“Hi I came in a a week or two ago and finally getting around to doing a review . I had the best time and Danielle was the best host, so glad we stopped in and got some red wine . I came in with a few others on the way to a comedy show ...I was performing in. I enjoyed the red wine and am thinking of getting a membership there. I'll be back when I'm in the area, which is regularly.!One of the better places I've been !“

“I think I just found the best tasting room in Los Olivos! Terre et Sang is my friends’ and family’s favorite winery in the SYV, and it’s now become mine too. Fantastic service, unforgettable wines, and such a warm experience offered here.

Each wine is exquisite. Do yourself a favor and try each at least once.

Theanna was our host and took such great care of us, dogs and baby included. The winemakers, Dalita and Duncan, were there during my visit and shared all about their process and backstory.

“The wines are phenomenal, thus why my wife and became members a few years ago. This Gleason Family winery is also a very attractive and amazing facility. The grounds are beautiful, and the tasting room gets you right into the ranch vibe. The staff that work here are by far the reason we love to come. There is a lot of amazing wine in the valley but it is the people wine educators and the rest of the staff that make this place the one you want to come to. The staff here to include Dean, Janet, and a special shout out to our special Susan all make us feel like family. We try and make the drive up whenever we can to visit and see our friends here at Refugio Ranch. Thanks again to all of you for making this place a wonderful spot to spend our weekends. They also have the private Ranch tasting at the vineyard for members which is a very special treat. If you are in the area please come in and visit!“

“Wonderful way to pass the time with great friends and tasty wine. Our Buckeye reunion group spent a Saturday afternoon at a Future Perfect tasting. Sonny was the perfect host and did a great job educating us on what makes her wine stand apart from the others. We placed an order to enjoy at home. The delivery arrived quickly.
Shared a bottle of Savi B with family tonight. It was enjoyed by everyone.
If in the area, I highly recommend relaxing on the porch at Future Perfect with a glass, a bottle, or flight.“

“We discovered Dreamcote a few years back. The atmosphere and aesthetic are on point. They offer both sparkling and wine tasting. When being explained the wines as someone who is an average wine drinker, I can really level with the flavor notes being delivered. The wine here definitely stands out, Love the atmosphere here and would highly recommend this place over most.l“

“So many places to choose from. How does one decide which one to go to.

Theoretically one can go to all of them- you need gumption or time or no driving later or a place to stay in LO or a lot of money or all of the above. Coming from far away Dubai, we had to choose one and we chose SoS- and we are glad we did. All the wines were very good- my favourite though was the Gamay. Very light and with an afterthought of a taste.

Alyssa (hope I got the name right) was amazing. Explained all the stuff about the wines. Very well travelled (best of luck traveling to Italy to try out the wines this time).

All wines in neutral oak. Enjoyed ourselves.

“Excellent wine. We visited on Tuesday and Friday, and had both Sabrina and Noreen pour for us. Both made for a very informative, and enjoyable experience in a very relaxing setting. Just the perfect way to enjoy an afternoon.

Each of their Syrahs is quite excellent, and unique. They truly have some of the most fragrant noses I've ever experienced with wine. It's very apparent that they put a lot of individual attention into each of their bottlings.“

“We had the opportunity to visit Grimm's Bluff and were blown away. We loved the private vineyard tour. The grounds were beautiful and we learned so much from Ashlyn as she introduced us to the property. The wine is STUNNING - unique and delicious, and different from SY valley. Ashlyn was a wonderful host and we can't wait to come back.“

“This is the E11even tasting room, which is Andrew Murray's second label. While Andrew Murray Vineyards is delicious and has some standouts, we both prefer E11even, and as a bonus - they're more affordable. Becoming a member here also gets you the member perks at Andrew Murray as well. The sauv blanc, petit syrah, petit verdot, and cab franc are all standouts.

Alice usually runs the tasting room solo, and she's awesome. Loads of info and always up for a friendly chat. Well worth stopping by!“

“This is a smaller tasting room, but nicely laid back. Becca loves sharing what she knows about wine and learning about what works for YOU and why. Prolly would have gone home with a few bottles anyway but Becca made the experience even better. Plus they feature plenty of unusual varietals. Malvasia? Never even heard of it!“

“If you are visiting Solvang CA, it is worth the short drive to visit this tasting room. We were delighted by our wine steward Izzy, who really took time to answer all of our questions. Her knowledge on the subject was very impressive. We especially enjoyed their Syrahs. We visited in late October and the weather was beautiful.“

“When making your list of wineries to visit when you're in town, don't forget Zach Mesa! I think on the Foxen road it's become one of my favorites to visit for both the wine and the relaxed atmosphere. I LOVE the Tread label. Specifically the Pinots are fantastic. I think the other one that I loved was the Z-Three. This place is very kid friendly and even have some chickens on site and a giant chess board. Very nice, relaxed place with fantastic wine!“

“This was our favorite winery that we went to on our Santa Barbara trip.

The service here is absolutely amazing! Logan, Nick, and Carson were great, very friendly family vibes. They went above and beyond to help us with whatever we needed.

The wine was also great, we unexpectedly ended up bringing home a box of bottles. Our favorites were the Chardonnay and the Gamay.

The views of the place are also so pretty - you really get to leave the city and roads and be in the midst of nature among the sheep and vines. It was a shame it was cloudy when we went, but definitely would be great for some insta-worthy pictures if not!“

“We had a great experience this weekend. We only stopped to pick up our shipment but the lady welcomed us and convinced to stay for a tasting. We had a wonderful person help us who was studying for his somelier test and told us about the wine and a recent trip to India.“

“SUNDAY FOOD REVIEW...PANINO...5/25/25!\n\nToday we met up with Jill for lunch at Panino, located at 2900 Grand Ave., in Los Olivos. We have eaten here twice before, but I never did a review of this wonderful sandwich shop, so it was time! I had their #8 Italian Combo Sandwich, which consists of Prosciutto, Genoa Salami, Aged Provolone Cheese, mayo, and Balsamic Vinegar, topped off with Greens, Tomato, Cucumber, Red Onion, and Fresh Basil (I opted not to have the bell pepper). This sandwich was SOOO DELICIOUS, just as I remember it to be!!!! Everything was very fresh tasting!!! If you love eating great sandwiches, definitely check this place out!!!! They have a huge selection of sandwiches for all tastes!! I highly recommend it!!!!\nMy rating: 10++++“
