I'm 6ft 2in and ~225 lbs and couldn't finish my plate and i have enough leftover for a meal tomorrow. The couple behind the counter were very kind and saw me and my gf eyeing the honey chicken and gave us samples. Very cute and sweet, the fruit tea drinks were amazing too. “Had the best food at Smoke Queen Barbecue: the tri tip, chicken, sausage, ribs, and delicious sides were all fall off the bone fantastic. Try the sesame slaw with spicy cucumbers, macaroni and cheese and fries. We loved the banana pudding, bread pudding, beers on tap, all with a great smile and playground to enjoy with our family. If you haven’t tried Smoke Queen Barbecue, you are missing out. So scrumptious!“

“For the moderate price and ambiance, it all worked. Two adults and two preteens who eat out often. The chicken lettuce wrap was spot on. Crispy, clean, non-soggy lettuce; perfectly seasoned, savory chicken. We can eat this anytime. The crab wontons were good; they just needed a little more seasoning. Cucumber salad was spot on for summer: fresh, lively & crunchy. The children's sweet and sour chicken and kid's Lo Mein resulted in two clean plates. The only thing we did not like and sent back was the lychee lemonade: water with tons of sugar, really like twice the sugar of a soda can, no taste of lychee, and vague chemical lemony. Service was good, attentive and cordial. We will come back.“

“We ordered a take out order for the first time. We've been wanting to try Silver Palace and we're so glad we did! We had walnut shrimp, Kung pao chicken, egg rolls, chicken chow mein and fried rice. All of it was so delicious and the servings were very generous. We'll be back!“

“This place has been in the community for decades and they’re well known for Korean owner but great, very decent reasonable prices and the black ink noodles. I had been to this place over 3 decades. Used to go here with my kid and/or with his friends & cousins. I also had through family Christmas for a group of 70 people. The place is big and can handle over 250 people easily with private rooms and common area. Parking is easy since they do have a good size of parking lot. Clean and simple but Chinese vibe for sure. The staff here are very nice, attentive, helpful and only guys (have not seen a woman beside the cashier or owner at the front desk). The menu has plenty & simple of typical Chinese or American/Chinese dishes. Don’t get me wrong, I like it and reminded me of the early years. Easy and fast turn around for sure. Tasty and nice portion, it’s not the best nor the worst but worth it for the price and yummy. This place used to be Packed all the time during lunch time or weekends & holiday. But it easy less these days. Took my kid and went here for late late lunch or very early dinner so just 3-4 tables but same taste, consistency and nice, warm service. So glad I stopped by, been a long time since I was here.“

the beef rolls were definitely my FAV. super crispy and crunchy on the outside with such a savory filling. i would honestly come back just for these 😭

the garlic noodles were so fragrant, garlicky, buttery, and perfectly chewy. you also HAVE to order the mapo tofuuu!!! the flavors just hit different 🤌🏼 so rich, savory, a little spicy, and sooo good with rice.

the sweet and sour spare ribs had the perfect balance of sweet and tangy, and the fried rice was yummy, simple, and comforting ♡

we also tried their new corn cheese with shrimp and it was such an interesting combo!! super creamy and cheesy, so if you love cheesy stuff you’ll definitely enjoy this one 🧀🍤

all of their flavored teas are really good too, but the strawberry yogurt drink was my favorite 🍓 it’s creamy, refreshing, and not too heavy.

For Norwalk I think this is one of better Chinese food places. Easy parking also. If you are nearby and want Chinese food, definitely recommend. They do delivery too.“

Opted for the beef bone broth; however, there was a taste/smell to it, reminiscent of lamb (I only got beef), which was unexpected and a bit off-putting for me.

Service: Decent. While it isn't a standard sit-down restaurant, be prepared to be charged a gratuity for a party of six or more.

“Amazing experience over 4th of July weekend. Perfect location kiddos were able to run in the open space/water fountain area right in front of patio seating. “Tasty Goody in Norwalk is hands down the best Chinese food place this side of the Mississippi. I go there whenever I want some ? orange chicken, and it never disappoints. The portions are huge, and the prices are great for how much food you get. The orange chicken has the perfect amount of crunch and sauce, and the noodles are always fresh. I’ve tried a lot of places, but nothing really compares to Tasty Goody. Plus, the people there are super nice and quick with your order. Definitely my go-to spot for Chinese food.“

“Ok so we used to lived down the street from here. Approximately 2014 to 2015. One of those places that I get this nostalgia feeling...before we had our kids and before we have what we have now. The days of struggle. We used to get their deal buy 3 get 1 and we would eat it for a week. We just moved to California. We opened our clothing store and everything was tight budget. But this place in more ways saved us. They have the best bbq chicken in town and their portions is massive still...12 years later. “I love this place! One of the servers is great, she always fills my plate. However, today at about 12:30pm I went to pick up lunch and the server, short lady, not the one who is normally there. Was literally talking on the phone the whole time I’m ordering my food. What bothered me is that I asked for sauce on the side but being she’s on the phone she apparently didn’t hear me and poured the sauce on the food. I lacked to check and once I get back to my destination my sweet and sour chicken is all soggy. Get off your phone be professional so you can pay attention to what is being asked from the customer.“

Most of the Chinese food in Long Beach is actually pretty disgusting to be honest. It’s just quick grabbing go places. This restaurant, Dan, Dan, modern and a couple near Bixby Knowles are pretty decent, but Long Beach is not known for their Chinese food if you want Cambodian or you want Vietnamese there’s tons of options and great Thai, but definitely not Chinese

This is actually a great spot but the one issue I have is customer service. It just seems like everyone’s kind of bummed or not really excited to be there except for the manager. I was impressed one time. She actually brought my food out to the Alley because there’s no parking.
