“The food is excellent, and the ambiance is lively, authentic, and welcoming. The décor is attractive and creates a pleasant dining experience. The tables are a bit too close together, but overall the atmosphere is enjoyable.

The service could be improved, particularly regarding hygiene practices. While I appreciate that the waitstaff wear gloves, I have noticed that the same gloves are used both for serving food and for clearing dirty dishes. This defeats much of the purpose of wearing gloves and raises concerns about cross-contamination.

Another practice I found troubling is that staff often place their hands inside the takeout containers provided for leftovers. Similarly, hands should never be placed inside clean water glasses or food containers, even when they are empty. Since the same staff members appear to handle both serving and bussing duties, these practices become even more concerning.

Other than these hygiene issues, I genuinely enjoy the food and would happily visit more often. However, I find myself considering these concerns each time I dine here. If these practices were improved, I believe the restaurant could easily earn an even higher rating and strengthen its reputation with customers“

But's this time There was a party of maybe 6 women and they prefer to have the other entrance open so my wife froze her butt off for the whole meal it seems like it was below 0 degrees but all in all we still had a great meal. “My order was for takeout....and it was ready right on time. Everything was absolutely delicious and prices were good! The Satay chicken was tender and flavorful....Pad Woon Sen was fresh and light with crispy vegetables. Cream cheese wontons were great and served as dessert. The portions were generous with plenty left over for a second meal. Pretty sure Little Thai Kitchen is now my favorite Thai food spot!😊“

“I have been craving good Thai for a few years. I have tried some not good and some okay other places. Thai Time is so good. The aromas of the spices tortured my already empty stomach with the enticement of good food to come. I have fallen in love with the food and customer service. I will be back as my budget allows.“

“Newly remodeled. Fast service. Great atmosphere. Went for a birthday party in the outdoor patio. Parking is limited but to be expected for Hillcrest. The vegan basil fried rice was soooo old worth it! I could eat that everyday! Will definitely be back.“

“I come to San Diego often to visit my family, and during one visit I was craving Thai food so we looked up a place nearby and this restaurant came up. Luck was on our side because this turned out to be such a great meal! When my family and I came in we needed a table to seat 6 people and they quickly got a table together for us. I ordered the red curry with vegetables and this place truly lived up to its name! The ingredients tasted fresh and the curry was so delicious. Everyone enjoyed their meal. As we ate and talked we saw a lot of people come in to pick up take out orders, no one else came to dine in. There are a few tables though and I suggest dining in at least once a - we were able to meet the chef/owner and he was such a nice guy. Really seemed to care about each plate that came out. “i tried ping yang on my lunch break today. it’s in a cute and chill market space, seems great for an office lunch out or families. the thai family who run it are really sweet and they were happy to help me pick something to try. ive had a lot of great thai food before, and this place is amazing! i ordered their honey pork rice and LOVE it- it reminds me of other thai bbq pork dishes ive had but the flavor here is beautifully complex with a really perfect hint of black pepper. i also had the chicken teriyaki gyoza, and it is extra crunchy and fantastic. i’ll definitely be back to try their pork belly dish, it looks super good!“

We enjoyed our brisket pho. Meat slices were thick, wish they were tender and the broth was good, might need to be less salt. Tofu pad thai was good, i opt for mild spice 4/10, in case my toddler wants to try it. Me and my husband loved the Ka Na Moo Krob.
We don't know whats it in the water other than the lemon, but it taste good. We appreciate being given big bottles if water instead of waiting for someone to refill. And thank you for keeping the washroom clean.“

“This establishment was very welcoming and provided excellent service. As first-time visitors, we started with the Satay Chicken, which was so good we finished it before getting a photo. I ordered the combination Pad Thai, and my daughter chose the Hot Basil dish, both were well-seasoned, flavorful, and prepared perfectly.

We will definitely be returning. While parking was somewhat limited, the quality of the food and overall experience more than made up for it. Highly recommend giving this place a try.“
