“Very nice space and lovely people running the restaurant. Take out experience is efficient. Dining room is comfortable, although somewhat chilly the last time we were there. Eggplant and lamb curries were outstanding. Most other dishes OK to good. Egg rolls not very good. Very reasonable prices.“

She is dedicated to support the local businesses and economy. Our salads and soups were delicious! I highly recommend Local Roots. We will be back over and over again. “This is my favorite breakfast burrito in San Francisco. They are so, so good - stuffed with bacon, beans, avocado, cheese - I’m literally drooling thinking about it. The staff here are so kind and lovely. It’s great for breakfast or lunch. It’s reasonably priced for the area. The mini churros are also yummy. The portions are very large. Highly recommend.“

“Total hidden gem in SF. It’s low key and does take out only, but don’t let that fool you, this place rivals SF’s finest establishments. I moved in a few blocks down the street and have been ordering take out almost every day as I unpack. I’ve tried the chicken hummus plate, meatball and rice plate, and the Beyran Soup. Literally each dish was 5/5 amazing. The soup was the best soup I’ve ever had in my life. Super rich flavor, but not overly salty. Just right. Honestly these folks should turn into a full fledged restaurant.“

“You will not beat MIXT. It is a Latina cult of salads. They have salads and warm bowls. I always get the Barbecue bowl when I can ever afford it and it's FIREEEEE. These places are organically sourced and not made up. Must try. Average $15 on every menu item.“

“With 3 hours to kill, we set off for the food court recommended by a pilot we asked and looked at our options. We decided to "be healthy" after a 10-day cruise and were rewarded with amazing food! The Good Catch Vegan Manhattan Seafood Chowder and Tortilla soup were both amazing and the Cabo salad was hearty enough for us to share and not feel deprived in any way. Of course, we then justified a couple of chocolate chip cookies for dessert-LOL. I now hope we have a reason to get back there again.“

“Got the salmon delivered. With cous cous and spinach and holendaise. A bit pricey, but they are experts at prep, and cooking. Salmon was perfect. Honey ginger, without over powering each other or the salmon. Roasted pine nuts? Very very tasty and roasted to perfection. The holendaise was tart again exactly the way it should be. Exceptionally fresh, exceptionally executed. When in the city I will stop by and thank them. Now, of course I want to try everything else on their menu.“

“A “Must Stop” for lunch! The best sourdough bread I’ve ever had. Wanted to go back and just order a bunch of bread to take home and spoil the family. The perfect crispy crust and then soft chew center with lots of wonderful savory sourness. I had the Ham & Pastrami. Perfect fresh ingredients. Everything you want in a deli sandwich at a reasonable price. Lots of selections so I’m heading back for future yummy bites. Excellent personal service.“

The food is really healthy and doesn’t ever feel heavy, and they have a great variety of options, both sweet and savory. I love that there are both older people and younger parents with kids alike. Very pleasant staff, too!“
