Chef has decades of global experience and it showed in the flavors and the cooking. We had paneer tikka, daal makhani and ordered two thalis and loved the ability to choose our lentils and curry of choice. The daal makhani was heavenly. The paneer was mind blowing. The breads were soft, freshly made and very filling. We had kheer and rasmalai for dessert and everything was just perfect. Strongly recommend. Service was excellent.“

“On our last day in California, we decided to travel to quaint Sausalito for breakfast and a stroll along the seashore. Researching best places to eat, this cafe came up online. We’re glad we stopped. While we’ve noticed that most of the restaurants in this area are small, the Lighthouse Cafe made up for its size with their delicious food and great service! The staff is very attentive, immediately seating you, serving your beverage and taking your order. We sat at the breakfast bar and watched the food preparation in action. Hats off to the chef’s!! “The setting was nice ,but they could not seat us inside or on the porch. We were seated in a tent area outside and it was out of the sun and cold. We made a few trips to the car for jackets. The food was ok. My daughter got two fish tacos and they were great. My husband got the fish sandwich and it was nothing special. The prices were high for what we received. We are just passing through and aren't aware if the pricing is to be expected for the area. In my opinion this place is trying to be higher end craft food realm but hitting more in the run of the mill area.Kid-friendliness: They do have a kid menu.“

“Good food, but not as good as I remember. Everything was well made, but I wasn't a fan of the seafood platter. It tasted very gamey. We got 2 apps, the garlic bread and the ceaser salad. Both were good. I got the seafood platter, and my girlfriend got the beef stroganoff, the special of the night. I think they should move it to the main menu as it was perfectly cooked and the flavors were immaculate. Nothing was overpowering, and the beef was tender. We also got the creme brulee and the apple pie. Both were good, but I was hoping for a crisper crust on the apple pie. Service was amazing.“

There is lots to explore on a menu that highlights fresh ingredients including organic produce. “A staple of tiburon. A place that has phenomenal views, amazing drinks and delicious food. Def a must when in the area. Tried two of their cocktails - the one with the jalapeño was def amazing then I went with the Negroni. Also ordered the lobster roll which was so good. The buttered bread was def perfection. The clam chowder..bc duh. And also tried the blue cheese garlic bread which was also really good! Sam's def doesn't disappoint.“

Feels like a locals joint with comfort food and great wine.They also have live music (on select nights).We started with the minestrone soup and house made focaccia. Both were great.Our entrees were the house made gnocchi, lasagne, spaghetti and risotto. We also ordered side of Brussel sprouts that also had pancetta and sweet potatoes. They were the best thing on the table. Delicious.All of our dishes were lovely. The only drawback was the risotto is not a traditional one. Did not have the creaminess we are used to. “With patio and outdoor seating, this taqueria is a short bike ride or walk from the ferry. The service was excellent, friendly waitstaff bilingual in Spanish and English. We got the three taco special and the shrimp quesadilla. Both of us loved the quesadilla and my friend preferred the carne asada tacos whereas I like the Baja tacos best. They bring out a little sauce platter with crema too which is nice. Without the salsa the tacos were not heavily seasoned but the salsa was good and spicy. Between the two of us it was about $25/person plus tip, so this is definitely more of a sit down and have a pleasant meal kind of taco shop with a Sausalito vibe. They had a chile relleno special with crab meat but it was $38 so I held back. I would come back and try more seafood items.“

“At last! A local restaurant with several vegan options for brunch. Today I had a tofu salad with a lot of fresh and tasty veggies and nuts and it was delicious. Next time I will try their tofu scramble and perhaps the buckwheat pancakes with lingonberries (if they are egg free). Also the freshly squeezed grapefruit was large and actually freshly squeezed on the spot. Thumbs up Salt and Pepper.“

I'm no expert on seafood, but I enjoyed the crab sandwich and beer on Tuesday, and returned on Thursday for the lobster roll, and some raw oysters. Regrettably, one of the oysters was a bit off; I accept this as a risk with any raw seafood. For a SF tourist venue, the prices are reasonable, and there are a few non-seafood items on the menu, for picky eaters. The proprietors hale from Hong Kong, and friendly and engaging when they aren't too busy. I'd gladly return on a future visit to the area.Parking: It's Fisherman's Wharf; you should plan to arrive on foot.“

“The food I received was cold. The food was delicious. They did make a mistake with my friends order due to a mix up with gluten free but remedies it within about 5-7 minutes. Given we were there for a bit before getting the food I did not make a fuss about the meal being cold.“

“I've been wanting to come to The Stinking Rose since I was little. Garlic is one of my favorite things ever, truthfully. I'm a certified garlic girl. My dining experience here was nice! The restaurant has a nice theme to it, creating a fun vibe for you and your party. Different parts of the restaurant have different styles, I think that's super cute. My party opted to sitting outside though. Upon being seated we were helped rather promptly. 3 servers kept checking in on us throughout our dinner, and they all were so helpful! Very kind and funny, added to the energy of the establishment. Ok now for what you are looking for, the food! Bagna Calda: 5/5 Garlic roasting in a hot tub of oil, literally. At least 30 cloves of garlic was served to us, roasting in a dish of olive oil. It was delish, what could go wrong with something like this?! It's served with 2 small rolls of bread, so I'd recommend getting an additional load of acme bread or even go for some cheese bread! Burrata Prosciutto: 4/5 Huge fan of burrata so had to get this. It's served with thin slices of prosciutto, an arugula salad with balsamic and garlic, as well as 2 crostini. Tasted good but I'd expect an actual garlic flavor from this dish. The restaurant has a vampire tax, meaning the dish has no garlic. This was not labeled with that so I was disappointed to not have that garlicky kick. Also, I wish the angular was dressed better, it was basically plain with a slight olive oil flavor, not even balsamic! Yummy dish, but some expect it to be garlic forward. Count Vlad Garlic Ribeye: 3.5/5 Tasty, however it was lacking garlic again. Steak was just your ordinary ribeye and the potatoes it was served with weren't too garlicky either. I mainly tasted that sweet yukon gold flavor, nothing else. I liked their texture, had to add pepper and they tasted better. The steak was cooked great, a nice medium rare. I wish the fat was able to render better and again, wished for more garlic!! This was your ordinary steak meal you'd find anywhere, which I guess isn't a bad thing haha! Short Rib Ravioli is Garlic Relish Sauce: 4.5/5 Had a little taste of this, soooo tasty! The ravioli were nice and cooked well, and the sauce complimented it perfectly. The only knocker was I found the filling of the ravioli to be a little too salty. The richness of the sauce helped cut this but if I was at home I'd add a squeeze of lemon to cut that salt. So good nonetheless! Overall, The Stinking Rose did not disappoint. It's a fun spot to hit up on your own, for a date, or for a party! I am interested in going back to try a few other dishes on the menu. Totally stop by this iconic restaurant!“

“While visiting Fisherman's Wharf , we were looking to sample some seafood and landed in Sabella & La Torre.Although the restaurant looks small, there is plenty of seating. Indoor has an old school vibe, with a small bar and lots of booths.The food was good, with some items being better than others. The calamari and lobster roll were great. The fish and chips were cooked well, but could have used more spice in the batter. The crab cakes and clam chowder bowl were good too.The place was clean and the staff extremely friendly. Prices are on the higher side, but that's expected when you visit a seafood restaurant on Fisherman's Wharf.“

“Very cute little marina. Off the beaten path, the drive out there is super mysterious and I thought we were lost, maybe going to end up in some murder mystery. But it was sunny and full of spring flowers and great music. Definitely worth an adventure.“

“We booked Mi Casa Cafe for my husband's 50th birthday party this weekend. We had about 60 people and wanted to provide tacos/burritos as well as dancing. Two staff from Mi Casa showed up on time when they said they would be there (4:30pm for a 7:00pm start), were a bit early even, and got going on the setup. It's a great setup with a little menu station, pork on a spit, chicken, beef, tacos or quesadillas, all the fillings (including pineapple to go with the pork!) and chips & salsa. So delicious. This is my second time enjoying their catering and first time booking them. They were the ONLY vendor (bartender, DJ, photo booth) that showed up when they said they would and that really gave me peace of mind as I was rushing around and decorating. Do note that the setup correspondence was largely on email and there was no contract, so I placed a lot of trust that they would show up, but they always responded quickly and since I had been at another party where they delivered high quality, I went ahead and trusted that it would be okay....and it was....and they were the ONLY ones who delivered when they said they would when I had contracts with other vendors...so believe them when they say they'll be there. EVERYONE was talking about how good the tacos/food were and I know some people took their business card for future events! They really delivered a fantastic experience and I, along with my guests, highly recommend them.“

“Wow! this is a great place to eat. Its' menu is packed with flavorful dishes. Don't sleep on the fish and chips. It is anything but basic. Beso is also a great place for outdoor dinning. The restaurant has frequently won the Taste of Marin Award. After you eat there you will see why. Oh, I also hear that they have a good wine selection. When you go don't forget to say hello to the owner. Yes it is one of those places where you are welcomed as if it is someone's home to sit down and sit a spell to visit for awhile.“

The atmosphere is very cosy, and they had tea with honey which I really enjoyed. They have booths and bar seating, and marble accents which makes for a nice atmosphere. I had the pesto farro which was really tasty. My dad had a French dish with chicken and vegetables in broth that was really beautiful. I ate his carrots. “We had a great experience here for lunch! We were looking for clam chowder and asked a local shopkeeper for a recommendation. Seafood Peddler it is! They were able to seat us immediately in the little alcove on the second floor with a lovely view of the harbor. We had their lunch bowl of clam chowder, lobster bisque, and a few lobster rolls around our table. We really enjoyed the soups, and the sandwiches were stacked with lobster. Fries were great! Prices for the rolls were a bit steep, but to be expected. Our service was good - I loved how they pour the soup into the bowl at your table so it stays hot. Food came out crazy fast, which made for more time to explore!“
