I called around to several places and with very slow response times and abruptness directing me back to the website for Uber delivery. The host and manager Spencer followed up on the order and went out of the way to make sure it was a great experience for the group and the stressed out person (me:) trying to coordinate for the group. “Tucked away behind a blue door, is a classy speakeasy-themed bar with smashing decor, fabulous drinks, and mixologists with finesse. This clean, sleek gem of a place is my favorite place to have a unique cocktail and bites. The lighting is cozy and on certain nights they have live music. Go, check it out. You can stop by the main restaurant and/or step back in time and enjoy this spiffy and sophisticated spot. Love it.“

“Have dined at Pearl District many times over the years for special occasions or just a nice evening out. It's always consistently delivered in great customer service and quality food. Offers great drink options and also an extensive wine list (by the glass or bottle). Some of the standout dishes are the "pan roasted wild mushrooms", "braised short ribs", filet mignon & branzino. For dessert the "wonder bar" is a must!“

“Somewhat disappointed by the fresh fish selections today. Started strong with excellent bread and butter, but the mains were slightly underwhelming. I ordered a half dozen Morro Bay oysters but my main came before them, which I thought was odd. My main was perfectly prepared sand dabs that somehow had no flavor. My companion's fresh catch, rock white fish, was drab. The sides, brussel sprouts burnt beyond recognition and maple glazed squash that was flavorful but a little underdone for my taste. My companion's sides were rudimentary, spinach and potatoes. We skipped dessert as they no longer offer the mint chip sundae. Our server was disinterested and although polite it felt forced. The snafu with the timing of the oysters was a problem for me.“

“The food was great, vibe was amazing.
The staff were nice, but the food took for ever, be ready to wait about 45 minutes for your food to arrive.
Might not come back here just for this reason and this only if we are planning on dinner.
Having that said, if you are craving drinks, definitely your spot is here.“

“This place is ten minutes from my house but the Angeleno along us is the one who found it and invited us there! Nice outdoor seating if you don’t want to be indoors; the cute menu includes vegetarian options and nice cocktails (though not poured deep); we lived our options. I got the impossible taco salad (Impossible crumbles replaced regular hamburger taco meat); my son had a Pepperoni flatbread; he pointed out to us that (per the menu)a dollar from every sale of that pizza goes to children’s charities. Gotta like a place that gives back! 💙 The Reuben was phenomenal. The wait staff was pleasant, courteous, and cheerful. We will be back!“

“Absolutely beautiful restaurant! The atmosphere immediately transports you to a festive Mexican scene. Happy hour at the bar was perfect-expertly made cocktails and visually appealing food with great flavor. A minor note: chips and dip are an à la carte order, not complimentary. Can't wait to return and try the rest of the menu!“

“When we arrived a large party, with lots of noisy kids, were preparing to leave. However, it took them a while, so it was noisy and chaotic. But, when they left we really enjoyed the peace and quiet of the outdoor patio. You never believe you're sitting next to the very busy parking lot. Kevin was our waiter, again. He was very apologetic for the chaos and, as on previous occasions, very friendly and efficient. My friend wasn't hungry, so she only ate 1/2 of her 1/2 roasted beet salad. She did enjoy it and took the rest to go. I had my usual pasta with goat cheese and marinara sauce. I was hungry and ate my entire dish, whereas I normally take half to go. It was delicious, of course. Overall, we had a nice lunch and catch up. I'll be back.“
