“WOAH. Best banh mi I ever had. They put them on freshly made baguettes that they make (so it’s fresh and crisp)! The chicken and veggies were so perfectly fresh and delicious! Filling and you don’t feel like you ate a heavy sandwich—this the place. The biscoff latte, also the shit. While waiting for my order also got to buy my Asian chili sauce for my house that most Asian restaurants have (if you are a frequent buyer of this, was also a nice convenience!)

“If there’s one place known for Vietnamese coffee, it’s this one. That sweet, creamy, ice-cold brew will keep you wired longer than any energy drink. It’s strong, but in the best way. Don’t even bother asking for less ice because the drink is meant to be diluted. Without it, the coffee is way too concentrated (even their bottled version at Costco says to mix it with ice or water!).

As for the food, their banh mi are always solid. Fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. Prices have crept up over the years, but that’s pretty much everywhere now. Still worth the visit.“

My children had a mango passion fruit tea and Thai ice tea .

“So worth the price and the craving for Italian food. Is it luxury? No but they deliver you good Italian food. Their ravioli with Alfredo sauce and grilled chicken was delicious. Their portions are great for the size and their prices are amazing. You won't be getting delicious Italian food for that price and that quality anywhere else. Hope to order more with them. I asked the cashier for the managers name and they told me it was Cindy. The cashier was already handling multiple orders and she was rushing him but she had an attitude as if she was annoyed I think management needs to look at the way their managers are to their employees.“

We stopped by Bread Head in Manhattan Beach and had to try a little bit of everything! We ordered the Reuben sandwich, turkey pesto with avocado & arugula sandwich, BLAT, and tuna salad sandwich—all served on their delicious homemade focaccia bread. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned.

We added a side of Voodoo chips to one of the orders and tried the maple bottled root beer, which was absolutely delicious and so refreshing!

Seating was readily available both inside and outside, and the outdoor area was clean and inviting. The bathroom deserves a mention too—it had the cutest decor and was spotless. Service was friendly and efficient, and we didn’t have to wait long at all for our food.

The portions were so generous that we each ate half of our sandwiches and took the rest home to enjoy later. I especially loved the little self-serve station by the door where you can pack up your leftovers—such a convenient touch!

This location used to be a Johnny Rockets, so it’s really nice to see the space being put to good use again with a restaurant that offers the community fresh food, great prices, and quality ingredients.

Definitely a spot worth checking out if you’re in Manhattan Beach!
