“I can honestly say if you go here you will not at all regret it! The atmosphere is super nice, the staff is amazing, and the food! The food was absolutely amazing and between the 3 of us we ordered way too much but everything was delicious, definitely worth the trip!“
“Delicious Thai food. Server forgot my order. Nice downtown Martinez location. Will go back many times with my wife because we like Thai food and this place is the best around.Parking: Parking in Martinez is rarely easy for any business on or near Main st. If it's busy, you will need to drive around for a few minutes. But we've always found a spot within a few blocks.“
“Our party of 19 ate here the night after Christmas. Yo's on Hartz is such a nice and intimate place to eat. The manager, Evelyn, made sure our large party was well taken care of and gave excellent meal recommendations. Everyone enjoyed their food and cocktails. We look forward to dining here again!“
“When you see a 5-star joint on Yelp, you kind of have certain expectations. This surpassed them. A plate of the most complex & delicious flavors took 6 minutes to make, and was plentiful enough for leftovers. The roti by itself plain rivals any croissant, pastry or crepe in the city. Go here!“
“We are always looking for great Chinese food. We have lots of places that we go for Chinese food and most of them are very average. 5 of us ate dinner here a couple of weeks ago. Every dish we had was well prepared, tasty, and flavorful. Mongolian beef, Szechuan pork, lemon chicken, pork fried rice, chow menu were all great. I particularly loved the pot stickers. So many times they are kind of doughy and seem undercooked. These were light, nicely browned and crispy on the outside. Probably the best potstickers I've ever had and I've had a lot. Can't wait to come back.“
“Filipino Style Bahn MiI was delighted to find that the atchara was satisfyingly sour as one would expect it to be. It balanced out the sweet and salty bbq chicken with a healthy dose of cilantro. The pork belly sigsig fries were phenomenal. A bite of crispy pork belly with every bite.Ample parking, wonderful people, and they've put up a very nice patio with heaters and roof to keep the rain off. Great seating area for that after work beer.“
“Very delicious authentic Asian cuisine. The pork and duck combo were magnificent. The owner/operator is super nice. Hong Kong ice milk tea is a great sipper on a hot day. I'm not sure about seating, but I took it to go, so it wasn't an issue. Very reasonable prices.“
“Holy crap. This place is absolutely a 10 out of 10. PROPER BBQ! Reasonable prices. Honestly I'm shocked it didn't have a line out the door. I'm sure it will soon. We just stumbled upon it by chance and we will definitely be back!“
“Best Burmese restaurant in the Bay Area in my opinion. The restaurant is so clean and service is superb. Coconut chicken noodle soup had layers of flavors and the whole tilapia dish topped with green mango relish was just refreshing. Can’t wait till the next visit!“
“This food was off the chart. I had the seafood omelette with shrimp, crab and salmon. My gosh, it was packed with flavor and just the right amount of portions in the omelet. It was a little crowded and noisy so don't go there if you are looking for a quiet place but the food and service is awesome. You won't be disappointed for sure.Kid-friendliness: They had a kid friendly pancake breakfast.“
“What a gem!Huge thanks to my fav Yelp for the recommendation. This boutique exudes romance with its charming decor adorned with both fresh and artificial roses, creating an ambiance that warms the heart.Following the stellar reviews, we decided to have lunch here with our two-year-old cutie. Despite it being Presidents’ Day weekend, we were lucky to secure a table. The warm greeting and impeccable service set the tone for our meal. The table setup, complete with fancy silverware and branded table napkins, added a touch of elegance. The gold-plated plates of varying sizes were a sight to behold. Each dish was a culinary masterpiece, presented with a designer touch. The Apple’s Trout salad and Kha Soi noodles with chicken were bursting with unique flavors, making it impossible to resist indulging in them. The lightness of the Apple’s Trout salad perfectly complemented the crispy fish, while the Kha Soi noodles were a delightful blend of curry goodness. One minor issue we encountered was the limited restroom accessibility due to the tight seating arrangement. It would be beneficial for the owners to address this inconvenience.Overall, this establishment deserves a solid five-star rating, and we'll definitely be returning soon.Thank you for bringing this culinary delight to San Ramon.“
“Ate here for the first time thanks to the great Yelp reviews! There's not that many spots in the mall that have decent food honestly, so I was looking forward to trying a different spot. It wasn't busy at all (lunch on a Thursday though) but the place was clean and efficient. I ordered a 49er roll and a spider roll, came out to just over 20 bucks with tax which is a pretty good deal for sushi. The rolls were excellent and a decent size. The soft shell crab was fried to order so it was crunchy which I love. No complaints here, I would go back again for yummy sushi at a decent price.“
“This small restaurant packs a lot of flavor and delicious dishes! We got the papaya salad (little spice) with shrimp, beef skewers, and kary khmer. Everything was good, but my favorite was the beef skewers because of the lemongrass. I also like the papaya salad because it was refreshing. It wasn't packed for a late dinner Friday night, so service was fast and easy. They always came by to refill our water. The interior was yellow, small and decorated with Cambodian art work. I would come back to try the other dishes!“
“I tried the coconut curry chicken upon. Out was delish! I even bought more broth to take gone and add to the large portion of noodles they give. The restaurant is small and definitely not where you go for ambiance, but the food was tasty and seems very fresh. The owners are kind and seem very committed to their healthy, nourishing, and very tasty cooking. Unfortunately, I have moved from the area, but if you are in the neighborhood I would definitely suggest a lunch stop or picking up some excellent take- out.“
“I wish I had taken a photo because it was prepared in an appealing way, seriously food porn. Now let me tell you... the poke I got with tuna and hamachi was off the charts. So fresh! I had chunky pieces of sushi till my last bite and I only got the small size, the portions were perfect. The sides were delicious, I got the Mac salad and edamame. The shoyu, ponzu and yuzu sauces were so tasty. I also got the spicy mayo and it was perfectly spiced. All of the toppings were fresh as well and they were not cheap on the avocado! The service was fantastic from the moment I walked in. They were busy getting orders ready but did not miss a beat when greeting me. Super helpful in checking in while I was reading the menu and deciding. They didn't forget to check in again and had perfect timing when realizing I was ready to order. Answered all of my questions, I didn't have too many questions but the responses were quick and descriptive. Everyone was attentive, polite and friendly. The ambiance was bright, energetic and perfect for lunch. I came in just before lunch started. Enjoyed my meal at the restaurant and had to give compliments because I was very impressed!!“
“The best service ever -- servers are extremely accommodating to all food allergies! Most dishes can be made gluten-free, and they can omit garlic and onions from many dishes as well if you have an allium intolerance. It's delicious too!!Dietary restrictions: Tons of gluten-free options!“
“It’s a contemporary Japanese restaurant with an extensive menu. Decor is bright and cheery. Bonus points for big screens showing a winning Warriors game on the night we dined there! ? Personally I had the cheesy katsu on a sizzling hot plate which was quite a sight and tastes pretty good. My party had sushi and ramen which are ok but the broth is not complex flavor-wise. The draft beer in frosted mugs is refreshing and goes very well with the katsu. Service is friendly and lots of drink options from sake to soju to ramunes. Definitely something for everyone.Vegetarian options: There are options even for plant-based diets.Parking: Saw a couple of pay-per-use EV charging spots in the parking lot too. Probably J1772s.Kid-friendliness: Good menu options for kids and they provide little chopstick training widgets for a fun experience“
“Went for dinner here on a rainy Saturday evening. The restaurant was very clean and cozy. The service was great as well as the dishes we ordered. Pork belly and seafood were our orders. They went well with a bottle of soju!Definitely looking to come back in the near future.“
“This was our first time at Kaori. The food was perfectly prepared, appetizers, salad, and main course. The cod was well presented, and the portion, while not excessive, was certainly sufficient. Our server, Bee, was attentive and personable, despite the fact that she was also serving a large party in another area of the restaurant. My only complaint relates to this other party. They were celebrating, and the noise did transmit to our table. We were the only two parties in the restaurant, as it was quite early, and I would be concerned about the noise level if the restaurant was full. Other than that one concern, it was a pleasant and satisfying dining experience, and we will return.“
“I went today with my friends. One of them is 80 year old and uses wheel chair. The restaurant has a ramp for wheelchair. Also, my friend has an elderly sickness and needs help sometime. The server always looked at him and gave him more napkins, more water, and came checking on us very often. It was very sweet and tentative service. We really appreciate it and we will go back there again next month. In terms of food, we ordered golden treasure shrimp, very delicious!! Coconut prawn, it was so so for me, but my friend LOVE it. Hot and sour soup, is the best one so far, and shumei. Oh I need to mention, white rice, they made it perfectly not too mooshy or too hard. The bathroom is big and clean too. What a bummer that I forgot too take pictures of my foods. Anyway, if you go to Oakland and craving for Chinese food. This is the place no need to search more. Btw, people taste is different but for me this is it. My go to Chinese restaurant. Thank again Mr.wonderful service sorry that I forgot to ask your name if I knew, I would post on here. The owner should know how lucky they are to have you work for them!“
“SOLID! I work in alameda so I've been coming to this location for YEARS! Go-to:SALT AND PEPPER WINGS (good size wings:meaty) I get it without the Jalepenos - they dust them with what seems like sugar or something to give it a some sweetness which I like The fries that come with it are the skinny type which compliment the wings. CRAB FRIED RICE- my friend told me about this item and been in love with it ever since! When I first got them there was SO much crab per rice ratio! Over the years though sometimes the crab ratio would be a little less but then I would come back and it would be better. I guess it depends on the season too if crabs are in season or not? Vibe inside has always been cool good music and Good size tvs for sports. What not. Don't forget to save room for dessert and grab you some ice cream too!!!!“
“We ordered the spicy chicken wings, the fried fish and a noodle dish. All were very good. My only complaint was that the fish didn't have more meat on it, since we were sharing. But for one person it would be fine. Very friendly service and a nice atmosphere as wellParking: We went during the super bowl so it was relatively easy to find street parking, but it would be difficult on a normal night“
“Clean modern atmosphere Tofu vegetarian optionsGood healthy optionsOrder Mexican oriented dishes like burritos and tacos and they're delicious. I had ordered a Veggie Bowl and was disappointed with the lack of flavor and freshness. Service was prompt and courteous. We will return again.“
“I ordered the Tom Kha Udon soup to go, I like the fact that if you order to go the broth it’s separate from the noodles and the rest of the ingredients. The soup broth was really good it had alot of flavor to it. The chicken was really tender. I will be ordering again.“
“Stopped in for lunch at noon on a Tuesday. I was surprised I was the only one in the restaurant. I sat at the sushi bar. Kenny my waiter was very friendly. He brought the menus and a large bottle of iced water. He told me to take my time and let him know when I was ready to order. They had both their regular menu and a lunch special menu. I chose the Warrior Roll which Kenny stated that was his favorite. I watched the Chef carefully make my roll and torch the Salmon. The roll was large and very tasty. I would recommend this roll.Menu pricing was a little high on the entrees and bento boxes compared to other high quality sushi establishments. Pricing on the rolls were comparable to other establishments..“
“Outstanding! Always…… Dave Y. You’re just a Karen. Everything about RJ’s is fantastic. If anyone doesn’t like RJ’s, they have much greater hurdles to deal with and simply can’t find the good in anything. Hats off to the staff, the owner and the regulars.“
“I’ve been coming here since I was 10 years old. I’m now about to be 28. I love the food so much and the service is always fantastic. I’m just so sad that they changed their recipe to their hot sauce :/ it’s not the same but still my number one place to get Chinese food !!“
“The service was warm and dang, this ice cream is DELICIOUS! I've never seen fresh fruit and fresh cream used to create ice cream right in front of my eyes and it did not disappoint! It was so good we went back again the next day so my partner could try it.Looking forward to trying the bowls!“
“The food was excellent! I was with two of my counterparts as we were working in the area (I am from Florida, one counterpart from Las Vegas and the last from Visalia) and we had dumplings, kung pao chicken, sweet and sour pork, Mongolian beef with combination rice. It was absolutely fantastic! The service was incredible and we asked for absolutely nothing during our meal as it was taken care of before we even realized we needed it done.I highly recommend this location as you will not be disappointed.“
“My niece told me about this place. I came two days in a row because the food was sooooooo good. My first time here I orderd the Jjapaguri, omg the taste sensation was amazing. The noodles, fried egg, and millionaire bacon made it all come together. The coconut cream latte brought the whole experience together. My second day at Kitchen Story I ordered the Tornado Galbi Omurice and the iced Cinnamon latte, the best decision. It was delicious. The servers gave me the recommendations for both dishes so I am grateful for the advice. The only thing that is hard for me is the no room and you are so close to other people and hear evey conversation. However, I am just a private person and I like my space. Every one does not feel like that.“
“Koja has been in the area for a few years now and while it was okay when I first tried it, I've had a much better experience now with new management and their menu. They're known for their koja which is a bun made of crispy rice with your choice of protein in the middle. Their short rib is delicious, but more of a trendy type of food that eating once will satisfy. I was actually more blown away by their fried chicken sandwich which has a regular bun, but great fixings and seasonings that make it stand out.I also got ahi tuna poke which I wouldn't expect from this place, but it was fine compared to everything else. They also have great fries which they load up on sauce, toppings, and meat depending which one you get.The service is always straightforward here and they manage a ton of order from various apps. You can dine-in here and it's a casual atmosphere, but I find it better to get food to-go and eat somewhere nearby. Would recommend them to a friend who wants some tasty food with Asian flair“
“We ordered delivery from Doordash and enjoyed it. We tend to order low carb high protein meals that we can reheat for the next few days and we didn't feel the greens bowls suffered from a light reheating in the microwave. There are cheaper options than Umami Express but we liked that we could get double the proteins and even side orders of the proteins, and the meat was really tasty. Will definitely order again:Chicken greens bowl -- especially with added avocado. The chicken is really moist and flavorful. My partner liked all the tastes in the protein lover's bowlMight not order again:The wagyu beef is definitely over seasoned, though I loved the texture -- not as good as the chicken but I was happy to have a beef option I wasn't super fond of the tofu because it has an ordinary texture and the seasoning was too heavy on paprika for my taste. My partner liked it. I usually like water chestnuts and pickled onions but neither of them added much to my enjoyment of the bowls so I will probably leave them out next timeI haven't figured out which of the two sauces I tried (lemon garlic soy sauce or garlic sesame soy sauce) was the one I preferred because I got them mixed up, but I think it was the garlic sesame because it was creamy and tasted of tahini. Overall a nice addition to our healthy takeout list!“
“I've been going to Sizzling Lunch since it's soft open and I'm really glad to see it's sticking around. There aren't a ton of sit-down restaurants on Telegraph, so it's nice when you want to grab lunch with a friend somewhere that has more than takeout.Ordering is made simple through their iPad at each table and the menu has a broad range of styles and protein from beef, pork, and eel to noodles, rice, and Japanese curry. The service is pretty quick and the staff instructs you how to make sure everything is cooked if you're new to this.2 floors of seating and one of my favorite places to get fries (aside from the large size, I love their garlic soy sauce and teriyaki sauce to put on everything)“
“tasty sushi burrito, interesting concept, no high end ingredients but still pretty good! ran in with my buddy to the commissary kitchen that has a lot of different restaurants as part of the group. Nice guys running the place, fun to talk to, decent semi-healthy lunch to grab and go!“
