“Lots of great Mexican restaurants around but if you want a nice sit down and chat atmosphere then this is the place in Diamond Springs. We've been here several times and we're new to the area. Never been disappointed.
Update: Usually have the chimichanga and love it, tried the super nachos and am happy to have another tasty dish on my list. Next time, bacon avocado burger.“

“I stopped for lunch today and my burrito was promptly served, and was one of the best tasting that I've had in awhile. I also appreciated that the salsa was super fresh, and I noticed that the whole restaurant was very clean. I'll be sure to remember this place, when I'm working in the area.“

“Had no expectations but WOW did this place deliver. You can tell everything is homemade with lots of love and practice. Portions are HUGE for the price. I will be dreaming of the sopes with birria for years to come. My only suggestion would be to add a bit more salt to the chips and try a different way of keep them warm. They were a bit stale in the hot drawer.
Otherwise, this place deserves on the Michelin Guide.“

“I've tried most burritos in the Cameron Park area and this one is my favorite. A lot of burritos need hot sauce to add some flavor. This one doesn't, but their sauces add a lil' something extra if that's your thing. All of their meat options are good, but I like the Al Pastor. Quick, solid, tasty burrito. Can't go wrong here“

Its hard to find a carniceria around this area and even harder to find good carne asada. I discovered this place on a whim and I am so glad I did. I purchased marinated flank steak to bbq at home and OMG, the quality of meat and their marinade is chef's kiss! We purchased a few of their pastries and was highly impressed, the concha's were soft and fresh and horejas crisp and delicious. These pastries were so good that my mom went back the next day and purchased a whole dozen of their pastries.“

Every time we eat here, the food never disappoints, no matter what we order. Today was a quick lunch... the chicken taquitos and carnitas were delicious. Try the carnitas, so good. The complimentary chip/salsa bar offers a variety of heat levels. They also have a good variety of beers and bottle drinks, plus fountain drinks. “I love this place and give it five stars for atmosphere because you feel at home here. It's a small restaurant with a few tables indoors (tables are not too crowded) and two tables outdoors. The food is excellent. My partner loves the burritos, quesadillas and tacos. I love the crispy chicken tacos, their beans and salad. I haven't tried the chile rellenos yet but that is a dish that I love, and i'm sure they make it well. Their homemade salsa is excellent, as well as their homemade red mole sauce and they make and fry their tortilla chips in house.“

“My family and I love Jimboy's Tacos. The staff is friendly and always recognized us when we walked in the door. I don't usually like fast food Burritos ( I make my own at home), I love Jimboy's burritos they taste like the burritos that my Mexican friends make. Unfortunately, we no longer live in California and there is no Jimboy's where we live. We really miss it and will definitely visit whenever we are California“

“Came in by myself with a large order (picking up for 6 people) and had the best experience I have had at this store. Jessica was able to rapidly put together each of my bowls and about a million side orders for my kids, all with a smile on her face. Wade was right on top of baggging everthing up and finishing out the last few things I needed, had me rung up and out the door really quickly. Cool thing was that even though I was in and out in less than 8 minutes, they both still took the time to be super freaking friendly and make absolutely no mistakes.
I have a happy household tonight, and it was all a feel good experience.
Thanks guys, y'all really restored my faith tonight.“
