But, in this singular case, I felt absolutely obligated to mention what an exceptional place Lofi is.
The experience starts with the people: Craig exceeded every expectation, going well out of his way to accommodate a difficult wine pickup schedule. He didn't just listen; he absorbed our preferences and offered insightful, perfect recommendations. The true measure of their quality is this: I don't even like natural wine, and yet, I am now a member of their club.
In a sea of overpriced, overhyped romcom backdrops masquerading as winemakers, Lofi is a breath of fresh air. They champion unique varietals and deliver something truly distinct while maintaining an incredible price point. This is genuine quality and exceptional value.“

“We had the best time wine tasting with Kiana this past week. She guided us through all the different wines and provided very interesting info about Sanford, the area, the different types of wines, etc. She made our wine tasting experience so fun and informative! The wines were delicious, we loved them all and appreciated the variety. The property is also beautiful and fun to spend time at.

“We chose Babcock Winery after reviewing the website. Our visit was everything we hoped for - a relaxing, casual and informative wine tasting experience. Jason, friendly and knowledgeable, poured the wine while offering facts about the origin of the fruit and the wine makers approach for each wine in the flight. The winery has a large indoor area and comfortable seating. We opted for one of the outdoor shady patio spaces where we could sip and enjoy snacks from home. A bonus was the company of the black winery cat. Two favorites were selected for purchase before we left Babcock Winery, the 2023 Radical Pinot Noir and the 2023 Top Cream Chardonnay.“
“Had a spectacular time at Tomi Cellars. Boyd has some fabulous wines and he shared some interesting facts about winemaking that I hadn't heard before. Out of a day of wine tasting, this was by far my favorite stop of the day. Great service in a cool spot. Highly recommend!“
“This was our favorite winery that we went to on our Santa Barbara trip.
The service here is absolutely amazing! Logan, Nick, and Carson were great, very friendly family vibes. They went above and beyond to help us with whatever we needed.
The wine was also great, we unexpectedly ended up bringing home a box of bottles. Our favorites were the Chardonnay and the Gamay.
The views of the place are also so pretty - you really get to leave the city and roads and be in the midst of nature among the sheep and vines. It was a shame it was cloudy when we went, but definitely would be great for some insta-worthy pictures if not!“
“We were hosted by Katrina who took us on a guided tour through the vineyard followed by wine tasting. It was such an exquisite experience!!! Katrina gave us a feeling that we are the most important guests on earth, and was very knowledgeable about the wines and vineyard’s history. The wines and olive oil we tasted were fantastic, and the beautiful vineyard together with Katrina’s outstanding hosting - made it into a top notch experience. You should not miss an opportunity to do this wine tasting at Pence!!!“

“This spot is in a lot with other wine tasting rooms and it’s a solid spot. This review is from a casual wine drinker.I just had their tasting that had about 6-7 wines and it was a solid set of offerings. The interior was very welcoming and the outside patio is a good spot to take a date. “I first visited in 2010 during a Stagecoach wine tour. Jeff and his wine were equally amazing. I joined his club that day and remain a member today.
We have since returned several times for tastings and visiting with the horses on his ranch. Each visit has been exceptional. This week we spent a night in the guest house, which is available for rent. The accommodations were excellent, and only overshadowed by Jeff and Joanne's hospitality and generosity. Jeff spent hours riding with my daughter and providing her with invaluable education and training.
If you are considering a wine tasting in Buellton or Solvang, you should go on a tour with Stagecoach and request a visit to Bella Cavalli. If you are looking for a great place to stay in the area, I cannot recommend Bella Cavalli more strongly.“
“Fantastic experience, Danica was an excellent host. They will tailor to/help with finding wines you like. If you’re in the Santa Maria, this stop is well worth your time. We had a blast. Tasting fee of $25 or $35. A great value in my opinion
They took us through a range of different chardonnays and Pinot noirs. We liked every single one of them. Beautiful facility too, with a good view.“

“One of the employees, I think his name was T, greeted me with enthusiasm and was super kind, he helped me choose my favorite wine and when I was done, he helped me carry my stuff to the car. “My husband and I came down for a visit to Santa Barbara from Sonoma. We wanted to experience Santa Barbara’s wines ( made famous by the movie “ Sideways” ) We’re used to exceptional wine produced in our Sonoma valley. Rivahill was a pleasant surprise! I could tell from the outside of their tasting room with their logo and the way the wine was displayed so beautifully, it had to be good ( I was right!) they mainly focus on Rhône varietals. Each crisp, refreshing, and full of fruit and not too heavy ( their Syrah 2016 is exceptional! As are all of their wines!) to summarize, run don’t walk! to Rivahill where you will be made to feel welcome and where you can experience exceptional wines ( yes even by our Valley of The Moon/ Sonoma standards!)“

“I really like this winery. They are very friendly and generous folks, and they make wide variety of wines, which are quite good and are very reasonably priced, inexpensive by Santa Ynez Valley standards. They're located a bit farther out Foxen Canyon Road than most other wineries, but it's well worth the few extra minutes of driving to get there. Their tasting room is normally open only on weekends, but you can call ahead to make an appointment for a tasting on a weekday.“

“What an amazing space and not to mention amazing wine to go with it. Sitting down for an afternoon tasting on the back patio was truly delightful, hands down best place to have a glass of wine or three in Los Alamos! The staff was very helpful and we ended up enjoying the wine so much we took some home...Pinot Noir '14 was definitely a treat.“
