“I finally had the opportunity to go to Chef Mei Lin’s restaurant creation, daybird! Although she’s stepped away from the day-to-day, I still needed to try and I’m glad I did! The Sichuan Hot Chicken Sando was great!! I got mine as a mild-level spice but even with that there’s still some heat. The fries are a must too and you have to go with the milk tea or the mango lemonade. If I lived here, I’d be back!! Big portions of chicken.“

“As a Regular here, I’m surprised I have not reviewed this fine established yet! My family and I literally eat from this location ONCE A WEEK! It’s either via DoorDash or GrubHub who ever offers the most Discount that week ;) unless I’m in the area I’ll pick it up. “I discovered this place through a YouTuber’s recommendation and I’m really glad I tried it. It was my first visit, and while it’s easy to miss since there’s no sign outside, I had no trouble finding it.

We were greeted right away, ordering was simple, and the food was ready in about 10–15 minutes. The chicken was the highlight—flavorful, juicy, and very filling. The sides (sweet potato fries and coleslaw) were just okay; the fries were a bit soggy when we got home and the coleslaw was slightly too tangy for our taste.

Overall, the chicken alone makes it worth a visit. I’d definitely recommend it!“

Parking: If you don't see a spot to park in front, just park in the back. You enter the parking lot on the west side of the building. There's always an empty parking spot in back, but not as shaded.“

There was a good amount of glaze on each piece and the batter was still nice and crunchy even though we had it 30 minutes after picking it up from the store. I ordered the Feel Crunch Wings and Soy Garlic Wings. Both were really good! The Feel Crunch Wings were nice and crispy with a satisfying crunch, while the Soy Garlic Wings had that savory, slightly sweet garlic flavor that makes you keep reaching for another piece. I also liked that the wings stayed crispy even after bringing them home.

But what really stood out was the lady working at the counter. She was extremely friendly, polite, and helpful. Even though this was just a pickup order, she made me feel welcomed and provided genuinely great customer service. Sometimes it’s the small interactions that leave the biggest impression, and she definitely deserves to be recognized!

“Absolutely amazing. After a disappoint go at the Mancoras peruivian cuisine on main, I found this place in walking distance. Gave it a shot and the chicken is amazing. The #1 recommendation is have is the #1 Chicken sandwich (white or dark meat) it's by far the best chicken sandwich I've had. Easily blowing Raising Canes and all other chicken sandwich establishments out of the park. The balance between each ingredient was spot on and I could easily devour multiple of these in one sitting due to how good it is. 100% recommend this place.

Side note, for any people planning to eat here. Order ahead of time (sometimes it can take 30+ minutes) and avoid the wraps, go for the chicken on the bun instead. It's vastly superior because the wraps seem to be poorly constructed. The wraps seem to be overflowing with sauce which makes the wrap soft and weak so its, hard to hold let alone eat, without it breaking apart in your hands“
