There are two sizes: medium and large. The large is equivalent to an extra large you might find at other Pho places. You get to customize your bowl by selecting four cuts of meat out of 10 options. Having been to the other famous Pho places in OC, Pho 101 honestly has the most accessible dining experience for a comparably delicious broth. The space is large and the service is fast, meaning less to no wait in line. And you have the option to pay by cash or card (pay at the front).“

“This is my go to chicken pho spot. It’s not overly busy like their main location in little Saigon. The spicy chilli sauce they have is really good if your into that stuff and if you’re not feeling like pho you can order their fried chicken leg which is super crispy that is also served up with fried chicken skin which is addicting. “Everything was fresh and delicious! The broth was clean and didn't need any Sriracha or hoisin sauces to make it good. The combo fried rice was excellent, with all the meats fresh, crispy, and not greasy at all!! The Lao beef was cooked to perfection as ordered medium, and the dipping sauces were authentic and fresh. “Man, after a long, exhausting day at Knott's Berry Farm, Pho QT was a lifesaver. It was exactly the comfort food we were craving. The people there were so awesome—super friendly and accommodating from the minute we walked in. They were even able to make a smaller bowl of pho just for my son, which was perfect.
We got the Pho Dac Biet and the Pho Suon Bo, and both were delicious. The broth was rich and flavorful, and the meat was tender. Was it the best pho I ever had? No, but my family enjoyed it.“

“This place seriously delivered. We ordered the shrimp pho, beef vermicelli, a shrimp and veggie dish with rice, taro milk tea with jelly, fried egg rolls, and shrimp spring rolls. Everything was fantastic. The shrimp spring rolls were a bit on the smaller side, but still super fresh and tasty.

Customer service was warm and welcoming, and I really appreciated that they had gluten-free soy sauce for us gluten-free baddies 🙌

The space itself is tight. Tables are small and close together, but it added a kind of street-side charm. Felt like I got a mini taste of what dining in Vietnam might be like. Cozy, vibrant, and all about the food.

The only thing I didn’t love was the bathroom situation since you have to walk around the back to get to it. The location is also right next to a laundromat, so it’s not the most glamorous setting. But honestly, once the food hit the table, I didn’t care.

Its a mom and pop operation and the food seems home cooked.

Khoi is such a gem! The Vietnamese hotpot here is absolutely delicious, and the Tom Yum soup base is hands-down my favorite — the perfect balance of tangy, spicy, and comforting.
I also love that they offer Yakiniku-style cooking options with short ribs, shrimp, and pork — it’s fun, interactive, and everything tastes so fresh. On top of that, the variety of sauces is fantastic, giving you endless ways to customize every bite.

“After visiting the OC/LA area, we're on the way back to the Bay Area, we wanted to have some lunch before we go. Some of the restaurant closed on Monday, one our friends recommended this place for real excellent egg noodles soups, so we stopped by, it's right next to PLT the big VN shopping center.
There's no parking for this restaurant, the whole block has a few parking spots and there's parking on the PLT but always full. We had to park outside on a different shopping center.
The restaurant is small and simple, clean. The owner or the care taker seems to be extremely friendly and attentive sitting us on a table.
The menu has quite a few dishes, but we're concentrating on egg noodle soup for lunch so we ordered the special bowl of rice noodles instead of egg noodles. It's quite good, quite tasty with chinese crispy donuts.
We had a great lunch and the price is extremely inexpensive. Ready to drive home.“

“I’ve found myself coming to this spot many times whenever I’m in OC. It’s one of the few places where you can find a wide variety of authentic Vietnamese dishes beyond just pho, which, honestly, a lot of places still don’t get right.

I’ve tried more than six different dishes here, and every single one has been flavorful, delicious, and truly authentic. It tastes just like home.

Some of my favorites are the Bún Mắm, Bánh Hỏi Heo Quay, Bún Riêu, and Hủ Tiếu Mì Khô—all so good and packed with flavor. I don't recommend Bột Chiên tho!

Good service, delicious Com Tam, the Tau Hu Ky was crunchy as it should be, clean seats and tables (and plenty of seating), clean restrooms, fresh modern interior design, spacious parking, selectable options with your Com Tam and very affordable, and open late! They have hot tea as well which is a must have for me. The bonus for me was the 3 types of chilis on each table. Outstanding!“

“If you are looking for duck and noodle soup this is a good place for you. The noodle soup is tasty and relatively light, served with duck salad which is poached duck on top of a light tangy salad. You can choose the carbs in the soup: rice noodles, clear vermicelli, or rice.
I liked it a lot but given the limited menu make sure you go with people who like duck or chicken... this is a pretty limited menu. Service was great, fast, friendly.

“Since I returned from a trip to central Vietnam 4 years ago I’ve been chasing down a bowl of authentic cao lau. Living in San Francisco and Portland I can hardly get my hands on cao lau, so little Saigon has been a destination for me. This was my first and only required stop when I finally visited the area and it did not disappoint! The Cao Lao noodles were perfectly square and chewy, the broth herby and flavorful. The pea greens were also delicious. The lovely man who works and runs this with his wife was so friendly. I’ll be back!“

“The Tofu Spring Rolls are good, but lacking flavor. Me personally, I like peanut butter, but the Hoisin Sauce with Peanut Butter had a weird aftertaste. The pork chop was nice and charred, but also lacked some flavor. The vermicelli (noodles) is a nice filler. Great service, and overall nice interior, the only real problem is being crammed with space.“

“She doesn’t specialize in pho but this is orange county. It was the best rare beef i’ve ever had. Her broth is peppered with black pepper. I’d recommend lots of lime. The noodles are fresh and not rehydrated.

There was no tendon or tripe in the dac biet. I’d recommend the pho tai if you’re having pho. To the owner I’d recommend just taking the dac biet off the menu. Ppl don’t come for pho dac biet, they come for pho. The pho tai is clearly your best here.“

We did the combo platter appetizer which is a great way to test out two different springs roll (bbq pork and shrimp) and their egg rolls. The shaking beef and the house special fried rice. The bbq pork is a shining star, great char and delicious flavors. No complaints and we will be returning!“
