“This is a very nice boba shop but it’s in a rather dirty plaza that often doesn’t have parking. The prices are a bit high, but if you look past all these things, the tea frescas are great and they rotate them so you can come back again and again to try some of the best drinks in the city.“
“The atmosphere at this place is extremely comforting a very welcoming. Among the amazing variety and great taste of coffee, the staff treat you like family. They’re extremely kind and Lollicup is the perfect place to go study or simply just play pool with your friends. My favorite drink is the Montmartre blended with whip cream, reminds me a bit of the dessert dish tiramisu! Super delicious coffee, and great place. The prices are also amazing and very affordable, will def be going here instead of Starbucks now lol. Would definitely recommend to everybody :)Vegetarian options: Many lactose intolerant friendly ingredients.“
“I've tried Dori Boba's drinks twice, and overall, it's been a decent experience. Taro Milk Tea: It was good, a bit sweet for my liking without modifications. The texture, typical of taro milk tea, was slightly grainy but not overwhelming. Boba: Unfortunately, the boba was inconsistent with varying textures--some too chewy, some hard. Seemed like a mix of undercooked, overcooked, and just right. Vietnamese Coffee: Not my favorite; less sweet and a bit bitter compared to what I expected from Vietnamese Coffee. Service has been good, and the cashier is friendly. They offer a 5% cash discount. Despite not being my top choice for boba or Vietnamese coffee, it's conveniently close to work, and I might give it a few more tries. Oh and the interior does have a room for a few people to sit, but I can see how the seating could be uncomfortable if it is really busy.“
“First time visiting. At first I was like where is the parking then I went through the back and found ample parking. You can’t tell from the outside but the inside is absolutely relaxing! I got the taro king and I was soooooo impressed with all the flavors! Hands down one of the best Taro bobas that I’ve had in San Diego so far! I will return and I highly recommend.“
“sooo delicious! i got the roasted brown sugar series the first time i went, i got it with only 75% sugar thinking it was going to be too sweet it was really good! but today i decided i was going to go all out and got 100% sugar it was sooooo gooood not too sweet at all it’s perfectly balanced with the cheese and brown sugar brûlée, it also gives it a roasted marshmallow taste which makes the drink even tastier and the bobaa is so good! this is my favorite boba place for sure!“
“We went here because it was the only place open before 11 AM in the area and we really wanted Boba. however, we were pleasantly surprised by their large selection of drinks, kind, staff, and calm ambience. Their service was quick, and they had some unique drink selections. I personally got the kiwi basil, green tea and added lychee coconut jelly, which was delicious and very refreshing. They said that this was a popular pick and I can see why. Overall, I would definitely come here again!“
“I liked the fact that there were many choices that could be turned hot! Especially with cooler rainy days the hot milk tea feels so good! Prices is reasonable compared to other places. I just suggest to be cautious with the hot as it is super super hot. It took about 20 minutes before I could even try yo sip without scalding my tongue. Will be back!“
“We called the store to place an order and I believe the owner(?) picked up. She let us know that they closed early today, but asked if we were looking for drinks or sandwiches, and offered to still make us drinks! We placed a small order and she was very friendly greeting us at the door and the drinks were great. The store was also very cute and well-kept. Highly recommend and thank you again to the kind lady!“
“Great boba place with a very chill and pleasant atmosphere. There are a ton of options here to choose from that all sound so good. So many that it's almost hard to choose. A little pricey but worth it for the quality and attention to detail. Service was excellent. I highly recommend if you're looking for authentic boba with enough options to customize your drink to exactly your liking.“
“I've been coming here since they first opened! They have the best customer service! Always so friendly so nice and very helpful with what to get! The wait time is no longer than 2-3 minutes literally so quick! They have so many options to choose from and I can say the best Boba fr!“
“Great Boba spot that has been only open for about four months. I thought the flavor was really good and their Boba and pudding were also really good. The inside is very clean and aesthetically pleasing. They also have a little bit of seating outside. Solid place.“
“Decent tea and boba spot, but very limited on choice of items to buy. However, the tea, boba, and waffles are tasty and reasonably priced. It is located in a convenient spot right off the freeway and near other stores and restaurants. It is easy to get in and out with plenty of parking. Service is good. Will likely be returning.“
“Cute shop and interesting choices! I'd come back but because there was only one person working the cash register and making the boba teas, it took a long time just to get one drink. The person at the counter was very nice and helpful. I just felt bad for him because there were 20 other people in the tea spot trying to order or wait for their teas and people kept coming in to order, which delayed the drinks coming out even more. The cashier/barista was a bit overwhelmed. I'd probably go to a tea house that staffs properly next time. The orange jasmine green tea drink was good otherwise!“
“For December nights in balboa this year we tried the bbq pork and the spicy pad kaprao burgers and they were super tasty! I'd never had a burger with the buns switched out for rice. Though I loved the flavors, serving size, and spiciness it was a bit too much rice and the whole thing was pretty sticky. The cooks and people in the booth were super cool and friendly, letting us take pics of them while they made the patties and eggs. We also got the Thai iced tea with boba and again, though it was good, it was a little too sweet and the boba was really gummy. I'm sure their actual location will have better quality and freshness than just a pop up in the park.“
“Great little place! The taro smoothie with soy milk was perfectly creamy and the flavor was spot on. Got 25% sweet and might get even less next time, with extra boba. Only downside is the $1 charge for non cow milk / no dairy. $9.60 total for my drink, so a little expensive to come often.“
“My favorite boba place in San Diego. I’ve tried many others in the area - slow, rude, or both - not ViVi bubble tea. Moderate wait with excellent service. The couple that works in there is extremely professional and polite. The store is well lit and has a welcoming atmosphere. They do charge for drink and extras individually, but overall the most inexpensive area and a great value.. Their waffles are absolutely delicious. The only drawback is the limited parking in the shopping center. I still make it a point to come here once a week. I recommend you try them out!Kid-friendliness: The employees were super nice to my kids.“
“Decent boba and taro milk tea. Overall, I liked the boba. My only complaint, which can be seen in my photo, was that the tea wasn't completely mixed and smooth. There were chunks of granulated purple sugar that brought down the texture and taste of the tea.Wheelchair accessibility: Flat space“
“So Instagram got me. I saw a reel about how wonderful this Sando place was in Chula Vista. I went and bought a bunch of sandwiches because I wanted to try them all. At best, they are okay. However, the egg is amazing. That was my favorite. The fruit sando was okay and the chicken katsu one was just okay as well. The sushi bundles look reasonably priced. Next time I’ll try that.“
“Great late night Thai food. My wife and I ordered the chicken drunken noodles, chicken red curry, mango sticky rice and Thai tea. Everything was tasty and served in good portions. I recommend this place, especially for a late night meal (they closed at midnight when we went on a Tuesday). Server (Tha I believe) was really nice and friendly.“
“This boba shop is my favorite boba shop out of all of the ones I know in Claremont, North Park, and Hillcrest. They use fresh tea bags and also fresh fruit or ingredients. It tastes really good, I liked getting the different yogurt flavors. But for now I will stick with mother's favorite.“
“I came at noon and there were only one customer inside. It's self service and there were two tablets available to place your order. They were able to complete my order in less than 3 minutes. It's my first time to try their avocado milk tea and it didn't disappoint. I asked for 50% sugar and despite having less sugar, the drink is still flavorful and you know they used actual avocado fruit. I would definitely come back to try other flavors. Parking was not too bad as well.“
“The staff barely made said anything, no greeting or friendly remark. But we got the orders quickly and correctly. No dairy free options. Red bean is good. Atmosphere is a normal ice cream shop - bright, no comfortable seating.Parking: Depending on how busy the area is the parking can be easy.Kid-friendliness: Lots of seating. Nothing for them to play with to make a mess (this is a good thing).“
“This might be the cutest boba shop in Convoy -- I love their style. While I haven't tried all of their menu, the things I have tried are up to par with their ambiance. I love their phoenix oolong milk tea with boba and their sausage cheese corn dog (the cheese pull is so satisfying). They can get busy quickly and when that happens, it can take a while to get your order. Additionally parking can be pretty hard to find since the lot is so small. Don't forget to check in on Yelp for a free topping!“
“First time trying this spot. My daughter wanted to try boba because the drinks always look interesting. The staff wasn't very helpful they were aloof and clearly don't understand what it means to have a customer service job....serve the customer make suggestions. Needless to say the staff making the drink was quick and efficient so that's a plus and my daughter liked it. Will we return? If we do, I hope the staff steps up their customer service.“
“Delicious food and a great vibe, with big tables for board games or small tables for studying/ working. Definitely short staffed for a Friday night, though.Parking: Parking is in the back and many of the spots are reserved for the ramen restaurant next door“
“I ordered the strawberry milk tea with boba and it was honestly so delicious! I drank it before I even left the parking lot. I also tried the sour cream and onion French fries, wow! They were awesome - imagine sour cream and onion chips but fries - heaven sent! The service was great - both gentleman I interacted with were so kind and helpful. They were playing bobs burgers so I would say the ambiance was a 10/10“
“Have been a regular customer at this place for a while and I think I should write a honest review for it.There will be some picky; cheapskate; rude customers who left their dramatic reviews on yelp to vent their angers in that moment without thinking about hurting someone's business. Just saying! I would give this place more than 5 if I could. CLEAN -ORGANIZED-GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE ( staffs are sooooo polite and always have a smile on) - DELICIOUS - REASONABLE PRICE. Also I know tip is not mandatory but I don't see why not if they meet all my expectations.“
“By far this is my favorite place on campus. Not only are the owner and her daughter the sweetest people ever and quite possibly the highlight of my day whenever I go in, but their food is incredible!!! Went tonight for a quick bite and left with a delicious beef kabob with potato curry and saffron rice. This place ROCKS and will be missed once I graduate“
“My husband had a company party and I called the night before if there was an option to do catering for 8 people. One of the employees there answered and did her best to answer everything. I ended up getting in touch with the manager (Joyce) and she was extremely helpful. She made sure everything went smoothly. My husband's party was going to be in Encinitas but we live in Santee so Joyce said she could have everything ready in Del Mar where they have another restaurant called Xin Chao Eatery. It was super nice for them to accommodate for us and make things easier so we wouldn't have to stress about the company party. Thank you so much Joyce and Justin for being the best!! I highly recommend their party pack if you're ever thinking about having boba at your party. The boba was still good and fresh too when we had them. Thanks again for your service! ?“
“The fries are so delicious! You can’t go wrong with any of them but the bulgogi fries, Hawaiian chicken chipotle, and the poke fries are to die for! The fries are nice and crispy and hold up really well through the sauce, which they don’t skimp out on! Build your own boba is so easy and they have a great amount of teas, slushes, and toppings. The staff is hands down the best part! They’re always super friendly and helpful! Can’t rave enough about this place!“
“A local mom and pop place in one of the busy plazas of convoy, which I was not surprise. We came here after dinner next door because we wanted something sweet and a dessert to top off our meal. A lot of the ordering was sort of confusing, but we opted to pick their top choices which was advertise on a banner. We got the purple rice yogurt drink and the mango yogurt drink. The dessert comes from Taiwanese culture i believe, but the dessert itself is a blended rice mixture with yogurt based, fruit, and cream. Overall, the drink was decent, but it just missed the mark for me being a dessert after a heavy meal. I was hoping their flavors to be bolder and stand out more, but missed the mark. However; I will still keep this as an option for dessert late night because I love supporting local mom and pop stores.“
“Staff was welcoming, and helpful !Food was surprisingly delicious, we got jalapeño poppers and curly fries and they were yummy. Then we tried the macrons (Reese’s, cotton candy, captain crunch, and lucky charm) they were all pretty good, mostly tasted sweet but the Reese’s was VERY good, it was more complex in flavor than the others. Our boba drinks were also great too !!I recommend their brownie batter drink & their coffee milk tea with coffee jelly !!“
“I first spotted Kung Fu Tea after dining on sushi in the same mini mall. So I went in and saw they had a matcha red bean slush. I'm embarrassed to say that every time I've gone in there, I've ordered the matcha red bean slush. Dang it, I keep saying to myself that I'll try some of their other drinks - there are MANY. But I have found no other tea shop that serves the red beans which I dearly love.“
“I have to knock a star off because they don't have any plant milk options, only that "non-dairy creamer" which has milk proteins in it. They do have a "fresh tea" drink selection so I ordered a rose oolong tea with boba, 70% sweet. It was really good! The tea flavor was strong but properly brewed with no bitterness, and the rose was deliciously aromatic but not overwhelming. Boba were cooked perfectly. It's a shame they have no plant milk options because that eliminates most of the menu for people with milk sensitivity/allergy (and vegans). But it's so great to find a tea place that actually brews good tea. Would do again next time I'm in this area of the country.“
“Outstanding cuisine with excellent quality! The dishes are flavorful, healthy, and incredibly fresh. It offers great value, and the staff is exceptionally friendly. I've frequented this establishment many times and will continue to support this business because I love it! However, my only complaint is that occasionally there's a lengthy wait for food, with 45 minutes being a norm during busy times.“
“i love this place! i hosted a k-pop cup sleeve event here yesterday and the staff was so helpful and amazing with helping me set up and tear down. it's definitely perfect to host a cup sleeve because of how much space there is and you're able to play music videos on their TVs if you ask.cup sleeve event aside, i love that they have savory snacks with their drinks! i think more boba shops need to have savory snacks and they have a great variety. their shrimp tempura is my favorite out of all of them i also very rarely get drinks that are over half sweet but even the regular sweetness isn't overbearing for me. they also have wifi for any students that need to do their work here or if you work remotely and need a change of pace working from home. again, love this place and the staff here so much!“
“You need to try their bbq pork (#5) sandwich and coffee milk. I used to live the in the Philippines where we had a vietnamese rcamp and I loved their bahm mi, this shop reminds me of my childhood. Their sandwiches are amazing. The owner is friendly as well.“
“I love love this place. The drinks are fabulous & can be tailored to your likes on the sweetness. The customer service was good as I was created through the door with friendly faces and was able to pick my drink up promptly by ordering through the app. The establishment is spacious for girls tea or just a group of friends chilling. I will definitely return here as it has now become one of my favorites.“
“We receive amazing amazing amazing service every time we come here. The workers are also so kind and helpful. Their drinks are the best out of any boba shops. You can tell they use high quality teas. Recommend the rose milk tea!We also love their spicy squid. 10/10 every time“
“Ordered 2 Thai Ice Tea with Boba in different sizes. Like the strong flavor with ok boba. Strawberry ice shape is very delicious with fresh ingredients. There are so many variety of beverages and snacks ( Tea, Coffee, Smoothies, fries, popcorn chicken cheesecake and macaroons.) Limited parking.“
“My friend told me about this spot. I ordered a Chamango. My friend got an Oreo Thai Tea. It was actually really good. I'd come back again and try another item from the $8 menu. The wall decor is so cute! The drinks are nice and refreshing. I didn't expect much, but it was really good. Come check it out! I'm posting Instagram reel with my full review.“
“I really liked the setting in this tea shop. They have plenty of artwork and a separate space/room for people, who may want a little more privacy. There were people playing cards, working on their computers, and going on first dates. They had tasty international drinks as well as fresh juice drinks. I had a wintermelon tea and it was delicious.Kid-friendliness: This place can be for anyone. A good place to sit and play a game for a short while.“
“the store is small but spacious enough, very clean. there was a very cute waterfall display piece and the store is connected to a pho place by the same name. plenty of options for teas and the topping options are good too. I got a honeydew smoothie with boba and it was so good. I would love to come back and try “
