“This is a fabulous Thai Restaurant. You are greeted with a warm smile and then served really delicious food. I had curry puff balls followed by spicy prawns and bacon. Who doesn’t love prawns and bacon. The flavors were fabulous and the vegetables were so fresh and tasty. I will be back for more for sure. Thank you. Five stars from me.“

“We have gone here twice now and it has been 5 star each time. The food did not disappoint. Between both visits we’ve ordered the Lamb Tikka Marsala, butter chicken, lamb skewers, Tandoori chicken and all were very good. Fully stocked bar, TV and good spacing between tables. Service was pleasant. We arrived and host was on the phone, but didn’t make us wait , he had us seated right away. The wait for food was timely. If you’re looking for good Indian food in the East Bay Area, this is it.“

Usually if a restaurant has a bunch of vegetarian options, their meat options are not great, but this place is an exception. Every piece of fish I had here was fantastic!“

I came for boozie brunch and I was SOOO happy she came to Lafayette! Unfortunately, that area isn’t used to that level of fun and people called the cops for no reason at all but I’m glad the establishment allowed us to keep having fun.“

“Great Wall Restaurant serves fresh, flavorful Chinese food with generous portions. The sweet and sour chicken was crispy and tangy, while the broccoli beef was tender and savory. Friendly service and a cozy atmosphere made for a great dining experience. Highly recommend!“

“I should have taken a picture, but I scarfed the burrito down so fast! I just wanted to rave about this place and their wonderful customer service. I came in and asked for a simple bean and cheese burrito. I paid and then it occurred to me after to ask what kind of beans they use (I'm 7.5 months pregnant and for whatever reason, only like refried beans.... oh, pregnancy!). He said they only use whole beans. I tried to see if I could get something else for the same price I paid (which he was so nice about), but ultimately decided, "Oh well, I'll just stick with what I ordered!" I went to the bathroom and when I came out, he said, "We are making the beans refried for you now!" I thought that was so nice of them! It was so good too. Definitely recommend this place!!!“

“What a cute little spot right next to the Lafayette post office! The lady who owns and runs the place with her husband is so sweet. She cares deeply about her customers and the community. Also, the menu emphasizes clean organic food. If you're looking for a nice simple spot for breakfast or lunch, this is a lovely little place. Plus, you're supporting a local business that has been in Lafayette for many years!“

“This place is a great place for consistent breakfast with good options and friendly service. We're fans of the crab and shrimp omlette and the benedicts were good, but weren't huge fans of the French toast or the crepe. The kid pancakes looked great, and I would recommend the coffee cake in place of toast.

Plenty of street parking around (metered) and place can get busy on a weekend morning but seems to move relatively quick. Definitely worth a try if you haven't before.“

“Our party of 3 had a lovely lunch on the patio to celebrate a birthday. The food was very good... quiche and crab sandwich as well as the desserts... bread pudding and special dessert for the birthday girl. The service was very slow, and we rarely saw our waitress unless we asked for her. The noise level on the patio was very loud. We would come back again despite the short falls.“

“When everything goes right!! Friendly happy welcoming staff. Great food and cosy atmosphere all over. My Mexicali burger was perfect. The ice tea was delish. I need to call them and ask what tea they use as I’m a tea snob. The final icing - a big slice of complimentary coffee cake that is the bomb. I’ll be back.“

“Best burgers around! They have just such incredible depth of flavors in their burgers. The Seasonal burgers are phenomenal!

They have great fun sodas they make in house. The service and atmosphere are top notch . Been going here a ton lately. They also have great gluten free buns!!!“

“Wonderful local restaurant (free parking which is now unheard of these days). Great service, atmosphere and changing menu keeps it interesting and fresh! The ceviche is excellent, bolognese is fabulous and authentic, duck spring rolls are amazing and the best burger and fries in town. Good cocktail and wine menu, outdoor seating with heatlamps .Always dependable!“
