“My wife & I have been eating at The Broken Yolk Cafe in Irvine for several years now and we absolutely love the delicious food and the wonderful service, particularly via our regular server Alicia. She has such a positive attitude and shares our love of dogs. She always makes sure to bring our dog Maizie a bowl of water and a pup cup whenever we go there. I cannot recommend this Broken Yolk location and Alicia enough.“

“Hidden gem! The staff at Forest Cafe was so kind, attentive, and accommodating. I have a pork allergy and they went out of their way to make sure my meal was safe, which I really appreciated.

I had the enchiladas and was honestly pleasantly surprised. I’m super picky with Mexican food because I can make it at home, but every single bite was delicious and full of flavor! My friend ordered the huevos rancheros and said they were exceptional as well.

It’s a clean, small family-owned place with such a welcoming atmosphere. You can really tell they care about their customers and the quality of their food. Definitely going back!“

We got to sit in the only large circular booth because we arrived a few minutes before opening at 7:30 and so were the first ones in the door. There are several other standard booths and plenty of other seating as well even a bit later when traffic picked up. Our server Carolina was very attentive and friendly, and that large circular booth was the perfect place for a good discussion. Everyone seemed happy with their food. I got the Ranchero Skillet, which was quite spicy but Carolina had warned me. The coffee was great, and they did a good job of coming around frequently to refill coffee and water.“

“The best breakfast burrito and sandwich of my life. Linda’s knows how to be generous with their portions and make a hearty breakfast. I love this place, ever since I discovered it I’ve been telling all my friends and family. Their doughnuts are always so fresh and taste better than anywhere else and they have cute designs and variety of flavors. Their orange juice is actually hand squeezed unlike other places that say it is but really isn’t. I couldn’t rave about this place more really.“

“The story of the Four Sea Restaurant founder is quite the adventure, from cooking for her family in China to moving to Taiwan then California, the food is authentic and comfort. They have a huge variety of classic Chinese and Taiwanese breakfast items at a fair price. There is plenty of indoor seating and the staff are friendly. Only complaint is that the food can come out a bit slow though.“
