Venice is full of the fancy and the pretentious and the chains and divey street vendors but here is an unassuming place where you can get a good beer tasty glass of wine and some fine food for some of the best prices anywhere west of the 405. Actually decent alfresco seating on the north side on a neighborhood side street off of Lincoln. Get a sandwich and a fry and have a beer and don't put a hole in your pocket. “Great, very casual breakfast and lunch restaurant very close to LAX. We arrived home very late and stayed overnight at the LAX Hyatt regency. The Original Rinaldi's is on the same side of the street and less than one block from the Hyatt Regency. We did not want an expensive hotel breakfast. Walked in to Rinaldi's and got a very warm welcome. They have different coffees so we tried the iced Vietnamese coffee in recognition of our completed trip. The coffee was terrific. Breakfast items were fresh, tasty, and healthy. Got a bottle of Langer's OJ to wash it down - cold and refreshing. Chatted with the nice lady that took our order. Excellent way to enjoy a reasonably priced breakfast or lunch near the airport. Or, not a bad idea to pre order food and take it on your flight.“

I have really bad (like *really* bad) TMJ, so a lot of the breads at delis can be really hard for me to eat (too thick/dense/hard), but the bread was perfect and tasty. The meat was good, veggies were fresh, and the mac salad was delicious too. I was impressed with their selection of drinks and chips as well, and they had some healthy soda’s that are pretty uncommon. I’m so happy I found it, and I’ll definitely be back!“

“Mendocino was amazing! I had tried it once before at a different location but the El Segundo location was a much better experience! The staff is friendly, the line was quick, and the food was ready pretty quickly. I had the Peruvian steak sandwich and it was delicious, I want to try the chimichurri one next time. The inside was decorated pretty nicely and it gets crowded around lunch time but there is a good amount of seating inside and outside. Probably will be returning soon.“

“If you are going on your lunch break ORDER AHEAD online and you will be fine. If you are going to lunch sitting down during peak time, you will be serviced nicely. If you are just walking in, expect to wait a bit. They have quite the system going on here. They have people prepping the food and making sure its fresh, people taking orders, people packing up to-go orders, people servicing the tables. You will never feel like a certain group is getting prioritized more than you. They take care of walk ins, to-go orders, app orders, and table service efficiently and with a smile. I usually order ahead on the app and even when I have had to wait and ask about the status of my order, they ACTUALLY check on the status of my order and report back. This place is fresh, consistent, friendly, and always busy. This place is always busy, but clean, and could be a cool place to get work done if you have headphones.“

“I've gotten around 12 sandwiches in the past month.The app makes mistakes and glitches atleast the android version that I use on Samsung 22+. So order from app and include instructions incase your choices don't show properly.If the store makes a mistake and you inform them by review or in person they fix it. At first my order was screwed up a few times, but after that they very rarely made a mistake.Also know that if you order early AM it will be ready fast but expect stale bread. If I order afternoon the bread is better but it's the lunch rush so it might be delayed a little or the order might have a mistake because it's rushed.“

While walking down Main Street our plan was to eat and drink at as many local places as we had time for. First stop for grub was Big Mike's because they opened at 10:30am. We ordered a six inch steak and cheese with grilled onions and sweet peppers. We watched our sandwich being made and then it was delivered to the table steamy hot and fresh. The bun was the perfect "back east" Philly bun, soft and pillowy and it was loaded with tasty shaved steak and loads of gooey cheese. We were the first ones there but by the time we were done eating the place was filling up. Definitely a good first stop for food.“

“The first time I tried FireHouse I got a Philly Cheese Steak. The meat was cold. I was pissed and vowed never to go again. Then Uber Eats had a sale buy one sub get one free so I got a cold sandwich this time. The Italian (kind of like a Subway cold cut but with Italian dressing and seasoning. Very very good. Even told my mother who also had tried a sub and was not impressed and she got the Italian too for her and my dad bc the sub is huge. Went during lunch time and the girl who took my order did not hesitate to let me know she was busy and would help me when she could and she did not take long time to take my order. My east coast upbringing meant a lot of delicatessen sandwiches, sub shops, and overstuffed cold cuts. Jersey Mikes get it right. Fresh shaved meats and sliced cheeses, all the best condiments, oil and vinegar etc etc. A decent selection of breads too. This location is fast, they can process a long work week line of hungry lunchers well. They have a happy staff with smiling faces and they do not skimp in making a sandwich.
