“Always the best service from start to finish. The chemistry between the servers is top tier. Food is always great. I rotate between the Crab&Crawfish Cake Benedict and a few others but no matter what I always get the Jurassic Pork or Asiago Chicken Fennel as a side! The fresh squeezed orange juice is my favorite. They also have a great drink menu for those brunch days!“

“I am sorry that I do not recall our server's name. He was exceptional in his knowledge of wine, food pairing, and his recommendations were EXQUISITE. Lean, handsome, gentleman with short brown curly hair. Excellent service all around. I arrived before my date. He offered me a delicious brut. He paid attention to detail, offered suggestions at the precise time, and followed up with care. I had the steak and frites off the bar menu. Complimented well with the garlic aioli for the fries, a chimmichurri, and a demi glaze for the tender steak. My date had the scallops. He suggested the perfect wine pairings. I had the seghesio Zin. He had the sonoma cutrer chardonnay. The dessert was a creamy cheesecake. All cooked and prepared to perfection.

Update*** came back from impromptu stop to watch the drone show for the 4th and enjoyed the steak and frites at the bar. Maybe even better than the first time with more chimichurri :) service at the bar was phenomenal and all the staff were gracious and friendly.“

“Karaage Rice Bowl was good for the price. Although more expensive than other on campus options, the chicken was juicy and cooked perfectly and overall the dish was very balanced. Portion was very good, even for someone who eats a lot. Although it's not the best I've ever had, certainly worthwhile to stop by.“

“Pleasant and cozy, if a bit small. Service can be a bit slow due to the number of orders but that's to be expected from the only pure vegan place on the UCSD campus. The food is good and flavorful. I don't really recommend the desserts since they're a little mediocre but they're still solid if you really need a sweet.

Vegetarian options: Not just vegetarian but all vegan. No meat or dairy at all and it's still really good.“

“Good doesn't do justice to this restaurant. Located in the Empress Hotel in La Jolla, we decided to try it with friends on arrival, as we were tired. We had expected an average hotel restuarant. Boy were we wrong. Just to give this some context, we live in Bend,OR, where we eat out very frequently. We moved there from San Diego 5 years ago, and had lived in San Diego for 40 years... but never went to this restaurant. That was our loss. Every staff member was impeccably trained, pleasant, and helpful. The meal was very good, and we had the cherries jubilee for desert as a celebration with friends. Great meal. And one of the three that we had in the 10 days we were in San Diego. I had the filet for my last meal, and it was perfectly prepared. The linguini with clams was served the prior meal with clams in the shell, exceptionally fresh and with an excellent sauce. My wife said the wines were excellent as well. Don't miss this place. You will regret it.“

“Every thing was very tasty , the home made pasta was delicious .. good service - authentic Italian choices. A couple of food issues could be addressed; the chicken substituted for the veal piccata was very dry and tough . The bread served before dinner was also dry and cold , not warm and crunchy. It was not the usual crusty warm Italian bread we are used to in good Italian restaurants , and they didn't not serve it with olive oil , salt / pepper, we had to request it . Also the olive oil would be good if it was seasoned with garlic or if a dry seasoning was offered to season it . A very easy option . We had to ask for the salt and pepper for the bland olive oil. Small things can make a big difference !“

“My fiance and I ordered for a delivery from here last night. We ordered the Supreme Pizza which includes a variety of meat and veggies their garlic knots and a calzone like pizza bite. The Garlic Knot stuffed with cheese pepperoni and jalapeno was amazing! I'm really picky with bread dough and they had top-notch quality. Our pizza tasted fresh and tasty. A little spicy too! Quality is great I was very pleased. And it traveled well! 10 and out of 10 great pizza spot“

“We were celebrating my fiancés birthday and our server Molly was delightful. All of her recommendations were spot on. We don’t drink and she suggested the best tasting mocktails. The entrees and dessert were absolutely delicious. The view over looking the cove was romantic. Overall Molly made this an unforgettable experience and we will definitely be coming back.“

“I have worked and eaten in hospital and medical center complexes for more than 30 years, and this place has the best food and service of any such place by far. The menu is far-ranging, including great salads, sandwiches, wraps, burritos, pizzas, pasta, soups, smoothies, coffee, and more. They are always busy because employees and patients come from all the hospitals to eat here, but they are unfailingly professional, friendly, and fast. Food is served hot with good quality ingredients. Try the chipotle chicken rice bowl, penne bolognese, turkey wrap, or a tuna salad sandwich on wheat. I have eaten lunch here most days since the building opened new (seven years ago), and everything I've had is honestly good. Not your typical hospital cafeteria food! The staff is impressively hard working and remembers everyone's names and special orders, always working to provide whatever you want. Give them all raises, for goodness sake! Gotta go now. My black bean chili and strawberry banana smoothie await. ?“

“I live close to the Lot and we've benn here many times but never left a review and they deserve one. The Lot is a 'Lot' more than a movie theater, they have GREAT food, cocktails, events and music. It is a but higher price than a regular movie place but this is so much better.“

“Dog friendly!! There is a gorgeous outdoor patio that is dog friendly!! There are darling lights and such a fun atmosphere in the restaurant. Between the pasta and the pizza it all left us feeling happy and full! I highly recommend the Arugula and Pear Pizza! That was the tables favorite!I will say, when we arrived we were starving and hoping for a little complimentary bread basket that never came. Just an extra touch, but some little complimentary table snacks would be a nice touch for such a nice place! Other than that we had a fabulous experience!“
