“Regardless of how many new boba places will open up, TP Tea will always have a soft spot in my heart. My first TP Tea experience happened at their Cupertino storefront and I remember how crazy and wild the line was for that grand opening. It’s crazy to think there’s over 5 locations for the Bay Area now. Woohoo!! Now, onto the drinks! I am a HUUUUGE fan of their wintermelon Tieguanyin tea. I know, it’s a simple drink that’s really hard to mess up, but for some reason, the way it’s brewed at TP Tea reigns supreme in my eyes. I also like the touch of Tieguanyin tea. Fun fact: I never knew or heard of Tieguanyin until coming across TP Tea! If you like a blend of aromatic tea notes with a hint of sweetness from wintermelon, I cannot recommend this drink enough. However, if you’re in the mood for a milk tea, I highly recommend the strawberry milk tea! It has a nice blend of milk and fragrant tea, with the acidity and sweetness of REAL strawberries. And if you really wanted to make any drink a winner, you’re going to want to add QQ noodles in your drink! I don’t know what makes it so good, but it’s definitely chewy and fun to have in your drink. I also find it a unique boba topping compared to the other boba shops in town. Got myself a wintermelon Tieguanyin tea and Sunshine ice tea for my BOGO drink! #TPTeaBayArea #TPTEA“

“I had a good experience at this small specialty tea shop. Very clean and they have a good decor. Same Plaza as taiko, AJ Restaurant, Sunmerry. Their menu had something for everyone. I got a grapefruit soda that was pretty refreshing. I went during a time when it was very slow, but very nice for taking pictures or enjoying the quiet time. If you're looking for a place with interesting creations, check it out!“

“Benjamin was an awesome server. So friendly and welcoming. The drinks were delicious and we loved our tacos. We were given a free dessert for our anniversary, which was awesome. I loved the “Dixie” theme. Decor was spot on. The only reason I gave ambience 4 stars was because the music didn't always fit the theme. Every now and then you'd hear OutKast or more pop rock. Overall great concept and something unique for the Hotel. Stay.“

“Visited this place by recommendation from a friend. It’s tucked away in the corner of Irvine Village Plaza, where there’s some decent parking available. The shop is small but has a cozy ambiance with a good amount of seating inside and outside, making it a nice spot to hang out.

The menu offers a wide variety of drinks, including classic milk teas, fruit teas, and some unique specialty options. I tried their oolong milk tea, and it was smooth and flavorful, with the boba having a nice chewy texture. The service is generally fast, but during peak hours, it can be a bit slower. There’s no direct interaction with staff since orders are placed through kiosks. They only have two kiosks, so lines tend to form during busy times.

Overall, if you’re looking for a good boba spot to hang out and enjoy a refreshing drink, this place is definitely worth a visit!“

“The boba here was amazing. I really loved the service because I had lost my wallet somewhere and they took the time out of their day to try and help me look for it. The building made me feel really comfortable and laughed when me and my friend got order number 100 and 1“

“1. The Oreo cloud had a good balance between creamy and icey! It definitely tastes like Oreo!
2. The spot has fun casual vibes since it is located inside a food hall!
3. The staff were friendly and timely with my order!

“Right after the Sanrio store, we came here for drinks. They had a few specials. Buy 6 drinks, get 1 free. Buy 1, get the same drink for $1. Or buy a drink and pay x for dessert.

I wanted two different drinks so none of those deals worked for us. I ended up with Uji Matcha Milk Tea and it was so bold, strong, and earthy. I loved it. Kept me wired all day.

The kiddo got strawberry yogurt and she loved it. We loved it too. It was fruit creamy and refreshing.“

“Junbi recently provided some amazing drinks at a conference in Irvine! They were super easy to work with--flexible, communicative, and enthusiastic. They helped me pick the perfect mix of flavors for our group. The team was early for setup, something I can deeply appreciate as an Event Coordinator. Needless to say, their drinks got cleared out! “Their brown sugar cream brûlée drink IS THE BEST EVER!!! it been 1 month since my Hawaii vacation and I cannot stop thinking about it ... so I’ve been googling other locations and luckily found out there’s one in Irvine CA which is only 1 hour away from me and let me tell you I will not mind driving an hour all the way from San Diego just to get one I LOVE IT! 😍“

“Red straw is actually great. High quality ingredients and most importantly, MANY decaf options, which is what I am always looking for. Not just for myself, but my young son as well who will not be getting a caffeinated drink. The only thing I really wish most tea places had were kids sizes! Instead my son and I have to share a drink because I am not buying a 4 year old his own full size boba drink. So technically I would spend more money there if I could buy myself a full size and him a kids size. Oh well, hope to see more kids sizes in the future. Otherwise the drinks are delicious“

“I don’t typically venture to new spots for Poke but since I was in the area I decided to give Bay Poke a try. I wasn’t expecting much since i’ve been disappointed by most poke spots whether it be quality of the fish or flavors. I was happily mistaken as the poke was amazing. I would definitely get it again if i’m nearby and recommend others to try.“

“Not sure why this place has so many bad reviews. I just encountered the sweetest lady who let me try my drink before she sealed it because I was concerned about it being too sweet. I got a mango jasmine tea with 0 sugar and she waited for me to taste it before adding more sugar. What a gem! The tea was also very yummy, with fresh mango purée. I would return for sure.“

“Please bring back the Longjin cheese cap tea!

The Longjin cheese cap tea is delicious and is the low caffeine tea option I need. I was planning come back long term just for this drink.

But I discovered recently that it's no longer on the menu. This would have been a five star review for the Longjin tea alone.

I would highly recommend others to try the Longjin tea if/when it is back for it strikes a perfect balance of tea flavor, bouquet and caffeine.“

“This nice little shop tucked away inside a small shopping center is a gem. Highly recommend coming here for some boba and toast to go or to hangout inside the cute little shop. Ordered bulee throw it crystal boba and I have to say that this is one of my fave 9 out of 10 stars. The perfect matcha, 80% sweet and less ice was 8 out 10. The custard toast with taro was soft, creamy and sweet 8 out 10 stars. Will come here again when we're in Irvine.“

“It’s one of my favorite shave ice forever. But we tried Boba Tea this time, a little bit disappointed. It looks like they don’t have enough employees, I had to wait 1 hour and 40mins. However, the tea was not tasty as their shave ice, and the Boba was over cook. My boy loves Boba and always orders double. Unfortunately, he didn’t like their Boba at all.
Still will come, but no more Boba Tea here.“
