“Tranquil spot with various omakase options. Came here with my family for an early dinner and made a reservation online beforehand. We opted for the Sushi Bar Omakase for $109 which came with 8 courses (including dessert). A couple of courses had multiple pieces, and we left very full. The blue crab hand roll was my favorite part; it was huge, hot, and the sauce that accompanied it was delicious. The fish was super fresh and the pieces kept coming. It was fun to watch them being prepared right in front of us at the bar (there are table seats as well). We enjoyed our meal and I would recommend this for special occasions or a way to treat yourself.“

“Tonight we were blessed by the presence of Royce 🙏 He greeted us with care and was super nice. We purchased the Ahgassi combo and everything was super delicious because it was cooked well by Royce. We also ordered the Dae Gopchang and the Yook Hwe (raw meat) which were also delicious. The meat was well attended to and the atmosphere was very chill. The music playing in the background was great because the playlist was FIRE 🎶🔥 If you want a good experience at this restaurant, you should definitely request Royce to cook for you! He made our first dinner in Los Angeles an unforgettable one! 🫶“

“This is the K town classic. It first opened in 1982. Since then it became the place to get authentic Korean BBQ and signature dongchimi noodle. I still remember the first time I tried their noodle and I was so blown away. When it comes to dongchimi noodles, they are on the top tier.“

“Had a great experience here. The service was great, someone was over at our table cooking our food frequently. We had unlimited Kbbq, access to the buffet, and sides. The premium option was worth the money. They also have a great selection of cocktails. Definitely recommend.“

“We ate inside at the counter and tried a little bit of a few things off the menu. The sweet & spicy fried chicken and fried chicken dumplings were delicious. 😋🍴 We also tried the bulgogi and spicy chicken bowl and both were so delicious. As a side note, the man that waited on us (not sure if it was the owner or not) was very nice and hospitable. ☺️“

“I had the best time here! I’m usually overwhelmed by bbq spots like this, but the service made it very easy and fun. Luis, thank you for being so kind and energetic! We loved having you as our server. All of the food was incredible. It’s a great spot for groups especially with the preset menu. Will be coming back again soon!“

“Just finished a fabulous dinner at the DTLA location! We got the Block Bowl and a Combo plate with Brisket and Pulled Pork - everything was delicious, the service was really warm and friendly, and the whole vibe was great! We’ve been eyeing this place for awhile and will definitely be back!!“

“I thought it was great for what it was. No thrills, no frills, no muss, no fuss food stand in a front yard.
I definitely enjoyed the atmosphere, and the vendors were incredibly friendly. The wait was unbearable, but I was also eager to enjoy my food. It really only took like 30 minutes. I don't believe they have parking, and finding some in South Central is a nigh insurmountable endeavor. So plan accordingly.
I genuinely don't know what traditional and/or fresh tlayudas are like, but these are probably as close as I can get without going to Mexico. Tasajo and chorizo were both delicious, but preferred the tasajo, 100%. I'm not brave enough to try the moringa.“

“This is the best BBQ I’ve had in LA. Tried for the first time yesterday - had the brisket and ribs and both were fantastic. Brisket was incredibly tender and the ribs were as well. Mac and Cheese was rich and delicious, greens had a little bite which is a perfect contrast to the richness of everything else we had. Delicious BBQ sauce, enjoyed the sweet slightly more than the spicy but both were great. I can’t wait to come back and try more sides.
Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed!“

“I brought my grandmother, aunt, and husband here and they loved it! The quality of the beef was amazing.
We got the A combo (medium) and it was so much food! We got cold noodles and 육회 as well. Our server was amazing too!! So nice and very clean :) will come back again!“
“Parks2Go has been our go-to spot whenever we have a large gathering at home. Not only is the meat quality as phenomenal as eating at the restaurant, but they ensure everything is packed up well with ice for travel. Sauce, kimchi and banchans are fantastic.
They even saved our Thanksgiving dinner this year with delivering the missing LA Galbi from our order. ❤️Parks and their amazing staff!!“

“I accidentally went to this place. The best accident I made with food decisions, their food is great, the chicken was juicy and tender, the flavor of the teriyaki was perfect, not too sweet. The amount of food they give is enough for two servings and the greatest part, their prices are shocking I got two meals for four servings under $20. And last the workers were very pleasant.“

“New sprawling kbbq place that is always busy which is a good thing. They have all of the favs like brisket, pork belly, finger rib meat. All the cuts are great quality. Expect to wait for a while if on a weekend night. Service gets slow if there are a lot of people. They will also help you cook your food but be expected to cook yourself.“

“The best AYCE Korean bbq restaurant. Meat quality is top-notch. They grill the meat for you but still allow you to enjoy the food at your own speed. I tried almost every meat and my favorite is the marinated beef rib with bone. It melted in my mouth. I love it and will come back.👍🏻“

“My sister and I were in LA for a convention and decided to celebrate her birthday dinner at Genwa. We ordered the course for two, and every dish was fantastic. The spread of banchan was plentiful and flavorful, and the BBQ meats were cooked to perfection. Anna took such great care of us—she answered all of our questions and even helped with the grilling, which made the experience extra enjoyable. We never felt rushed and were able to take our time savoring the food and the whole KBBQ experience. To top it all off, the staff surprised my sister with pandan ice cream and sang happy birthday, which made the evening so special. Highly recommend Genwa for both the food and the service!“

“Came to Chinatown to look for a place to eat lunch. We ended up here and ordered 2 noodle dishes - beef chow fun and singapore noodles. The beef chow fun was delicious and spot on! The singapore noodles were good but the roast pork was a bit dry. I also thought the noodles lacked curry but my husband said it was fine. The portions were HUGE. We ended up taking the rest of the food home. For the price we paid, it was definitely worth it. Waitstaff was quick and courteous.“

“The place to go for delicious pork kbbq! I highly recommend the thick pork belly, marinated pork ribs, and the corn cheese. The pork marinade was flavorful and not as sweet as other kbbq places. They give a nice variety of side dishes which were really good with the pork belly.
The service was also top notch. Very attentive and friendly.“

“Everything here is good. I do wish they would add fish cakes but other wise amazing and they cook for you which is always great for pork dishes. Not everything is poor don’t let the name deceive you . The Korean barbecue I now take everyone from out of town. It used to be Parks, but this place is so much better, especially pricewise. You can easily get out of there at $50 per person tax and tip.“

“It was my first time at this place, on a friend’s recommendation. The cumin spiced meat was so great!
Usually not a fan of lamb, but the lamb skewers from this place was pretty good, and it also didn’t stink too badly.
The beef kebab was amazing too, the beef was tender and well marinated! The chicken kebab felt a bit dry and not as flavourful compared to the other so I would not recommend.
It’s a good place to socialize as you needed to wait for the skewers to be grilled.
Went on a Saturday, around 730pm, and waited around 30-45 mins for the table to be ready, but this was WELL worth the wait!“

“The food is fire! The service is mediocre, and the atmosphere is trash (literally). There was a city trash can right outside the restaurant door overfilled with garage and reeking of piss. As for inside of the restaurant, it is very small and crammed. You’re almost standing on top of other people as you wait in line to order or wait for your food to be ready.
As for the food… wow!! 10 out of 10. I ordered the Koren fried chicken (sweet & spicy) and a side of steamed rice. I cannot wait to go back and order this again. I killed the entire meal and did not leave anything behind. My wife ordered the Spicy Mayo Chicken bowl and the Fried Chicken Dumplings. The portion size was huge! She could not finish it. The spicy sauce was too spicy and overpowered the flavor of the chicken, rice, and veggies. Rating this bowl a 4 out of 10 on the spicy overkill.
The prices here are AMAZING! We only spent $25 for our food, drove to Manhattan beach, and enjoyed it while watching the sunset. Our food was still hot after the 35 min drive.“

“Last minute decision to eat and was craving yakitori. Upscale atmosphere and small quaint space. Good quality and flavors! Food was steaming hot and fresh (obviously). My least favorite was steak and they were sold out of the beef sliders. My husband’s favorite was the cod. We pretty much tried everything off the menu, there were hits and a few misses. I liked the chicken skin, duck and pork belly. Didn’t love the steak. A great option is their dinner and it includes a variety of skewers (their most popular ones. Service was ok, a bit slow and it wasn’t busy at the time. We had to wave them down to ask for most things and their rice took an abnormally long time to arrive at the table. We brought our 4 year old and his review was “10/10”! He said he liked the rice the most LOL. Also, make a reservation! We called in ahead of time and luckily since it was a weekday and early dinner they gave us a table. It was definitely very crowded for dinner time.“

“Our favorite (non AYCE) Korean bbq (thanks to our friend Heny for the recommendation) Great quality of meat, great service, and great ambiance. So many other options if you’re not feeling Korean Bbq, we like to order their soup and spicy cold noodle. And we love that it’s located in our favorite Madang plaza in Ktown.“
