We also tried fruit tea boba and strawberry/lychee slush with mango star jelly with 50% less sugar, still bit sweet but so so good!!!! I want to try Pho next time, i bet it would be yummy too. Strongly recommended!“

“Customer service is truly above and beyond here - I was sipping my drink while hearing how incredibly thoughtful and caring the worker was towards every customer who came in just made it feel like a really community-oriented establishment. The staff at Yomie’s Rice Yogurt have consistently gone above and beyond in assuring my boyfriend and I have the best, top quality, and absolutely most delicious authentic Chinese delicacy of a drink out within a very short amount of time. I plan to have Yomie’s Rice Yogurt catered to all my future birthdays and events. The usual cashier/barista (east asian, usually permed brown hair, and glasses) is incredibly friendly and nice. He always makes our drinks super quick and they’re always filled to the top with our added toppings of choice! He also lets newer customers know about how certain drinks taste and give customers advice on sugar level and drink toppings. They also have an incredibly amazing mural on the wall of hyper realistic white wings— definitely a tourist spot! This is my favorite place ever and a must try in San Diego for the amazing atmosphere, location, and above and beyond staff member. I am a harsh boba critic, and have been to many spots across San Diego. R&B stands near the top.

Drinks blended well. Smooth tea and milk. No flakes or bitter tea. Good boba balls, well cooked. Huge variety and selection. They have a lot of non caffeine options as well. My girlfriend is very particular. She can’t have caffeine and can’t have anything too sweet. She loves to get their cream cheese Taro or honey dew frostys but she asks for no cheese and they accommodate that. And gets 50% sweet. They make it so well and she and I both love their drinks.

I highly recommend their brown sugar, strawberry, honeydew, and taro milk teas. They also have a ton of frosty blended drinks too.

“I always try to stop by R&B tea if I am near one. There aren’t many in San Diego so it’s always a treat if I can get my favorite drink: brown sugar boba milk.

Brown sugar boba milk - my favorite! The fresh milk is so tasty and mixed with a salted cheese foam with brown sugar. (Do not adjust the sweetness down or it won’t be as flavorful.)
Some other R&B locations offer this is a XL size for $2 more, but not this location.

“This place is very interesting. Theres always someone practicing instruments on the little stage but ive never been here for an actual performance.
I asked for a blended Vietnamese milk coffee which isnt on the menu but they whipped it right up.

She knew all the answers to all my questions I had and helped me make my decision. I ordered the lavender Matcha milk tea with sea salt foam 1/2 sweet. Good choice for me, she knew what I would like. You can customize your drink - no ice, less sugar,etc at no extra charge. It’s dangerous for my waistline but worth it. It’s a small shop and there’s not really an area to sit down to hang out. It’s more like an order and go kind place.“

“I enjoyed a beef banh mi from this Vietnamese eatery. The only thing was when I ordered it, I thought it was going to be pieces of grilled beef, like the picture showed and the way the BBQ pork comes, but the beef was more like sliced meatloaf.

The banh mi was good however, just a little on the dry side, the meat that is, but it was well seasoned and tasty. The the sandwich came with fresh Julienned carrots and daikon, fresh sliced jalapenos, and cucumbers. It came garnished with fresh cilantro sprigs, but was missing a spritz of fish sauce. The French baguette was great and are baked in house. I think they should offer a side of fish sauce and/or a hot sauce with the banh mi sandwiches.

The service was friendly. They offer a small amount of inside seating but none outside. They offer a large amount of banh mi sandwiches and milk tea beverages.“

The menu covers the usual flavored drink combos with just as many unique signature flavored drinks. Of course, like the Boba you have the option to get a traditional iced tea or hot cocoa But Why??
