“Love coming here! The staff for the most part is always friendly (ok 9 times out of 10, the staff is usually friendly). They make your sub how you tell them to make it. Oh and let me get started on the manager, I dont know his name but he is awesome! He knows how to treat his regular customers! It makes you feel good when you spend your hard earned cash in a place where they really appreciate your business!! If I could give this place 10 stars, I would!!! :)“

“So we went twice. The first time we were literally stacked. Doubled meat, doubled spicy pickles - insanely good. Second time, it was good but there was an obvious language barrier b/c the second sandwich didn’t look anything like the one in this photo. But overall, if you get a person that understands what double up means, this place is a have to have as far as grilled cheeses go. The buffalo chicken fries (had the ranch been remembered in the Togo bag) are worth a try!“

“Tonight (6/24/24) my mother came in to order some sandwiches for me, my husband and her, my husband can’t eat gluten so he always gets their gluten free bread when ordering, well my mom called and told me that when she asked for the GF bread the woman working started to clean off all the counters and equipment for about 15 minutes she said she scrubbed and cleaned it all including the slicer as to reduce the amount of cross contamination from the regular bread, even tho she had a small line she still took the time without being asked to do that, I wish I was there to thank her for that because no else ever at any location we have purchased from has taken the time to make sure his sandwich was ok to the best of their abilities to eat, it was extremely kind of her I don’t know her name but if that was you tonight THANK YOU! You need a raise!“

“Good little sandwich spot in santee I will order online and pick up usually I get the Italian sub its pretty good and you do get a really good sized sandwich for a good price the workers are always nice the restaurant always looks clean they do have a bar area with beers on tap this place is usually pretty busy so you should order online I only knock a star because 1 out of like the 10 times I went here the sandwich had barely any meat but it only happened one time all other times good sandwich“

They got through 15 or so people in under 5 minutes I was actually amazed. The sandwiches are top quality and the bread is always extremely fresh. This Jersey Mike's is a definite go to.“

“I lived in Mission Beach yrs ago & in Old Mission was a Jersery Sub Shop & I have looked & looked all over S.D. for one that would be as good & I finally found Jersery Mikes. The first one I went to was in Merritta the other side of Temecula then when I came back to El Cajon I found the one on Broadway. haven't tried the one in Rancho S.D. yet ,I'm sure going to next time I'm over that way. “I discovered that the #16 Chicken Philly can be customized to replicate the chicken sandwiches I used to get at a local Filipino-owned sandwich place where I grew up.

Lately, I've been having the staff at this store make it, and it's been incredible each time.

It's the #16 Chicken Philly, no pepper strips, add bell peppers and mushrooms, add mayo and mustard, no white American cheese, add provolone, extra dark toast on the bread.“

“It was as ok as most any other subway. I wanted them to make me an Italian sub. Like a default intalian, but they kept asking what I wanted on it. I just said. “We ordered multiple sandwiches for 2 nearby events. We stopped in to order the night before each. Dominique helped us, and was a delight! So personable and helpful. She wasn't there for the first days pick up. There were a couple glitches for that pick up, the order wasn't ready, they weren't picking up the phone, then gave us a ball of napkins out of the dispenser, verses a stack we could sit next to the sandwiches and no forks to use in the vegetables we ordered on the side. BUT we still came in to order 3x the amount for the 2nd days order, and Dominique fixed all that for the 2nd day pick up. Perfect!! She made everything easy.“
