“My husband is gluten free and I search for options for him whenever we travel. I was beyond excited to find Mariposa and we stopped for breakfast before our Alcatraz tour. Their bakery items were delicious and wish we could have had more! I wish they would have labeled that the olive oil/bacon/cheese swirl has olives in it as I would've chosen something else but the cheddar almond scone was amazing! Wish we could've taken a bunch home.“

“I sometimes order pickup from World Wrapps in Corte Madera or SF after my work in Marin; have been doing so for years now. I love their salmon and beef bowls.

The one in Corte Madera though has iffy quality checks. This is the second time now I've had missing items in my order. Recently I ordered an extra salmon (+$7) that wasn't added. You can see in the pic only one bowl had double salmon when I got it for both.

I think they should reduce or simplify their online order options if they can't keep up with it.

UPDATE: they reached out to me and were able to get me refunded on missed items + gave some credits on the next order, which was appreciated.“

“The folks running this spot are so nice and attentive!! My ice cream sandwich was fantastic! I had DoorDash the night before and visited in person the next day after dinner!! The cookies were so fresh, but they were firm and held up to the ice cream. So good!! Wish there was one close to me!!“

“My favorite food is everything on the menu“

“Chicken Tikka Masala (in a bowl, with white rice instead of brown) - The chicken could have stayed on the grill for an extra minute or two. The Tikka Masala curry was phenomenal - had the right spices, perfect amount of tomato sauce, and quite strong! The curry was contrasted with a white yogurt raita, which contrasted quite well with the umami-ness and the curry. Love the mints and cilantro, made it look very refreshing. The marinated and pickled cucumbers, I felt, had hints of sesame oil.

The pickled cabbages were a great addition to its refreshing dish. Overall, it was a great balance of the strong flavors of the curry and yogurt, and keeping the refreshing profile of the dish.

*I have had this multiple times. The pickling of the cabbage can be inconsistent. The white rice can sometimes be too soggy. The curry was pretty consistent throughout.

“A very charming café with a cozy atmosphere. You can even sit upstairs, and the girls at the counter were very friendly. The pastries were delicious, and it’s convenient that they accept credit cards. There’s seating both inside and outside, which is great. However, the only downside is that people are constantly smoking on their outdoor patio, and the smoke drifts inside. Unfortunately, I had to leave quickly because sitting in the smoke was unpleasant. I walked by the café a few more times afterward, and every time, someone was smoking outside.“

“The best pho in Marin! This restaurant is a treasure. Amazing staff, amazing food, love them! Out of all the places offering pho in the area, this one is the best. They always include utensils and everything you need when you order takeout. They even include culantro which is how you know this place is legit. They are quick and reliable, even when we are lagging behind and ordering 15 minutes before closing. They keep us fed and happy.“

“This guy is an Italian genius when it comes to food! The combinations of flavors he comes up with would rival any great Italian chef. I met him while selling at a local farmers market a while ago-during or right after the pandemic. “Always so conflicted when I like something this much and it's in the Marina. This place was terrific and the true measure of its value was in the taste of my burger. After much deliberation, I went with the Heritage Bison burger with applewood smoked bacon, fontina cheese, and caramelized onions. It was superb. The bison always has such amazing flavor, rich but not greasy or fatty, just mouth-watering goodness with each bite.

Just go and have it. Now. It's really, really good.

“This place made the tastiest veggie curry dish - I asked for the Channa Masala extra spicy and they did such a great job! Their garlic naan is very good too. I am not an expert or Indian food aficionado. However, I love the taste of their food and the girl I spoke with over the phone was very sweet!“

“Best fast casual Japanese food in the city! Ever since visiting Japan at the beginning of last year, I haven’t been able to find any casual Japanese food I really like in California until this place. I got the custom bowl with eel, imitation crab, and teriyaki tofu for protein and a mixed base of salad and rice. It was super satisfying for dinner on a rainy day, and I felt full but not heavy. The portion size was just right, and the ingredients were fresh and yummy.“

“I walk by regularly and finally got around to stopping in. The hot caramel latte with oat milk was made with great care, quality ingredients, and in perfect proportions. Unlike other lattes that use sweet syrups to compensate for mediocre coffee, the coffee and syrup worked together to create a subtle and delicious drink. I don't typically drink coffee as part of my morning routine but when I do want a coffee I will absolutely go out of my way to get one here.

The portico with outdoor seating was clean and, being set back from the street and sidewalk, relatively sheltered from the elements.“

Girlfriend gave a thumbs up on the almond croissant. The atmosphere and cozy and the view is great over a quick bity.“

The "fried chicken" crafted from oyster mushrooms was a standout, mimicking the savory satisfaction of traditional chicken, even my grandfather loved it. The vegan pasta Alfredo showcases their skill in creating flavorful plant-based dishes as well. I love that the menu continually evolves, Veegee's impresses as a top-tier vegan spot, rivaling even the best in LA.“

“Stopped here for lunch with the family. They have a nice lunch special menu with lots of options and a bento box style as well if you want with potstickers, spring rolls and others. Very reasonably priced and they seem to have a lot of take up business. They also have dim sum options although we didn't try any.

Their shrimp eggplant dish is slightly spicy. They don't mark their spicy dishes on their menu so be sure to ask if you have any doubts.“
