“Regardless of how many new boba places will open up, TP Tea will always have a soft spot in my heart. My first TP Tea experience happened at their Cupertino storefront and I remember how crazy and wild the line was for that grand opening. It’s crazy to think there’s over 5 locations for the Bay Area now. Woohoo!! Now, onto the drinks! I am a HUUUUGE fan of their wintermelon Tieguanyin tea. I know, it’s a simple drink that’s really hard to mess up, but for some reason, the way it’s brewed at TP Tea reigns supreme in my eyes. I also like the touch of Tieguanyin tea. Fun fact: I never knew or heard of Tieguanyin until coming across TP Tea! If you like a blend of aromatic tea notes with a hint of sweetness from wintermelon, I cannot recommend this drink enough. However, if you’re in the mood for a milk tea, I highly recommend the strawberry milk tea! It has a nice blend of milk and fragrant tea, with the acidity and sweetness of REAL strawberries. And if you really wanted to make any drink a winner, you’re going to want to add QQ noodles in your drink! I don’t know what makes it so good, but it’s definitely chewy and fun to have in your drink. “Benjamin was an awesome server. So friendly and welcoming. The drinks were delicious and we loved our tacos. We were given a free dessert for our anniversary, which was awesome. I loved the “Dixie” theme. Decor was spot on. The only reason I gave ambience 4 stars was because the music didn't always fit the theme. Every now and then you'd hear OutKast or more pop rock. Overall great concept and something unique for the Hotel. Stay.“

“I had a good experience at this small specialty tea shop. Very clean and they have a good decor. Same Plaza as taiko, AJ Restaurant, Sunmerry. Their menu had something for everyone. I got a grapefruit soda that was pretty refreshing. I went during a time when it was very slow, but very nice for taking pictures or enjoying the quiet time. If you're looking for a place with interesting creations, check it out!“

“Visited this place by recommendation from a friend. It’s tucked away in the corner of Irvine Village Plaza, where there’s some decent parking available. The shop is small but has a cozy ambiance with a good amount of seating inside and outside, making it a nice spot to hang out.

The menu offers a wide variety of drinks, including classic milk teas, fruit teas, and some unique specialty options. I tried their oolong milk tea, and it was smooth and flavorful, with the boba having a nice chewy texture. The service is generally fast, but during peak hours, it can be a bit slower. There’s no direct interaction with staff since orders are placed through kiosks. They only have two kiosks, so lines tend to form during busy times.

Overall, if you’re looking for a good boba spot to hang out and enjoy a refreshing drink, this place is definitely worth a visit!“

“This shop has teas, little bites and ice cream. Came for the bobo tea and ordered a guava match latte. They use real milk here, but have non dairy option. The matcha guava was a nice blend and with boba hit the spot. I ordered it with 0 sugar and for me it was sweet enough already.
I need to come back and try the ice cream one day.“

“1. The Oreo cloud had a good balance between creamy and icey! It definitely tastes like Oreo!
2. The spot has fun casual vibes since it is located inside a food hall!
3. The staff were friendly and timely with my order!

“Right after the Sanrio store, we came here for drinks. They had a few specials. Buy 6 drinks, get 1 free. Buy 1, get the same drink for $1. Or buy a drink and pay x for dessert.

I wanted two different drinks so none of those deals worked for us. I ended up with Uji Matcha Milk Tea and it was so bold, strong, and earthy. I loved it. Kept me wired all day.

The kiddo got strawberry yogurt and she loved it. We loved it too. It was fruit creamy and refreshing.“

“Their brown sugar cream brûlée drink IS THE BEST EVER!!! it been 1 month since my Hawaii vacation and I cannot stop thinking about it ... so I’ve been googling other locations and luckily found out there’s one in Irvine CA which is only 1 hour away from me and let me tell you I will not mind driving an hour all the way from San Diego just to get one I LOVE IT! 😍“

“Red straw is actually great. High quality ingredients and most importantly, MANY decaf options, which is what I am always looking for. Not just for myself, but my young son as well who will not be getting a caffeinated drink. The only thing I really wish most tea places had were kids sizes! Instead my son and I have to share a drink because I am not buying a 4 year old his own full size boba drink. So technically I would spend more money there if I could buy myself a full size and him a kids size. Oh well, hope to see more kids sizes in the future. Otherwise the drinks are delicious“

“I don’t typically venture to new spots for Poke but since I was in the area I decided to give Bay Poke a try. I wasn’t expecting much since i’ve been disappointed by most poke spots whether it be quality of the fish or flavors. I was happily mistaken as the poke was amazing. I would definitely get it again if i’m nearby and recommend others to try.“

“Not sure why this place has so many bad reviews. I just encountered the sweetest lady who let me try my drink before she sealed it because I was concerned about it being too sweet. I got a mango jasmine tea with 0 sugar and she waited for me to taste it before adding more sugar. What a gem! The tea was also very yummy, with fresh mango purée. I would return for sure.“

“One of our favorite spots for boba - simply because of the Honeydew option. So good and very few places have it currently and this is our now go to spot each time! “Please bring back the Longjin cheese cap tea!

The Longjin cheese cap tea is delicious and is the low caffeine tea option I need. I was planning come back long term just for this drink.

But I discovered recently that it's no longer on the menu. This would have been a five star review for the Longjin tea alone.

I would highly recommend others to try the Longjin tea if/when it is back for it strikes a perfect balance of tea flavor, bouquet and caffeine.“

“Ordered a standard milk tea with %50 sugar. The boba balls are cooked well, if a little firm. However the milk tea itself is watered down.

Edit: I just found out the milk tea is nondairy, so actually it tastes pretty good for not having milk“

“Oho the new owner is very helpful and friendly. I went here after a late lunch for a chocolate fix and they were out of the two drinks I was interested in. So Oho had them make a chocolate drink for me to test it out. This is what I got (they don’t have a name for it yet), but it was really good.
Oho mentioned that they will be remodelling soon and adding new items to the menu, so I look forward to coming back when that happens.

“It’s one of my favorite shave ice forever. But we tried Boba Tea this time, a little bit disappointed. It looks like they don’t have enough employees, I had to wait 1 hour and 40mins. However, the tea was not tasty as their shave ice, and the Boba was over cook. My boy loves Boba and always orders double. Unfortunately, he didn’t like their Boba at all.
Still will come, but no more Boba Tea here.“
