“The most authentic Hawaii experience you can find outside of Hawaii! Not only was the storefront decorated with Hawaii themed memorabilia that made me feel at home but the service and food was A+We ordered two spam musubi ( a Hawaii classic) the Teri Mix Plate and Seafood Mix Plate.First off, everything is made to order NO food is sitting around and the food is FRESH!All the food was excellent and had amazing flavor reminding me of home! The spam musubi and Mac salad were amazing and it felt like I was still in Hawaii!I 1000% recommend this restaurant and you should definitely stop by when coming to Disneyland!P.S. “Today I was in search for Hawaiian barbecue. I usually go to the loft but today I wanted to try something new and I found this place on yelp. Oh my God, this place was amazing. I got the Hawaiian style poke and seriously so bomb and so fresh. I also got the big beef plate with a short rib for my wife. She fell in love with his place and said we have to go every week now. “I stopped coming here a couple months ago because of the rude cashier and decided to order today. I called to make an order to go and the same cashier Anna answered. She put me on hold and after a minute I heard it hang up, after she left the line busy because it wouldn’t even ring. It’s always the same girl giving us terrible service but that was just the cherry on top. The younger guy cashier was there when I pulled up and honestly saved it he’s very nice otherwise I’d never come back here again. Everyone at my job that comes here said the same thing too.“

“This was my first time visiting this location & it was a great experience. The lady running the register was very sweet. She treated you like family. She took my order in a calm manner, with no rush or judgment. The food was great. The area looked clean, and there was plenty of seating available.

“It was good. I really enjoyed my poke bowl, and so did my asian mother who actualy doesn’t enjoy very much of anything not Chinese. My mother was kicking and screaming when I suggested the hanger. She was originally going to go somewhere else but I was very surprised when she brought a poke bowl back to our table. And she liked it. I ate a large, ate a half of a bowl, and brought the rest home. Put it in the fridge and took it out and just ate it and it was good! Some places the rice and other stuff isn’t good quality anymore, but nope this was just dandy. I got the brown rice, the salmon, albacore, spicy tuna, and octopus. I got most of everything. Got the asian sauce and the spicy mayo. I am accustomed to having poke bowls not as often but sometimes. But for my mother who I didn’t think would like it, to like it thats pretty good. It was her first time eating a poke bowl too.“

To comment on portuon its a scoop just like everywhere else, i did see reviews in portion, but they are good, dont let that stray you away from trying this place. I've had poke from all over and definet3worth the drive and worth the try.

“This place rocks, I go here generally every couple weeks if I can and the food is always delicious. The teriyaki beef bowl is what I get most often. The meat and rice are well cooked and their sauce is one of the best I’ve had. Their portions are pretty generous and sometimes enough to save for a small meal leftover. I also often get either the kalbi or beef ribs on the side and I love both of those too.
The second you walk in you know the place is legit, there’s the sweet smoke of great barbecue in the air and the people at the counter are always so nice, I’ve never had an issue with service. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone!“

They ate their whole plates and I only ate half, trying to save room for ice cream at Afters next door. I would say I enjoyed my plate except for the ground beef patties were tough. I wish they were more tender like burger patties at fast food restaurants, but the gravy was better than all of the other local Hawaiian style restaurants around since it tasted real and not from a can or dry mix taste like other places. If I had one negative view, it would be the price, $17 for the plate, but I guess it’s a sign of inflation in this economy.“
