“We had the most wonderful dinner at Sorella. The food was amazing, but the best part was our server Luca. She was absolutely incredible - so kind, so fun, so caring, so funny! @whoever is reading this, please give her a raise and promote her. Luca is the best!!!!“

The moment you step inside, the atmosphere feels like an intimate hideaway — refined, understated and entirely focused on the wine experience.

| Even the bathroom was notably well-designed — a small detail that speaks to the overall attention to quality throughout
| The ambience strikes a perfect balance between exclusivity and warmth
The kind of establishment that rewards those who seek it out. For wine enthusiasts looking for something beyond the ordinary in San Francisco, the Wine Society is an exceptional find.“

“Amelie San Francisco is a charming and intimate wine bar that perfectly captures a cozy, relaxed San Francisco vibe. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with dim lighting and a welcoming energy that makes it ideal for both date nights and casual hangouts.
The wine selection is thoughtfully curated, offering a great mix of familiar favorites and interesting discoveries. The staff are knowledgeable and happy to make recommendations based on your taste, which really enhances the experience.
Small plates pair beautifully with the drinks and are simple yet flavorful, making it easy to settle in for a long, enjoyable evening. Service is friendly, attentive, and never rushed.
Overall, it’s a lovely neighborhood gem that consistently delivers a great experience—definitely worth visiting again and again.“

“Mog Asu Wine Bar in Tiburon is an absolute gem and a true 5-star experience. The wine selection is incredible, thoughtfully curated from around the world, with something for every palate. The service is exceptional, and the owners are some of the kindest, most thoughtful people you’ll meet. Their knowledge and passion for wine really elevate the entire experience.
The space itself is everything you could hope for: beautiful, inviting, and perfectly designed for a relaxed yet refined evening. This is exactly what Marin needed. I can’t recommend it enough!“

“I just spent my birthday here with a small group of close friends and had the absolute best service! Robert was our server, one of my friends came in early and decorated our table (we reserved one of the back patio tables which seats up to eight, which was ideal for a gathering) and we just had the best time!! amazing food that was so easily shareable, incredible wine cannot wait to have another reason to come back here to celebrate!“

“How many restaurants in the Bay Area have an average rating of five on Google? This is the most understated and absolutely best restaurant in Marin. Why? What matters to me is the combination of unique and innovative food, service, and atmosphere. You can get one or two of these many aces, it's hard to find all three. Add to that that you get to sit at the counter and watch the chef prepare all your meals. And that there's only room for ten people every night. Chef Lance and Yo explain everything and the time just flies when there. We made the mistake of not ordering the caviar sampler. But when I saw how it was served to another guest, I knew I had to have it next time. You will not be disappointed.“

“I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. I am a business owner a few doors down and I wandered in with a friend after work one night about a month ago. We were met with such incredible warmth from the staff and the environment itself, even without a reservation. We sat at the bar and were greeted by Josh, only to find out later that he is the owner. He made excellent recommendations on everything from our drinks to dessert. The bar didn’t feel isolated from the rest of the restaurant and guests, but rather was lively hub frequented by kitchen and serving staff and warmed by a smoldering wood fire. The coziest. We swooned for the poke appetizer, complete with house-made toasted, but not crisp, blue corn tortillas. The pork shoulder tacos—also to die for. I have to say though, that the star on the sidelines was the beans. I honestly didn’t know I could feel this way about beans…but I digress. Josh bounced around from table to table all night, never letting a single ball drop, making every guest feel like *his* guest. A pot de crème sealed the evening in perfect bliss. I’m back a month later with the same friend, eating different and somehow even more incredible entrees: ribeye, halibut and a rhubarb crisp for dessert. I scarcely ever take the time to write a review as I prefer to vote with my $ and my feet, but I simply couldn’t eat here again without taking the time to sing it’s praises. Eat here.“

“I recently hosted a party at Ora and it was such a great experience! The space is perfect for a variety of occasions whether you’re planning a happy hour, hosting a celebration, or just having a fun girls’ night out.
A special shoutout to our bartender, Sabrina, who was absolutely fantastic. She was friendly, attentive, and really helped make the night feel special for everyone.
The wine selection was excellent! Everything we tried was delicious and there was something for everyone to enjoy. Overall, the atmosphere was warm, stylish, and welcoming.
I’d definitely recommend Ora if you’re looking for a great spot to unwind or celebrate with friends.“
“Super cute wine bar just across the street from Cafe Zoetrope. We were there for a calligraphy class but my daughter was feeling ill so we sat outside for a bit. The sommelier was kind and empathetic; he offered us waters and was talking to her to make her feel less embarrassed. While we were waiting, he even helped a lady park her car. So while we didn't have wine or food, the service is top notch and we'll go back!“

“If you are a caviar lover, you have to go here. They have caviar from their own farm and it is a sustainable operation. The prices are fair for caviar. No, it’s not cheap, but if you consider a small spoonful of caviar at a restaurant is upwards of $50, it’s a solid price. My favorite caviars/roes I’ve tried in order of enjoyment: golden osetra, osetra, estate, baerii, truffled whitefish roe. If you are curious about caviar, Tsar Nicoulai is the best place to give it a try at a reasonable price. Their caviar is wonderful.“

“A popular spot for a reason!! The vibe is very fun. Sometimes you can get dancing on tables on weekends - it depends. Seats fill up fast.
One note: they could make the outdoor area more lively so more people are inclined to sit there. Right now there are some great seating options but the vibe pales to inside.
Maybe add some lights? Low volume music? Water station?
Servers / bar tenders are all super nice“

“We’re visiting from out of town, and I came here with a friend who drove in from San Jose to spend the day with. We went on a Saturday for brunch, and we got the breakfast pizza to share with a side of bacon and roasted potatoes. The pizza and bacon were delicious, but the potatoes I would pass. I think they were over cooked and bland.
Also got a cafe au lait, and it was served in bowl! Super cute.“

“Everything we had was excellent. I hate beets but the beet salad was amazing and I would order it myself next time. Amazing restaurant, amazing food and great experience. I'll definitely go back the next time I am in SF. Back to Back is a gem in a city that has much less to offer these days.“

“Food is only 4 stars because they don't have a full kitchen, but the bites they serve are perfect. I recommend the prosciutto wrapped dates.

“Just a warning, this is the last place in SF that doesn’t yet accept Tap-to-Pay/Mobile Payments. Also, their ‘suggested tip’ amounts on the receipts included Tax in the total. The place is nice enough & their cocktail and wine is good, but the dealings feel a little sketchy.“
“My significant other and I were travelling down Hyde St on the cable car and passed this wine bar. As wine lovers, we knew we had to go back! What a treat! There is a great selection of delicious dry European wines. The atmosphere is intimate and inviting. Everyone in the bar including the owner were very friendly and helpful with other great recommendations in the area. I highly recommend visiting if you are a wine enthusiast.“
“We heard so much about this place, we came over from San Francisco specifically to try it out! What a perfect spot to have a taste of some amazing wines and an array of incredible cheeses and crackers. You walk inside and it’s a little shop with a bar counter on the right. You order what you like and sit outside and enjoy the beautiful view!! I am so looking forward to coming back on my next visit. Make it a point to stop in, you won’t be disappointed!!“

“Highly recommend this hidden gem!
We had a wonderful Father’s Day dinner here, and everything exceeded our expectations. The waitstaff and the friendly girls at the door who seated us were all fantastic—warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Everyone took the time to explain the specials and answer questions, which made the experience feel personal and special.
The portions were generous and the food was incredibly fresh and flavorful. As a nice touch, they even took a Polaroid picture of us with their own camera to commemorate the occasion—what a thoughtful gesture!
This was a great dinner overall, and we’ll definitely be back. Perfect spot for a memorable meal with family. Thank you to the whole team!“

“New Delhi has hands down the best Indian food in Marin IMHO, great for vegetarians! Service is friendly and delightful , and the food is excellent, with each dish having a unique flavor profile. Lunch buffet often has more unusual seasonal dishes, as well as the classics. Buffet is an incredible deal with lots of dishes, Chai, salad, samosas and pakoras, pickles and dessert all included, and delicious. Did I mention that prices are really reasonable? What's not to like?“

“My wife and I return each year on the anniversary of our first meeting at California Wine Merchant. “Stopped by recently on a hot summer day for some gelato. Talk about a perfect repast to beat the summer heat. I had hazelnut and mango, and the portions are very generous. I didn't ask, but I think they make the cones in-house. Anyway, strange combination, I know. The mango was immediately delicious but I think I messed up combining the two because when it came time for the hazelnut, I was too full to truly enjoy the depth of flavor. Next time, I'll get it to take home. I love the location, it's in one of my favorite areas of San Rafael with shopping, good food and entertainment in abundance. Haven't had the pizza yet, but I'm a New Yorker and we're picky about our slices!“

“I’m so glad we found this gem of a place in San Anselmo! My wife and I live in Brooklyn and come to the area every year to see family. This bar/ hang out spot is one of the most welcoming spaces in the area. The mid century / south west aesthetic instantly adds a coziness element. The staff are super kind, the drinks are so fresh and creative, and the pop up food was packed with flavor! Shout out for the space being very sensory friendly- large ceiling sound proof panels and wood on the walls to absorb noise. I will be back!“
