“I ordered the ramen tofu because there normal ramen was a combination of tonkotsu broth with pork and chicken.
Since I don't eat pork, it had to be the tofu one, which is really sad for me. I was expecting them to add chicken to it, but they couldn't, so I had to order a chicken lolipop on the side, which was actually pretty good.
So if you don't like/eat pork it's gonna be hard for you in there but otherwise the ramen tofu was good but I didn't want to eat tofu because I don’t like it but chicken but like I said I had no choice but to order it.“

“Always past this spot when visiting Laguna Beach. Driving for over 5 hours I was craving for a burger. Bouncer was cool and a vibe so we knew it was going down inside. Juanita was busy but took time to let us know we can sit anywhere. Immediately after we sat down Juanita smiling and making sure the table was clean and even pulled chairs over so we can have the room we need. U wanted Don Julio repasado. Only had 1942. Lowkey wish they had other Don options and more tequila options in general, very limited. However ordered Casamigos with soda water and 2 splashes of pineapple juice. Both drinks was made to perfection. Typically my order is pretty straightforward but often get too much soda water or to little pineapple juice. This was just what I needed. Ordered Irishman burger, onion rings, and extra plate. Food came out and Juanita executed with burger and fries split. Food was great, atmosphere had great energy with smiles ,laughter and a live band. Even got graced with Santa. Definitely will be back.“

“My wife's and I favorite spot in all Laguna, we've been to all the bars, taverns n this saloon by far is THEE BEST...every year we make it a must stop spot.....I'm a photographer at heart and this classic saloon is AWSOME, the coziness, ceiling n decor, flooring, masonry and the patina bar. “Amazing restaurant so thankful that they opened up one here a few months ago. We've always been going to the same restaurant in La Jolla area. The service was top-notch. The food was excellent. The bread basket is phenomenal. Homemade pastas are out of this world.“

“I made dinner reservations for the 2 of us for 4:30 to surprise my husband with a rooftop sunset dinner date and when we arrived on time to check-in , we were told there's at least a 45 minute wait despite several tables being open & we were told that those tables were being held for others with reservations . We were then seated inside a room with no ambiance no view and a large party setting was being prepared. This was a total disappointment, we travelled by Uber for an hour to get there, a venue we have been talking about checking out the surprise was ruined and the hostess at Mozambique really didn't seem to care. This place looks cool & they have some great upcoming events we like to give places a second chance so we will go back.“

“It was an extremely busy Saturday night and the place was absolutely packed in Laguna Beach. We showed up at 6:20 PM for our 6:30 PM reservation. The hostess never smiled. She looked completely overwhelmed with the amount of people waiting for tables when I asked her when she thought we could be seated, she said she has no idea. I would say at least 50% of the restaurants capacity is outdoors on their patio on the street. Very tight seating quarters and on a chilly evening, even though the weather was nice. The Pat patrons were replying on the space heaters for warmth. The two heaters New York table we're going out constantly, and the servers were sidetracked from serving food at times. Just trying to get the heaters to work having to switch them out several times during the dinner overall, I found the menu prices to be very reasonable for the portion and the quality of food that you received, but it seemed like they were not prepared for the business volume that they had last night, which resulted in late seating and long delays in service. It is definitely a cool restaurant, but did not live up to the intimate expectation that I had planned on for my wife's birthday.“
