“We had eaten at Scopa, and John our server told us about the "speakeasy" next door, that is a rum/scotch/whiskey/bourbon/champagne/tequila tasting room. Though they do have cocktails, this is your chance to try things you might never see again, as well as names you might have heard about on difficult items to find and taste. We had let our John know that we had an interest, after eating dinner, and met Nick. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and excited we were interested. Luckily, we were in on a Thursday, so we were able to pop over about 9pm. He checked on us a few times, and you could tell he knew how to allow a variety of customers, explore this experience. It is suggested you make a reservation on Resy. We got to meet Oscar who was amazing. You kind of get to bring up what your tastes and interests are, and a price range. Tastings are pricey, but it is such a cool/chill intimate room, and a unique experience. We talked with Oscar and made up a tasting to optimize our first experience he called "Around the World". We were educated and presented with such a cool array of Rums, Scotch, Whiskies, and Bourbons. You don't feel rushed and the amount of information they know, and share is almost like a Master Class. We ended up going through a variety of tastes from Japan, England, Scotland, America, Spain, and France. It will probably be a very rare experience for me and my friend, but we felt special and appreciated that we wanted to experience this. “I used to love going to Planta when I lived in Canada, so I was genuinely happy to discover they have locations in California too. The menu offers a fantastic selection of fresh, flavorful vegan dishes that make plant-based eating exciting, not restrictive. It’s fast, creative, and satisfying — definitely not your average vegan fare. The bar is impressively stocked, offering great cocktail options that complement the food well. However, the service left a bit to be desired. We had to wait quite a while for our drinks, and our server barely checked in throughout the meal, which took away from the overall experience. Still, if you're looking for high-quality vegan food with bold flavors and great variety, Planta is absolutely worth visiting. Just cross your fingers for better service. “I really love this place. It feels like you’re walking into a special place somewhere in Europe. And it’s tucked away enough to not be super touristy and crowded. The staff always greets us with a smile, and the vibe is just perfection. The indoor area has such a cool atmosphere, and the outdoor tables are on the water. You can NOT go wrong here.“

“Indians right on the way to the pier with nice outdoor seating. Map clear, service friendly and attentive. It was a little cooler in the evening and we had our own heater at the table. Cocktails ? well mixed and round off an evening on site. The food was well seasoned and the size was appropriate for the price/performance ratio. We always find a place and there is always a place to sit for a longer time - check only when asked and not, as is often the case, directly at the table - so this is particularly pleasant for European guests... Parking at the pier is subject to a charge depending on time/day $5-20

Parking: 3min walk from the pier/parking lot. Fees apply. On public holidays it can be crowded in the evenings but never a problem during the week“

In particular, the main 805 was a clean-tasting lager, and the unfiltered UDBA had an impressive, savory and sweet taste.
On the other hand, the Nitro Velvet Merkin had a fairly high alcohol content, but the soft vanilla flavor and aftertaste were really good.
For food, I ordered fish and chips, which were crispy and delicious.“

“As crazy as our Birthday party was, in the bar, our server, Jose, was awesome. There were 2 or 3 other large gatherings at the Marriott hotel, where Singer is, adjacent to the lobby. However, we felt completely cared for. I ordered the classic burger...I am a burger aficionado... It was awesome! I could say that I am ashamed of all the parmesan fries I ate, but nope, not sorry. They were awesome, as well. I don't know if it's a good or bad reality that this place is only a couple miles from my home because...Oh who am I kidding? Crab roll is my favorite.

In relation to price and quality it seems adequate to me.

The only issue is that:
1. You can't make reservations and obviously the place is always full so you have to wait to be served.

The recommendation is not to go very hungry.“

“The Fresh Brothers in Marina Del Rey has plenty of free parking in the lot, and they have a good amount of seating if you want to eat your pizza there.For soft drinks, they have the Coca Cola freestyle touch-screen machine, and I went with the AHA 50-50 split between plain and lemon. Marc was friendly and pointed out that the AHAs are their most popular sodas.A personal 7” pizza has 4 slices and it’s intended for just one person. If you’re lactose intolerant, they have Daiya vegan mozzarella cheese that can be substituted for any pizza. The cauliflower gluten free crust and vegan cheese were both so well done that I almost thought they were the real thing! The BBQ Chicken pizza has grilled chicken breasts with a very sweet BBQ sauce and raw red onions that get baked. The cauliflower crust has a little cheese in it, and the other gluten free crust is fully vegan.The Vegan Cobb Salad has crisp romaine lettuce, farro and red rice ancient grains, fresh Hass avocado chunks, crispy chickpeas, roasted cherry tomatoes, artichokes, and red beets, with a white balsamic vinaigrette on the side. The farro is the bacon replacement, and although I missed the egg, it’s a great option if you’re vegan or trying to go more plant based.“
