If you’re in the area do stop by! He gets his seafood fresh multiple times a week and uses a fusion of Cajun and Vietnamese flavors for the food.“

“Pretty nice Sichuan restaurant at the mall. The food definitely stacks up to the competition. The sauerkraut fish was a must order and the fish tasted very fresh, the sauerkraut was crunchy and the soup was perfect. You also get to choose your sides for the sauerkraut fish and we opted for potato noodles, which turned out great as it soaked up the juices. The Chongqing chicken was good fried crunchiness. It could have been spicier, but was a good dish to complement the rice. Our little one opted for the tomato noodles with chicken wings and it tasted pretty good for a kid’s meal, not like something pre-made. The appetizer platter was just okay. While the wings were yummy, the fries were kind of weak and the third item was some sort of fried pork which was bland and soggy. Probably the coolest part of the experience was they had a convertible high chair for the booth seats which made it super convenient to seat the little one on the inside of the booth. The service was okay, as it seemed like there were too many service staff standing around in one area and they often looked confused as who to attend to. Overall our meal was yummy and we’d return.“

“One of the best seafood places i have been to. Excellent service and at very affordable prices. The place has been kept squeaky clean by the friendly staff. I ordered the grilled wild rockfish which came with 2 sides. It was delicious. I needed a box to take home. I will be back for sure.“

“Honestly, it’s so many things to say about this restaurant like the service is fast. It’s great Phillip ! a friend of mine who’s been working there for years is an amazing person. He’s great he’s reliable. The restaurant is not too big but they do offer indoor and outdoor seating if available I love sitting outside because there’s nothing better than just being in the sun eating your seafood but it’s also comfortable. They don’t forget about you. They’re constantly checking on you. I’m so obsessed with King Crawfish !. My sister and I come probably two or three times a month my best friend and I were actually their first post on Instagram and I love this is establishment.“

“The food was excellent. The food far surpasses the service. Let's begin with the Buffalo shrimp, which were perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. An excellent take on wings seafood style. The seafood caldon especal was full of flavor, perfectly spices even though it has jalapeño in it bring back a sense of being on the beach. The Capechana was high quality and the delicious. The chef not only an excellent cook but took part of the service. The Michelada base alone is memorable and wanted to buy a gallon of it. The waitress was professional but needs to elevate her service skills, one attention to the client was very slow, there was no effort to explain the menu, little initiative to attend out table.“

“I have been to Off the Hook several times. Each time with different friends and we have always had a good experience. The food is very good and fresh, the portions are reasonable (not too large, not too small) service is courteous.“

“One of the best garlic fish in LA County, Orange, Riverside, etc…. Delicious flavor and great size. Accompanied by salad and French fries; There is an option of beans and rice too. The place is very clean and tidy. The menu options are spectacular and I will surely return to try more. The service is very good too. 2025: We have been coming here for breakfast and lunch. The steamed buns are so addictive! I love everything I have tried so far.
Plenty of parking, napkins are stored in a drawer under table top. The Middle section Seatings are very nice.
Steamed buns, dumplings and noodles were so good. The cold chicken and soup were blend. Gnats often found hovering over the sauce station. Bathroom generally are clean.
Servers were doing their best but there’s room for improvement. On one occasion four servers were running around like chicken with no heads for less than 30 diners. I’ve seen more efficient servers elsewhere.
The pricy dinner menu is not enticing, the seafood is steamed together so some can be over or under cooked. I don’t see the price hyped up compared to steaming them at home at $68-$88 pp.
I’m leaving this long comments in the hopes that this restaurant can survive because the buns, dumplings are exceptionally good!!“

“Used love this place and would come here often. Their fish 🐟 tacos 🌮 are delicious 😋 but it seems they have changed a bit.
The quality was definitely better before, maybe a different cook? Not sure. They're still good but not as they used to be. Service is always good, the staff are friendly and attentive. I've had their campechana and it's so good! Definitely recommended as well as their tostadas de camarón and pescado“

“I recently tried Chubby Skewers and overall had a pretty good experience. They have a great selection of meats, and at $1.20 per skewer, it’s easy to try a variety without spending too much.

That said, some of the meats were a bit on the tougher side, which took away from the experience a little. But not everything was a miss, the grilled oysters and scallops were definitely highlights and tasted really good.

I also liked that you can order from the menu if you want something more than skewers. Overall, it’s a solid spot if you’re looking for variety at a reasonable price, with a few standout items worth coming back for.“

“ALWAYS CHECK your pick up order. Almost every time we order to go there's something missing, an item is wrong, and your condiments aren't correct. We just did a pick up and got a taco we didn't order, that we returned. The condiments were incorrect. The food is good but they need to work on their pick up order system.“
