“Absolutely excellent food and service! Just couldn't be better. Take a chance on this restaurant, you'll be happily surprised. The owner and workers truly care about their restaurant and customers satisfaction. The only little drawback is that it's located in a strip mall that has no ambience.“
“I lived in koreatown my whole life and i hate that i never tried this place until today. Food was so good here. I thought chicken would be dry just like other kabob places i go but this was the best chicken kabob i ever had. All their other plates were so delicious. I would recommend to everyone.“
“There were 10 of us looking for a Persian restaurant in the LA area. We called Javan 30 minutes prior to our arrival and they accommodated us immediately. We ordered a great variety of appetizers and meals. They were all delicious. I was the only one who ordered lamb kebob knowing there is a lot of hit and miss when ordering lamb. I cautioned the waiter that if my food wasn't done the way I wanted it, I will return it. A few minutes later, a gentleman came to our table. I am not sure if he were the manager or the owner. But he personally came to me and told me that he uses the best spring rack of lamb and that I won't be disappointed. He told me he would not accept returning of the lamb. But I knew I would return it if it was not up to par. He told me he would personally grill it for me. My rack of lamb kebob was one of the best I've had and I am an avid lamb meat eater. The service was phenomenal. A few servers were standing around at all times just in case we needed something. Most importantly, when the bill arrived, it was accurate. I know that some restaurants take advantage of big groups and over charge people thinking no one will notice. But I always notice. I highly recommend Javan Restaurant.“
“Best restaurant. I recently dined at Shamshiri Restaurant and was thoroughly impressed. The ambiance was elegant, with beautiful decor and soft lighting that created a cozy atmosphere. The service was exceptional, with friendly staff who were attentive to our needs. The food was the highlight of the evening, with each dish bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. I particularly enjoyed the kebabs, which were cooked to perfection. While the prices were on the higher side, the quality of the food and service made it well worth it. I highly recommend Shamshiri Restaurant for a delightful dining experience."Remember to be honest and specific in your review to help others make informed decisions about dining at Shamshiri Restaurant.lookimg forward to come back again soon❤️“

“Great service , Great Hookah , Staff are very nice and friendly specially the owner of the restaurant treats everyone very very nice The ambiance is amazing very good vibes here and their Sangak Pizza is very delicious I can say they are among the top 3 hookah bars in Los “
“I love this place. I've been coming here for years and the food is so delicious. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner on my last visit and when I tell you he's a gem of a human being.... super kind and generous. It was a quiet evening and I was visiting with a friend from back east and he was so incredibly kind to us. Full of wisdom and a deep passion for people. The food is authentically prepared with so much TLC. Can't wait to go back! It's also BYOB.The terrace is warm and cozy. The traditional Persian music is wonderful as well.“
“We live just down the street from here and it’s one of our favorite places to pick up dinner. We often joke that we could blindly point at anything on the menu to order and would be happy with it. Quality is amazing and pricing is more than fair for the amount of food you get. Highly recommend this place to anyone!!!“
“This place continues to be top notch. From tahdig to kabobs, you can't go wrong!----OMG... the kabob is out of this world!!! Actually all things on the menu impress! Every time I'm in the area, I make sure to stop by. Our go to:Tahdig with ghormeh sabzi and gheymeh (nomnomnom)MaustShiraziBaghali poloKabob bargJoojeh kabob“
“The atmosphere in Jino's Pars brings you back to old Persia. The kababs are made on charcoal fire with perfect seasoning juicy and smoky. Rice is fluffy and delicious. My favorite is Baghaly polo (rice, Fava beans, and dill) which can be paired with any grilled meat. The location is very close to the LAX airport and has free parking in front. It can get busy so arrive early and hungry. Highly recommended.Vegetarian options: Eggplant based dips and stews and rice.Dietary restrictions: Halal optionsParking: Free spots in front“
“Great Iranian eatery. Very cozy, cute, and comfortable space. Booths have the name of the islands in the Persian gulf, in keeping with the restaurant theme! My girlfriend is vegan so when we asked for the options the chef herself came to our table to go over the options. We really appreciated that. The food itself was fantastic. We had kubideh and aash. I wish they also had impossible meat kubideh. We will definitely go back for more!“
“Persian new year is on the 20th but everybody celebrates it at 8 o'clock tonight. So the Persian flag was out all over Westwood. So I decided to go with my best friend Reza to have Persian breakfast. Food was delicious. I really liked the vegetarian Samosas I had this drink, called rosewater, Chia I'm obsessed! I like using rosewater in the morning to wash my face. The first drink did feel a little soapy, but after a minute it was delicious. I love this spot very clean and beautiful . The back patio, Super enchanting. My new favorite spot five stars #HappyPersianNewYear“
“A kind gentleman waiting for his order to be filled gave us, party of 4, heaps of the bread that was in his togo order. He had spread his heaps of flat breads on the dining tables to air out and " stay crispy " as he explained it. Further, same gentleman got us a menu and kept encouraging us to break bread with him. Eventually our party did munch on his offerings and sat down inside... same gentleman told us service is not the priority of this particular establishment but that the food was good. Turned out to be mostly true. Lol. What lacked in service offerings was made up for in tasty dishes. Plentiful amounts of flavorful morsels in my chicken kabob wrap, and the 3 other dishes ordered. Got yogurt drinks, which I guess are very similar to Kefir. Funny story, I mistakenly thought Naan Hut served Indian food. Only to find out that the 3 other people in our party were familiar with Naan as bread in middle eastern language... so they were impressed that I had suggested a Halal restaurant to suit their tastes, whereas in truth I thought Naan bread like tandoori chicken sounded good.Dietary restrictions: HalalParking: It's LA“
“Food this good could only be made with a mother's love! Sogol's plate is a great business run by great women and I would definitely recommend their to-go orders for busy students as the ordering and pick-up process were super easy. I ordered the Kotlet sandwich and it was super flavorful. You will not be disappointed and the portions were quite filling. Can't wait to order more amazing meals in the future!“
“I came here to celebrate with my friend what is the Persian New Year or Nowruz as it's called. It falls on the Spring Equinox and it's customary to eat fish and green rice called Sabzi polo. We ordered the fried white fish which is the most tasty and popular! Great service and friendly staff. The food is fresh and incredible! Ambiance is casual and I love the tanoor they have to bake the bread with, the freshly baked bread they give you with butter is so special and delicious.“
“Small kitchen serving authentic persian food. Owner makes the food himself. It is a take away place. No dine in. The food is very authentic and generous amount. Would definitely recommend if you want to try Persian food specially if it's for a group of people. Would try again.“
“I had such a great experience dining in this restaurant. Fantastic beef kobodeh & beef barg - we were a group of 8 people & we all had amazing food- I highly recommend rhis restaurant. Also, the ambience was one of kind since they had live music. Perfect spot for birthday celebrations.“
“I had a fantastic experience at Toranj! The ambiance was lovely, the service was excellent, and the majority of the dishes were delicious. However, Ghorme Sabzi was a bit too sour for my taste, and the packed butter didn't quite meet expectations. Despite these minor hiccups, I'd still recommend this place for its overall great food and wonderful service. The atmosphere is similar to a traditional Persian restaurant in Iran!!“
“Really wished I knew the names of our servers (brunette lady and man) as they were genuinely so friendly and kept checking in on us. Food was incredible for the price ranges. Highly recommend the beef kabob, as well as the hummus. Also to note, I love that they have fresh juices (orange, celery, cucumber and apple etc.) which is very niche to find in restaurants! Will definitely be coming back! Glad to have found this middle eastern cuisine gem.“
“If you're staying close to LAX or are wandering around the area I recommend trying this place out. Small spot but you wont miss it. That wrap was so juicy and all the different spices just made it so delicious. I'll definitely stop by again when I'm around.“
“I own a Pilates studio down the street on Robertson (Pilates Body Beverly Hills) and I have been here with my friends and clients for lunch and dinner. The owner is very sweet and basically prepares the most delicious home made Persian food for you in the kitchen as you order it. I love the tadig and the kebabs are great too. She is also a pastry chef, so the desserts are really, really good there too.“
“Taste of Tehran was my first time eating at a restaurant in Tehrangeles, and it was an awesome choice. This was definitely one of the best Middle Eastern restaurants I've been to in LA. Everything was so great. And yes, I ate a lot of food on the first day here. I started off with some of the stews that included gormeh sabzi, the gheyme, and ash reshteh, which were all very tasty. The surprise hit to me was the Lentil Quinoa Salad. Seriously, one of the best salads I've ever had. It was sweet, refreshing, and savory all at the same time. No words to describe. And then the meats: the koobideh and soltani plate, just fabulous, along with that lentil rice. I can honestly say that Persians make the best rice out of all Middle Eastern countries! Even the barberry rice was amazing. Never had a rice this sweet and fruity before! Overall, an amazing experience. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Don't be fooled by the looks of this place. It looks like a quick, over the counter order type of restaurant, but the food is top notch. Even Anthony Bourdain has been here! I shot a Youtube video of my experience here, which you can see on my Youtube channel, Rockstar Eater.“
“Kurosh was a great find, a small place but very good food and friendly service. We had the chicken breast grilled wrap and the ground beef wrap. Both items were served right from the grill , vegetables were fresh and the sauces they mix with the wrap were super good! Prices were reasonable. The flavor of the meats was really good. I highly recommend this place for a great, fresh, and healthy meal!“
“Wow, so that's how good Persian food can be. Met my dad and girlfriend here for dinner and their food was amazing. Service is great, super friendly. The place is chic and modern but not stuffy. They brought me a great veggie dish with rice and tahdig with keshkeh bademjoon. Highly recommend their appetizers. Plenty of street parking and parking uot back as well clean bathrooms.“
“We came to LA from Florida for an event and discovered this gem. I wanted a small cafe not a fancy restaurant. The food and atmosphere was amazing and truly authentic. I was in heaven and didn't want to leave! I can't wait to come back!“
“the food is excellent and the process is convenient. Simply placing an order 20 minutes in advance ensures your meal is ready on time. The friendly staff adds to the positive experience, ensuring your orders are always accurate. Happy dining!“
“Smallish, newer place. Bright with lots of windows. Medium-sized parking lot in the back. Open kitchen where you can see the schawarma on their spits. You order at the counter and they bring your meal to you. Chicken schawarma has been juicy and tasty, some of the best we've tasted. Hummus is creamy. I tried the lamb gyro. It was good, tasted like a lot of sage in it. Generous portions. We usually have enough leftover for another meal. A friend ordered a salad and it was big. She ate about a quarter of it for lunch. Her boyfriend got a wrap, and it was more like two wraps! Free water that is infused with lemon and cucumber.“
