“Jamul is a little outside of my service area as a plumber, but I found myself there helping a friend with his home. On the drive home, I was hungry and thrilled to discover a Filippis Pizza on Campo Rd. I love their cheese pizza and had to stop in for a late lunch. It’s a nice place, similar to the Escondido location near me, with the Chianti bottles hanging throughout the dining room room. The staff was friendly and Amanda seated me right away and took good care of me. The cheese pizza was delicious like always. Knowing that Filippis here in Jamul, I think I will be more willing to schedule appointments out here😁“

“We eat the pizza and salad at least once a week. The prices are reasonable and the food is great. But let's talk about the staff. Sharpel (not sure I spelled it correctly) this guy remembers every order we've placed. He has such an bright smile. Gunna miss this place when we move back to Arizona. Great job pizza people 🤗“

“Where do I begin!? Bambino's deserves so much support from us in Chula Vista! Because Bambino's truly cares about their community! They generously donated to our local, essential workers during the pandemic...on numerous occasions. The owner Wally & son Louis are the kindest people and hold such high values on running their business. The customer service & food quality is unmatched! Bambino's provided us pizza at Mater Dei Catholic High School football games for the past 5 games!! We plan to continue the partnership as they are so accommodating & easy to work with! “Probably the best pizza spot in town! I've tried Jerry's for lunch on five occasions now, and each time has been a home run. Great food and great service. I have tried the Pepperoni, Supreme, Meat Lover, PBJ, and Hawaiian pizzas and I have not been dissapointed. I also tried their Pastrami sub, it was great but slighty overpriced IMO. Their 2 slices and a drink for $10 is a good deal, I just wish they displayed more options. If you're nearby, this should definitely be your go-to spot. Staff here is always friendly and easy to talk to. Knowing you're supporting a small business is a huge plus as well.
Only downside is I'll probably eat way more pizza than I should for lunch now😅

“I'm looking at the low reviews and like I always say, everyone has their own opinion. I on the other hand feel like this place was amazing, I was last minute on a budget celebrating my son's 5th birthday, took him and his friends to jump around, they had an amazing time but you can tell we were all starving, I first had seen another pizza place but somehow someway, fait pull me towards this pizza place....best decision of my life, I called to ask if there was space for 8, right away they said yes, we come in starving we ask for what the gentleman suggested.....the meat lovers, I said ok, sounds great, then he said what other would you like, and I didn't know their. Motto is buy one get one free....ooohhh, so I ordered the Hawaiian pizza to put them to the rest..... Nooooo Maaaanches!!!! Amazing!!!! We had ordered two XL pizzas y todas se acabo, 4 kids, 4 Adults, extremely happy.....I suggest you eat it fresh there.....they definitely have their touch, my son was the happiest ever!!! Gracias!!!“

“Pizza was okay. Too much sauce for me. It’s subjective. This review is mostly on customer service. We just left a pizza place (the pizza standard) that had very rude customer service so when we came here, the girl that was taking our order was very friendly and was helpful in getting us a pizza we want etc. she was pleasant and a total opposite of what we experienced just ten minutes before at the other place. Also, the scratchers are fun. And the place and bathroom looks clean. So glad it doesn’t smell like fabuloso.“

“Called the location to specify special sauce request, they asked for my name to make sure they got it right. I’m a former Godfather’s employee back when it was a national pizza chain, and I’m grateful for the consistency of their quality product today. The crust is different, but the toppings and the flavor remains.“

“We went a bit late around 9 and everyone was so nice and amazing food .wings were amazing . Pizza on point . The salad bar was stocked and filled . Very clean . The workers were so friendly also they even gave my daughter a little stuffed whale it was so adorable . They didnt care that she was running around enjoying maybe because we where the only ones there expect one other family but over all amazing I dont leave review but I had to for this place 🥰“

“Had such a great dinner tonight at Mediterraneo in Alpine! We started with a few appetizers and honestly...they were the highlight. The MELENZANE RIPIENE (eggplant stuffed with ricotta, parmesan, and cherry tomatoes) was incredible: rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The calamari fritti was crispy and delicious, and the TONNO ASIATICO (seared ahi tuna with sweet chili glaze, ginger, teriyaki, and wasabi) was a huge hit at the table. We also had to try their house-made mozzarella sticks, don't skip these...the cheese pull alone is worth it For the mains, we had the CAPELLINI ALLA CHECCA and the RIGATONI ALLA NORMA, and both were fantastic. You can really taste the difference, the pasta is imported from Italy, and it shows in the texture and flavor. My husband also ordered the margherita pizza and said it's the best he's ever had, which says a lot! The space itself is big, welcoming, and super versatile. There's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, plus a large bar with a full menu. We tried a couple drinks from their spring menu: the pistachio espresso martini and the berry margarita both were so fun and tasty. The staff was also incredibly friendly and attentive, which really made the whole experience even better. Bonus: they have a great family-friendly area with arcade games and a pool table, which makes it perfect whether you're going out as a couple or with a group. Definitely a spot we'll be coming back to!“

“The crust is floppy like a fish out of water, Not crispy at all. Jalapeños are spicy so that's nice. If you want a sad floppy slice of pizza, this is your place. I was so disappointed, I fed this to my dog and ordered another pizza from elsewhere. Step your game up. For the price you could get lil Ceasars. I recommend you get traditional ovens, no chain convier crap, get premium quality ingredients, and you'll do better.“
