“I’m touring a condo in Oakland for a client making an offer and I stop for a quick bite at a tiny sandwich place next to the Grand Lake Theater. OMG, Unbelievable sandwiches, smoked meats, homemade pickles, peppers🫑 and memorable pulled pork, etc. I hang out for a few minutes while Jerry makes my Cuban sandwich, and he has me try their smoked bacon, homemade meatballs, and more. “Wanted a good sandwich 🥪 and I had forgotten about a hidden gem in Concord, CA.. Parma Delicatessen! One of my favorite spots for amazing sandwiches that are worth every penny! They're not stingy with their meat products, they matter their own bread. They even slice the meat in front of you! If you're ever in town and want a real Italian sandwich, go to Parma Deli and enjoy a great sandwich!“

“I got the special combo ham sandwich without cilantro and jalapeno - but I found a jalapeno in my sandwich. My partner also found jalapeno in #20 grilled pork with lemon grass even it was ordered with no jalapeno. Beside that complaint, the banh mi was really good! The bread is soft and crunchy without hurting the roof of our mouth and it's fully stuffed with the meats and veggies while being affordable!

Although the inside of the shop is clean and organized, the streets is seemingly sketchy and dirty looking so be cautious. It might be hard to find parking.

“They have quality strong coffee that’s perfect with their yummy homemade baked goods. We ordered the chocolate chip muffin thinking it’ll be just an ordinary one but it was goooood! We also ordered the cream roll cake with pistachios and it was delicious. Definitely coming back for the pizza and sandwiches next time! The owner was gracious enough to answer some of our questions about their coffee and desserts. So warm and welcoming! Our family will definitely be regular customers ❤️“

“I used to live in the area. This place is just as it was 10 yeat ago. The same people working in the kitchen. The same grumpy old man taking the orders. Absolutely terrible service. But the food is the best. The pastrami sandwich is soooo good. Soooo good. Well the only thing that changed is the price. The prices did go up. I told the old grumpy man that was taking the order that his food was sooo good. He grunted and moved his head up and down once at the same time not even looking at me. “We tried Weslos Sandwiches and loved it! You would never realize it is there but it is attached to the Loards ice cream. Staff was so friendly! We had both the Weslos and the Willows sandwiches, and it was tasty; even my picky kiddos loved it. I noticed they use bread from Acme Bread Company, and the herb bread I tried was absolutely delicious. I also had the HK coffee which was smooth and flavorful. Prices are reasonable. Super convenient there is a Loards ice cream in the same complex. Definitely coming back!“

“Whoa! Their sandwiches are really good! When the sandwich first arrived I was a little disappointed in the size, the 6" seemed really small, but after tasting it and eating the entire sandwich I felt full at the end! Will definitely be ordering from here again.“

“Great deli / cafe attached to a catering business. Sandwiches are outstanding. Meat piled high and very fresh vegetables. Roll was soft and light, also.

The deli operation closes at 2:00 pm daily and is closed on weekends. But in-between that, you can get a great sandwich here .

They have housemade salads of all types, incl pasta etc. I didn't try them but will - they all looked great

And, it is one of the few places to sit down and eat around here that doesn't try to shake a tip out of you at the cash register before even trying the food.

Maria v made our experience unforgettable. She is always in a great mood, full of positive energy. Her warmth and professionalism stand out immediately. She’s attentive without being intrusive and makes you feel genuinely welcome.

What I appreciated most is how gracefully she makes recommendations. I had never tried the “Happy Hippie” before, and I was unsure about ordering it. Maria confidently suggested it and, jokingly but sweetly, told me that if I wasn’t happy with it, she would even offer me a free sandwich. That sense of humor and kindness made the experience even more enjoyable. Of course, I loved it — and her recommendation was amazing.

“This particular Subway is very clean and efficient. I had two people in line in front of me with 2 employees behind the counter. From entrance to exit (with sandwich in hand ) was about 5 minutes. The price of Subway sandwiches have really gone up, but again, what hasn't? Just make sure you bring in a coupon and your footlong will be $7 and change (coupons do not include the specialty sandwiches). Great place for a quick (really quick in this case) bite to eat!“

“I was hesitant to come back after I had a bad experience a year ago before they rebranded; which a lot of the older reviews reflect. VERY happy to say that they've improved significantly, I got the five spice chicken with an iced coffee and both are fantastic. Meat tastes great and the bread is perfect. Worth giving them another shot if you started avoiding this place like I did before.

“I whipped into the Sourdough & Company for an Amazing deli sando while coming back from the Glardhaven Auditorium way out there on the top of Kickinmeyers Ridge road where we listened to Pinkus McGee lecture on the do's and don'ts of poking sharp sticks at the Bison in Yellowstone park...he even showed everyone the scars where he was gored, all 8 of them.
