Pricing was more reasonable than other vendors in the Sonoma / Napa area. Only wish that I had a chance to try all 7 flavors on the night of (or asked for a to-go container). The ice cream’s also really great here too. They have a good milk ice cream. I also like their cookies and cream ice cream. They also change up the pairing of their swirls ice cream, so it’s nice to drop by and see which flavors they’ve paired up for swirls this time. I also like how they make the ice cream fancy. You can get a waffle fish on top of your ice cream. Also you can add toppings like sprinkles or Oreo crumbs. And like adding a cherry on top, you can add mini macaron or a strawberry.

The inside is new and clean. There’s not a lot of seating area on the inside, but it’s still pretty popular in the evenings and people just stand around on the inside or outside of the store.

The service is good. I like how you order at the kiosk ordering station. They can take some time to make the takoyakis, but you can watch them make the takoyakis from behind the glass at the counter. Also since this place is so popular you sometimes have to wait for them to make your ice cream too, but I don’t mind the wait because their ice cream concoctions are worth it.

Stopped by for some gelato and was really impressed by the variety of flavors, especially the lactose-free (vegan) options. Got to try three samples, and all of them were smooth, flavorful, and well-balanced. It can be hard to find good dairy-free gelato, but they nailed the texture—creamy and satisfying without feeling icy or thin.

Service was friendly and efficient, and there was no long wait, making it an easy stop for a quick treat. The setting is nice, though more of a grab-and-go spot than a place to sit and linger.

“Among all of us we had the Rose, Kulfi, vanilla, strawberry, chocolate, and also the puppy icecream. All the flavors were really nice and you could see real vanilla bean powder, nuts in the different flavors. Pepper did not stop licking till her icecream was done and then was looking for more. “First time here. Got a Rusa and a strawberry crepe. The Rusa is delicious. There is so much packed into one thing (pineapple, mango, orange, tamarindo straw, chammoy, tajin and squirt, and it is so delicious. Tart, sweet, sour, and most importantly, refreshing. The crepe was soft and warm. Freshly made, too. Next time i go, I'll definitely try the ice cream. They have so many flavors to choose from. The staff were very polite and attentive. “She is now located in front of Tere’s Boutique near the Chavez Supermarket by Middlefield Road.I love her raspados so much! I used to get them after church growing up. Her recipes are delicious and traditional. My favorite one is the raspado de Guanábana (soursop). It’s perfectly sweet and the pieces of fruit are delicious. I have also tried and liked her limon, rompope, vainilla, coco, nuez, mango con chile and chicle flavors.I recommend also trying their tostilocos with everything plus extra hot sauce. They are super delicious and a very generous size. Her fruit cups are also really good. The fruit is always perfectly ripe and fresh.Definitely recommend when you’re in Redwood City. All her antojitos are delicious, fresh and never overpriced. Great value, taste and quality.“

The Churrito bubble waffle was very good and being so hot outside it cooled be down. I dont think it's worth the cost either though. They give you half a churro and one scoop of ice cream. I can buy a bubble waffle somewhere else and a small pint of ice cream for same price.

So be aware that the food is good but you are better off going to downtown San Jose to La michoacana ice cream parlor. This place is just convenient that’s about it.“

All of the employees (except one who plays such obnoxious music that even I won't go inside the store) are exceptionally nice and helpful. Otherwise, the music played in very entertaining and appropriate. And they DO give samples! But not until after you buy, and they call it something else besides a sample.
