The reviews were great so we thought we’d check it out - we were pleasantly surprised by the immediate seating at 630PM on a Saturday, and the decor was nice. We ordered the gyozas, miso soup, California roll, rainbow roll, and dynamite rolls and they were all fantastic and beautifully presented. The owner of the restaurant also dropped off a complimentary appetizer (mushrooms) and dessert (chocolate ice cream). Overall, fantastic hospitality and very good fish. We will be back!“

“When I'm craving sashimi or sushi that's fresh and reasonably priced, I always head to Ebiko.

Ebiko is a quick stop-and-shop in Piedmont, wish fresh sushi, nigiri, sashimi and more! It's mainly for takeout. The service is good and friendly! Mainly just the chefs in the back and hostess/cashier. Since it's a shop without seating, the vibe feels like a convenient store with snacks and drinks as well.

Parking can be a pain, but if you emergency park, I'm sure you'll be in and out under 5minutes.

Overall, great store for sushi and I would always recommend friends to stop by here when visiting!“

“My favorite Sushi spot in Walnut Creek!!! It’s amazing here. I get the premium omakase and hand rolls every time. (Usually spicy tuna or salmon). The fish is super fresh and my favorite nigiri is the otoro of course.

They have some rolls there that are pretty good as well. The pacific roll is one of the ones we always get. But you can’t go wrong with all the others. Just pick the one with fish you like and it will taste so good.

Also the staff is so friendly and attentive. It’s worth it every time we go :)“

“First time dining in at this place that replaces a previous Chinese Vietnamese restaurant that we used to frequent.

It’s almost like a ghost kitchen in the sense that they have Japanese food (Sachi sushi) and dim sum (Yue Club) operating under a joint name of Saga Kitchen.

The sashimi was alright, though they gave us a bonus of a tuna belly which was delicious.

Sabro plate - ground beef and scrambled egg was not what we were looking for. The ground beef lacked any taste as it felt like straight up ground beef. So not something we would order again. Got it with Ebi tempura but it tasted like those frozen shrimp tempura - know it since I have taste palate that has allowed me to differentiate them, and food sensitivity to also differentiate fresh water from salt water shrimp - theirs is certainly fresh water.

Char shu ramen was delicious. Noodles had a slight chewy texture and the soup was tasty. The charshu, and poached eggs were right on and delicious.

Tonkatsu was ok. A little on the drier side compared to our favorite Tonkatsu places.

The cool robot food runner was fun and entertaining for the kids.

The fabric seats were discomforting as there’s just so much stains on it that it felt nasty seating on it - we changed immediately when we got home.“

It was fresh, hot, big enough to split (I didn't). Flavor was on point. Don't really remember a crunchy component but I wouldnt hesitate to order it again.The spicy ramen on the other hand was extremely subpar. Great portion size for the price, but the broth was flavorless. The chicken was definitely dark meat. The veggies and ramen were overcooked. Chicken bouillon, salt and red pepper flakes were a must to achieve the flavor I was looking for.“

First came complimentary miso soup once we sat down. Very thoughtful. Lunch combo start at $14.50 and $1 to $4 extra depending on what you order. Food was served in an efficient manner. “We come here for every single birthday three times a year at the least 15 years . The customer service is amazing and the kindness is always there, phenomenal community minded local business. wonderful human beings inside oh and the food is very good too. I’m a vegan. Very good spot for a date, or lunch/dinner with your parents. Also a great everyday lunch spot. I try to eat here once a week at least - when I need a healthy meal Asian style.

My favorite is the miso soup and side salad, add a rice and it's under $10. There are many food options in the $10-15 range for a full meal. My favorite soup is the vegetable udon noodle soup. I also like that they have soda pop available with no artificial sweeteners or high fructose corn syrup, so I can enjoy a soda sometimes without feeling too guilty about it.

The sushi is also great, and the teriyaki dishes yummy.

We ordered one of everything on the happy hour menu and were BLOWN AWAY. Soooo good, we ordered 2nds of most of the items. Floored how good the oyster mushroom tempura on their HH menu is. Like. Chef’s kiss! All of the fish items in HH were top shelf. So good, we ended up ordering multiples. Staff was so helpful and happy. Can’t wait to come back.“
