The main comprised 3 roasted chicken (our family loves a wonderfully roasted chicken - crispy skin and succulent inside).... as well as a halibut. Each of the dishes are on point... Just a note - the wine pricing is on a high side given the proximity to the wine country. The gentleman who took care of us was wonderful... checking in on us at the right time... Just a great experience.“

The wine list had a great range of prices, and we enjoyed both the whites and reds we tried. The tinned anchovies and the jamón and soppressata were also delicious and reasonably priced. “I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. I am a business owner a few doors down and I wandered in with a friend after work one night about a month ago. We were met with such incredible warmth from the staff and the environment itself, even without a reservation. We sat at the bar and were greeted by Josh, only to find out later that he is the owner. He made excellent recommendations on everything from our drinks to dessert. The bar didn’t feel isolated from the rest of the restaurant and guests, but rather was lively hub frequented by kitchen and serving staff and warmed by a smoldering wood fire. The coziest. We swooned for the poke appetizer, complete with house-made toasted, but not crisp, blue corn tortillas. The pork shoulder tacos—also to die for. I have to say though, that the star on the sidelines was the beans. I honestly didn’t know I could feel this way about beans…but I digress. Josh bounced around from table to table all night, never letting a single ball drop, making every guest feel like *his* guest. A pot de crème sealed the evening in perfect bliss. I’m back a month later with the same friend, eating different and somehow even more incredible entrees: ribeye, halibut and a rhubarb crisp for dessert. I scarcely ever take the time to write a review as I prefer to vote with my $ and my feet, but I simply couldn’t eat here again without taking the time to sing it’s praises. Eat here.“

“How many restaurants in the Bay Area have an average rating of five on Google? This is the most understated and absolutely best restaurant in Marin. Why? What matters to me is the combination of unique and innovative food, service, and atmosphere. You can get one or two of these many aces, it's hard to find all three. Add to that that you get to sit at the counter and watch the chef prepare all your meals. And that there's only room for ten people every night. Chef Lance and Yo explain everything and the time just flies when there. We made the mistake of not ordering the caviar sampler. But when I saw how it was served to another guest, I knew I had to have it next time. You will not be disappointed.“

A special shoutout to our bartender, Sabrina, who was absolutely fantastic. She was friendly, attentive, and really helped make the night feel special for everyone.

The wine selection was excellent! Everything we tried was delicious and there was something for everyone to enjoy. Overall, the atmosphere was warm, stylish, and welcoming.

“Super cute wine bar just across the street from Cafe Zoetrope. We were there for a calligraphy class but my daughter was feeling ill so we sat outside for a bit. The sommelier was kind and empathetic; he offered us waters and was talking to her to make her feel less embarrassed. While we were waiting, he even helped a lady park her car. So while we didn't have wine or food, the service is top notch and we'll go back!“

“A popular spot for a reason!! The vibe is very fun. Sometimes you can get dancing on tables on weekends - it depends. Seats fill up fast.
One note: they could make the outdoor area more lively so more people are inclined to sit there. Right now there are some great seating options but the vibe pales to inside.
Maybe add some lights? Low volume music? Water station?

“We had a superb dinner at Rose's Cafe last night. All of the dishes we ordered were delicious, and the whole staff was extraordinary. Everyone, especially our server, Layla, made us feel welcome, comfortable and unrushed even though we arrived only twenty minutes before the kitchen closed (not on purpose, we were delayed arriving into SF). This lovely neighborhood eatery will be our go-to restaurant from now on while visiting our kids in SF. I enthusiastically recommend it !!“

The waitstaff and the friendly girls at the door who seated us were all fantastic—warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Everyone took the time to explain the specials and answer questions, which made the experience feel personal and special. 
The portions were generous and the food was incredibly fresh and flavorful. As a nice touch, they even took a Polaroid picture of us with their own camera to commemorate the occasion—what a thoughtful gesture!

“New Delhi has hands down the best Indian food in Marin IMHO, great for vegetarians! Service is friendly and delightful , and the food is excellent, with each dish having a unique flavor profile. Lunch buffet often has more unusual seasonal dishes, as well as the classics. Buffet is an incredible deal with lots of dishes, Chai, salad, samosas and pakoras, pickles and dessert all included, and delicious. Did I mention that prices are really reasonable? What's not to like?“

“Stopped by recently on a hot summer day for some gelato. Talk about a perfect repast to beat the summer heat. I had hazelnut and mango, and the portions are very generous. I didn't ask, but I think they make the cones in-house. Anyway, strange combination, I know. The mango was immediately delicious but I think I messed up combining the two because when it came time for the hazelnut, I was too full to truly enjoy the depth of flavor. Next time, I'll get it to take home. I love the location, it's in one of my favorite areas of San Rafael with shopping, good food and entertainment in abundance. Haven't had the pizza yet, but I'm a New Yorker and we're picky about our slices!“
