successful Missio! 5/5 Stars ?“
“I asked, "how did you end up choosing coffee as your passion?" And he replied, "I wouldn't call it a passion, it's more of an obsession." I told him it's the best coffee drink I've ever had, and he said that "it's not perfect yet, I'm still chasing the perfection." Can't wait to keep coming back to be able to drink his "perfect" drink.“
“While vacationing we like to find local small businesses. I am so glad we found offset. We ate breakfast here every morning. We had the lox, avocado toast and an egg and bacon biscuit. These delicious dishes were made with fresh ingredients and were also visually appealing. The coffee is roasted here providing the best quality product. The talented baristas are super friendly and able to answer your questions. Ample parking is available next to the building and handicap parking and ramp are out front.“
“I was looking for a place to do some studying and a friend recommended Verve. It’s a nice spot to just enjoy some tea and do some reading. There are a lot of people who seemed to be working, and a small group just there to socialize a bit. Everyone seemed respectful of the environment. You can pay for the tea once and get a couple steeps, which I thought was a nice touch. I’ll be back!“
“Came by on my way to fidm and it was so tiny. The person taking my order was so fast and he turned away and then handed a drink. He didnt ask for a name so i was confused if it was mine or not but in conclusion it was LOL i got a chai latte and it was average. I dont think ill be back again“
“My friend parked near the park entrance and then we walked to the shop. The draft oat milk latte was the stuff of vegan dreams (been vegan since 2011, who would’ve thought this would be life in 2024!). I will be back every time I’m in LA.“
“Very friendly staff but understaffed. So we had to keep asking/reminding them for orders not brought out. The code was also cold which is a bummer because otherwise it would have been really good. The food was good but my male coworkers complained the portions were too small.“
“This was a solid coffee shop I popped in for a black coffee and a mocha and this hit the spot. I'd say the mocha was better than my coffee but they still used a high quality bean for my coffee. Great if you're in the area and looking for a Starbucks “
“Excellent coffee with a lovely, quiet patio filled with beautiful succulents. There are great options for coffee nerds who want to taste single origin pourovers. Our hotel was about a 12 minute walk to Alana's. Had I not convinced my husband to try some new places, he would have gone here every day.“
“Newberry Coffee & Tea in Torrance, CA, offers an exceptional coffee and tea experience. With warm hospitality and a diverse menu of exotic blends sourced from around the world, every visit promises satisfaction. From rare single-origin beans to innovative seasonal offerings, Newberry's dedication to quality and customer service shines through. Whether you're a coffee connoisseur or a tea lover, Newberry Coffee & Tea is the perfect destination for a memorable beverage experience.“
“Got a latte made with almond milk it was average no complaints but, a bit overpriced for what you get. They have some nice outdoor seating, as well as some indoor. It’s very busy because the country mart is a great fun spot. I would probably just get a coffee and pastry from the farm shop which is no less expensive but I like it better. I will have to try their croissants in the future, they looked good. Also not that it is any doing by the cafe but the parking is free with validation but it was filled up like it usually is on the weekend and a spot opened and they told me I could only valet it for an extra 5 bucks which seemed odd.“
“One of the best coffee shops in LA. Cafecito cubano con leche is one of the best I’ve tried so far. It’s strong as well as smooth at the same time. And tres leches muffin was just delicious. Highly recommend coffee aficionados to check out and try this “
“Coffee + bagels = Best coffee shop ever!It was a great experience. They make their begs in house. The coffee was fantastic! 1802 had enough room for sitting and outlets. Great place to work, study, and chill. For the all the Filipinos out there! 1802 is also Filipino own. Support your local bayan.“
“I go here to buy coffee beans and have their espresso every time I go. The beans are very good except their decaf beans which I didn't like all that much. They serve espresso with sparkling water and a piece of chocolate which makes my day. However I have also been to the Culver City branch and I felt that one is just better when it comes to espresso.“
“Got their special “liquid luck latte” for St Patrick’s Day which was made with matcha and a minty cream top. It was good 8 dollars and a lot of ice. Quick service and oat milk was not extra which is appreciated. Their pastries looked good too, it’s inside the market area so you can find a seat after counter service. Street parking is not around, but there are a couple parking garages nearby with 90 minutes free.“
“Got a classic latte it was pretty good. The almond milk is an extra $2 which I think is a bit much. They had some tea cakes that also looked good but were pricey as well. The service was friendly and is a nice spot. Also outdoor seating provided and they have some more eating options like avocado toast etc.“
“A cozy place to get some work done. They have a few tables for outside as well. The coffee is good and they always seem to have new concoctions. I tried the Abuelita Latte with oat milk, tasted like my childhood hehe the right amount of sweetness and creamiest latte you'd want. 10/10 They also carry a variety of pastries for about $7. All in all a great addition to Culver City coffee scene“
“It's a good fit for Brentwood. I enjoyed:* my cold brew* my citrus olive oil muffin * the outgoing service * the location * its sparkly space* Brentwoody energy - it gave me a good dose of exactly what I was looking for I did not love:- the unusually loud music when I was trying to concentrate; it didn't seem fitting I'm not exactly running back, but I'd possibly return...WITH my noise-canceling AirPods.“
“I was visiting from outside of town looking for a good coffee to try in the morning. Any coffee house with the word 'roasters' in the name always enticed me to try it versus a regular coffee shop. Parking is not ideal so I recommend just going for street parking instead of attempting to drive in their little lot. It is shared with 2 other businesses and there's only 2 spaces actually reserved for the coffee house. It is a decent sized space with lots of seating available, especially for those that opt to work there. Can't comment on whether there are a lot of outlets available or not cause I was just in and out. But it is very quiet and calming space, very welcoming and would be a great place to sit and work at. There is just one register to order at and the cashier was very friendly and helpful when inquiring about their menu. I ordered the espresso dul'sal: an iced espresso that's whipped with cream and sugar, with a sprinkle of black salt on top to finish it off. HOLY COW I love this drink so much. The texture was creamy and velvety, like drinking a cloud! It wasn't overly sweet and the salt was such a nice pairing. I will never try another drink on this menu because it is my new obsession. When ordering there's a giant pastry cabinet next to the register and it's hard to ignore all of the goodies in there. I got a banana chocolate chip coffee cake and they warmed it up for me. It was so light and fluffy, not crazy sweet and the chocolate balanced everything out. Super good but I would still like to try other pastries they offer. This is my new go to when I'm in LA!“
“The store has been around for 30 years. They roast their own coffees and they have many great selection, including the un-roasted ones. I bought Indigo after reading a review, and it is a strong aromatic coffee for espresso. I really like it. And so does my partner. They also host an baristas class sometimes (check their web) which I someday should attend :) Tips: bring cash for a discount. They give you 1 to 5 bucks (depending on size) discounted price for customers paying with cash“
“Around 1 o’clock on March 18, 24?I visited the LA company before seeing the mural at the recommendation of my brother! It was nice to be able to park for 2 hours free in front of the cafe! The staff was friendly and it was nice to be able to see the roasting in person!Because we changed seats, the staff had a hard time finding us (looking around, looking around). The warmed bread is so delicious! The coffee was all delicious too! The cup is also my favorite color!!This is a memorable cafe from my first trip to America!“
“I've been here twice and I love Matcha! They know how to prepare it very well and it is of very good quality. Furthermore, the staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is very calm. It is very nice decorated. It is definitely one of the best in the sector.“
“Fantastic quality of coffee and pastries. I know it's like 300 feet from a Starbucks but this place will blow starbucks away. The atmosphere is relaxing and fun at the same time. Their coffee was delicious and they have some really good pastries. I absolutely recommend this place.Dietary restrictions: Offers milk alternativesKid-friendliness: Has a kid drink menu“
“Here just a few days ago. Love their coffee and the pastries that they have available. They hae indoor and outdoor seating. Great service from the staff!Parking: They have a little lot on the side where you can park or you can find street parking, just mind the signs!!!“
“this is my favorite location. The place is so tranquil and I love their “HOOVER WILDERNESS” ? ? patio area. There’s nothing like being surrounded by plants ? I had the turkey sandwich which is made with croissant bread (had the perfect balance of softness), their Coquito ? iced drink (it’s like a horchata vanilla twist drink❤️) and the chai latte (he best chai I’ve ever had?!)“
“Came at 8 when they opened before stopping by the flower market. There wasn't anyone here and I possibly though they are running late or wrong hours ? I waited about 10 mins to walk around in hopes someone came and right as I was ready to leave someone came to open, thankfully. I order a chia which was good, the barista was sweet to let me try the concentrate. Their concentration is good not too spicy and has a licorice touch but when it was made into a latte it lost that good flavor. Next time I'd ask for a little more chai but that is my preference I orders an shot of espresso on the side to taste the body and flavor without the mix of the latte.good pulled shot As much as I wanted to only give 4 stars because they didn't open on time, I would be doing wrong because there is not context, maybe an emergency or some business issue who knows but life does happen. I will say when the barista come, she came in quick and got down to it. The area needs a place to just drink coffee and I'm glad they are here investing“
“Smokey Hollow is convenient, quick and has an ambiance that is super chill and welcoming. The cafe is located in a building that’s walking distance from everything so no matter where I order from, my food will be hot and ready. If the food is not ready, there is a courtyard there where you can play ping pong, corn hole, or miniature golf while waiting. Plus the staff Johnny and Kush need a shoutout as they are pleasant and make amazing coffee drinks. I love working in this building and this one of the best amenities offered so prop to the building management team as well!“
“In Short,It’s a good coffee shop in a good location. With a few more details,Coffee is good. Matcha Latte was good did not need to be sweetened. They seemed to have a good amount of pastries in glass box which protects it and looks good too. Only problem was it had a tiny bug flying around in it. Wasn’t a deterrent honestly. It happens.I tried the almond croissant. The paste inside was amazing and very delicious, but the croissant was a bit too crunchy and hard in some bites which made me think that it was a bit old. It was still good but the coffee and other factors it keeps this place at 4 stars.Decor looked clean and bright and fresh.Staff was helpful and friendly.I like the standing room area. Maybe add another standing bench like that outside too. Just an idea.Location was great for people watching or doing some work (if you find a seat) while being close to the pier and the beach or just meeting someone and hanging out. Also pretty central to grab coffee and continue walking alongside the green belt or boardwalk.Anyway I enjoyed this spot.“
“Not sure if the name came from what I'm about to say, but this cute spot has a compellingly good iced coffee. Sometimes you find a good cold ice coffee and after a few sips it hits you "Wow, this is fantastically good coffee!" I had one of those moments today after ordering. From what I saw it's street parking only. However, I was able to park on the street for free before 11am on Sunday! Score!“
“I tried La Colombe for the first time today and they did not disappoint. The staff was very friendly, and the service was great. I ordered an iced americano, it was slightly on the bitter side, which I like. I could taste their high quality beans. I will be back to try other drinks next time I'm in the area.“
“I didn't know La Colombe had a coffee shop until today while I was in the area for business and spotted the sign. The building is so beautiful with brick walls and greenery, the outdoor seating area is very cute, there is some indoor seating as well. The wood tables and chairs add a lot of character to the place. Their cold brew was delicious without any aftertaste or high acidity. They have variety of drinks including specials. They also sell canned coffee in case you want some to go. I also noticed they had a few croissants left and some cookies so I'm assuming they sell freshly baked goods as well. Customer service was ok. Overall I liked the vibes of this place and will add it to my favorites.“
“I was not expecting this to be a full menu cafe but it is. Gorgeous location with more than enough seating and atmosphere and so much more than simply coffee! I stopped in for breakfast. Great coffee & pastries! I shall return for lunch soon!“
“Whether it's for personal, business or for any other type of use, these guys have the right coffee for you! I work for a vending company and we only use their coffee. They have all kinds of ways to use, vend packs, single serve, restaurant style, flavored, freeze dried, whole bean, literally every style and easy to serve it. Including for your k cup dispenser. Try them out and reap the benefits!“
“I am writing passionately because I work nearby and have been looking for some place to stop by as a routine for breakfast. Im someone with a pretty sensitive stomach in the morning, but I also wanna make sure that I am getting in a good breakfast. THIS IS THE PLACE! They have a wide variety of options and many are health & light. Will be coming back. Currently demolishing their Abbot Bowl and its sooooo good. PLEASE CHECK THIS PLACE OUT“
“I'm travel for work and pleasure and I'm always looking for a coffee shop with good vibes. In the US, it's rare to find a black woman owned coffee shop that also roast their own beans! These ladies know their beans! You will feel welcome when standing outside, and then when you go in, the love will comfort you like a hug. They have the best Guatemalan roast, I've found in this country from east to west and north to south! If you don't believe me, then try them out.“
