“Regardless of how many new boba places will open up, TP Tea will always have a soft spot in my heart. My first TP Tea experience happened at their Cupertino storefront and I remember how crazy and wild the line was for that grand opening. It’s crazy to think there’s over 5 locations for the Bay Area now. Woohoo!! Now, onto the drinks! I am a HUUUUGE fan of their wintermelon Tieguanyin tea. I know, it’s a simple drink that’s really hard to mess up, but for some reason, the way it’s brewed at TP Tea reigns supreme in my eyes. I also like the touch of Tieguanyin tea. Fun fact: I never knew or heard of Tieguanyin until coming across TP Tea! If you like a blend of aromatic tea notes with a hint of sweetness from wintermelon, I cannot recommend this drink enough. However, if you’re in the mood for a milk tea, I highly recommend the strawberry milk tea! It has a nice blend of milk and fragrant tea, with the acidity and sweetness of REAL strawberries. And if you really wanted to make any drink a winner, you’re going to want to add QQ noodles in your drink! I don’t know what makes it so good, but it’s definitely chewy and fun to have in your drink. “I had a good experience at this small specialty tea shop. Very clean and they have a good decor. Same Plaza as taiko, AJ Restaurant, Sunmerry. Their menu had something for everyone. I got a grapefruit soda that was pretty refreshing. I went during a time when it was very slow, but very nice for taking pictures or enjoying the quiet time. “Right after the Sanrio store, we came here for drinks. They had a few specials. Buy 6 drinks, get 1 free. Buy 1, get the same drink for $1. Or buy a drink and pay x for dessert.

I wanted two different drinks so none of those deals worked for us. I ended up with Uji Matcha Milk Tea and it was so bold, strong, and earthy. I loved it. Kept me wired all day.

The kiddo got strawberry yogurt and she loved it. We loved it too. It was fruit creamy and refreshing.“

“Visited this place by recommendation from a friend. It’s tucked away in the corner of Irvine Village Plaza, where there’s some decent parking available. The shop is small but has a cozy ambiance with a good amount of seating inside and outside, making it a nice spot to hang out.

I tried their oolong milk tea, and it was smooth and flavorful, with the boba having a nice chewy texture. The service is generally fast, but during peak hours, it can be a bit slower. “This shop has teas, little bites and ice cream. Came for the bobo tea and ordered a guava match latte. They use real milk here, but have non dairy option. The matcha guava was a nice blend and with boba hit the spot. I ordered it with 0 sugar and for me it was sweet enough already.
I need to come back and try the ice cream one day.“

“I have been here a few times, and my go-to is the snow strawberry lulu with boba. It has been consistent in its flavor. On my last visit, Melvin was accommodating and quickly resolved our issue even while the store was busy. I can vouch for their excellent customer service :)“

“Red straw is actually great. High quality ingredients and most importantly, MANY decaf options, which is what I am always looking for. Not just for myself, but my young son as well who will not be getting a caffeinated drink. The only thing I really wish most tea places had were kids sizes! Instead my son and I have to share a drink because I am not buying a 4 year old his own full size boba drink. So technically I would spend more money there if I could buy myself a full size and him a kids size. Oh well, hope to see more kids sizes in the future. Otherwise the drinks are delicious“

“I get the Strawberry fluffy matcha every time. It's so delicious! They usually have maybe just one employee but it's still fairly quick service unless someone gets a larger order. There's no place to sit, it's just grab and go.“

“This is my first time there. I ordered the poke, salmon only, with greens and no rice, mini size(?) There's plenty of salmon, it comes with my favorite seaweed. I was surprised how good it was. Parking is usually very scarce during lunch. I don't remember seeing seating inside as it is a very small place. Again, seating outside is for all the restaurants in the center. It may be hard to find a table. Definitely going back again.“

“Ordered a standard milk tea with %50 sugar. The boba balls are cooked well, if a little firm. However the milk tea itself is watered down.

Edit: I just found out the milk tea is nondairy, so actually it tastes pretty good for not having milk“

“Oho the new owner is very helpful and friendly. I went here after a late lunch for a chocolate fix and they were out of the two drinks I was interested in. So Oho had them make a chocolate drink for me to test it out. This is what I got (they don’t have a name for it yet), but it was really good.
Oho mentioned that they will be remodelling soon and adding new items to the menu, so I look forward to coming back when that happens.

“It’s one of my favorite shave ice forever. But we tried Boba Tea this time, a little bit disappointed. It looks like they don’t have enough employees, I had to wait 1 hour and 40mins. However, the tea was not tasty as their shave ice, and the Boba was over cook. My boy loves Boba and always orders double. Unfortunately, he didn’t like their Boba at all.
Still will come, but no more Boba Tea here.“
