“Planned a “Girls Trip” to San Francisco and arriving late in the evening. I knew we’d be hungry and wasn’t sure what would be open and didn’t want fast food. So I pre ordered their “To Go Box” Raquel was absolutely helpful and professional when corresponding to my inquiries. Had it delivered directly to the hotel and it was waiting at the front desk (refrigerated in the back) when we arrived. The hotel staff said this was the best and most beautiful charcuterie box she has ever seen! Oh how we enjoyed it once we were up in our room! Highly recommend and would definitely order from them again when in town!“

“Totally worth the drive to fish and see Barbara when they open for lunch.. Barbara is totally awesome. Cash only don't worry. There is ATM in the back. Large food and alcohol selection. We had no problems finding a seat on a Saturday afternoon. Plenty of amazing outside seating looking at the lake. Side note my friend comes here occasionally and fishes on the straight. He took me here today and we almost caught a Sturgeon together.“

I had the Mango 🥭 Avocado 🥑 Shrimp 🍤 Ceviche it was like an explosion of flavors in my mouth, I couldn’t stop eating it. Great tacos 🌮 everything was beyond my expectations. We had to keep tracking down the waiter for our hot water for the tea, box for take away, etc. Inattentive. The staff also seemed unhappy or dissatisfied with their jobs. The prices have gone up so don’t feel we got value for our money“

“OMG. I’m a sushi lover and this is my new favorite lunch spot. Happened to be in the area for lunch, which just happens to be their happy hour! We ordered one of everything on the happy hour menu and were BLOWN AWAY. Soooo good, we ordered 2nds of most of the items. Floored how good the oyster mushroom tempura on their HH menu is. Like. Chef’s kiss! All of the fish items in HH were top shelf. So good, we ended up ordering multiples. Staff was so helpful and happy. Can’t wait to come back.“

“My wife and I dropped into La Ezkina recently to try a restaurant we have not visited previously. The place was completely empty when we walked in and the workers seemed thrilled to have customers. Our service was excellent and the food was good but it was such a bummer to see nobody else there. It must be so hard to run a restaurant these days. The bar completely dominates the middle of the restaurant and I found it distracting. In a way, it’s not clear if they want to be a bar or a restaurant. I’m sure I’ll be back at some point. Hopefully others will try it too.

We were searching for a place with not only good food but also the right ambience, as so many outdoor spots can be spoiled by traffic noise or the distraction of pedestrians. This restaurant turned out to be a wonderful surprise. The back patio is a hidden gem—surrounded by trees, with one growing right through the deck beside our table. It created a peaceful, unique setting that made the meal feel special. The experience went beyond the setting, though. The service was warm and attentive, and the food and drinks were excellent from start to finish. Everything came together to make for an exceptional evening. We left feeling delighted and already know we'll be returning—this is a spot we plan to become regulars at.“

“Came here for lunch on a Saturday afternoon, no wait. Great value for the price, lots of meat and appetizer options. Service was attentive in refilling our banchans and taking our next meat orders. I like their banchans, brisket, galbi and mini sesame balls.

The tables on the sides have the exhaust. We sat in the middle section and those didn’t have the exhaust. Also the stalls in the women’s bathroom are tight; barely any room to close the door. And the floor in the bathroom was super sticky.“

“Nice little neighborhood bar in downtown Benicia off first street. Open pretty late but still closes earlier than 2am. They have late night eats, TVs, and a happy hour menu. The bartenders were friendly and helped us with our drinks and their food menu didn’t look bad. Both indoor and outdoor space. Parking isn’t too hard as there is plenty of street parking around this area. Their starburst, gummy bear, and green tea shots during happy hour are $5 and pretty tasty and sweet.“

Because we live close by it is a place that we have been coming to for so many years that we remember when the Bistro was only the bar area and the restaurant was the Duck Club. And we always enjoy the service and ambiance. But on a recent visit we had a poor experience with the food. The staff was definitely attentive in trying to remedy things but the kitchen was having an off night. Last week we were craving their delicious onion soup so we made a reservation to go back. From the gracious personal greeting from the hostess to the service and food in the dining room everything was outstanding. And we were told that the staff had been briefed about our previous visit. Both the manager and the assistant manager came by to thank us for coming back and giving them another chance. You can be sure that we will continue to be loyal customers and we are sharing this experience with friends so the word will get out. Thank you Bistro staff for a level of attentiveness and excellence that is hard to find these day.“

Stick with anything canned or be around tap unless you want to just do shots. I would be happy to pay a couple more bucks for an actual craft cocktail made with quality made by a mixologist. Besides that, the customer service is awesome, the rules and regs are more than understandable, and when they bring in live music you're into, it's a really good time. Overall it's a great place, just stay away from the cocktails... Unless you're a Jack and Coke kind of person, then I will not be having cocktails with you regardless lol.
