“Food was good, but did not particularly stand out compared to other dumpling places. Had great service from one server, but the rest were very stressed and hurried. It was hard to get their attention. Food presentation was great and they surprisingly have a large bar. I would come back again and try different items.“

“They are somehow fused with Sassy Vegan, and the food was incredible!! Very authentic and delicious. Any vegan in San Francisco should come here!! Get the Sesame Buns - you will not regret it! Also: ask the waitress about what they'd recommend, she pointed us to some amazing options and it was a 10/10.“

“Best dim sum in SF. Shark fin dumpling and deep fried pork puff are the best items. Low prices. No seating. To go only. Closes early, at 4 pm.“

“This place was extremely delicious!
My bf and I tried a variety of buns and dim sum here. The Dim Sum, hands down, was made so beautifully and tasted even more so. The taste was flavorful and simple in a way that felt like home. We also had the bbq pork buns one steamed and one puffed, it was a sweet bbq flavor which I really enjoyed. The service was excellent and they even provided a suggestion of items to try based off what we were ordering. The puffs were light and soft, my bf isn’t much of a bread person so it had a bit much for him.
Overall, I definitely recommend this place for amazing quality dim sum, buns, and friendly service.“

“Delicious and straightforward. Highly recommend. If you're used to American portion sizes, you'll think the portions here are a bit small. It's affordable, so just order an extra appetizer!
We loved the tom yum and fried wontons.“

“Authentic dim sum restaurant. We dine in and had some Shuman, shrimp rice noodle roll, and Custard bun. Food was great except the rice noodle roll was too much noodle and not enough shrimp. We ended up getting some more buns and dim sum togo.“

“A very locals option for carry out dimsum — a selection not as extensive as other Cantonese bakeries on San Bruno Avenue, but good quality. Charsiu bao (BBQ pork buns) are meaty (not fatty), getting the more-savory-to-sweet proportions just right.“

“We went there for Thanksgiving for the first time. As a vegetarian, I can say I had many options, and what I chose was outstanding. My wife and daughter enjoyed their fish and meat dishes and I can honestly say there wasn’t one dish that wasn’t outstanding. I heartily recommend this place and I’m considering going back for Christmas if they’re open.“

“Support small businesses!
Where you can find quality handcrafted food. I loved everything I’d ordered. From dim sum, milk tea, white sauce, marinated pork ribs and chicken feet, baked egg custard, to specialty traditional Hong Konger soup of the day!
I cannot express enough how grateful I am to have experience this taste again, I left HK back in 2006. This place tasted like home, my childhood, I wonder if they are from Kwun Tong too!
Thank you Hongry Kong for delivering amazing memories to me. I had already placed my second order. Spread the word out, hope you continues with success!“

“Reasonable and affordable price, good taste. I’ve been here many times, really like it! Nowadays Chinese food is so pricey and most of them sucks, this one is hidden GEM. If you don’t like cooking home as me , this is an ideal place to go!!! Haha
3 dishes and 1 soup combo is GOAT!“

“Genuinely, one of the best dumpling spot in the bay area. I have tried many spots from super noodle, dumpling time to din tai fung nothing , I mean nothing compare to the flavour of this place. The soup in dumpling are actually delicious and worth the trip !“

“Incredibly friendly, kind, attentive, and helpful servers. Special shout outs to Lara and Tuta! You guys were awesome!
The food was amazing. All the ingredients tasted fresh and high quality. The flavors were well balanced and complex. Generous portions at such a reasonable price.
Highly recommend the spicy braised beef noodle soup with the signature housemade noodles. The noodles were cooked to perfection with a nice bite and chewiness without being doughy, and were flavorful thanks for the rich broth. The soup has a kick which was entirely welcome and the spice paired well with the sourness, cutting through the heaviness of both the beef and the wheat noodles. Will definitely be back to enjoy more!
The green peppercorn fish noodle soup was light and clean without any fishiness ruining the dish. I would want more peppercorn flavor though for me to strongly recommend.“

“We ordered a few dishes. My favorite is the hot and sour soup, sour, spicy, flavorful, lots of tofu, shiitake mushrooms, golden needle. Beef noodle soup seems to have mala spice, not my typical beef noodle soup, didn’t enjoy it much, though I liked the hand pull noodle texture! Soup dumplings skin a bit thick and pork was not as tasty. No shredded ginger which I thought it’s a must for soup dumplings?“

“Great value takeout dimsum, with good amount of variety. This is our go-to place when we want dimsum without paying yumcha prices. Sometimes a small line but moves very fast. Some smaller items are sold as an order (3x), so make sure to clarify if you want just 1 or one order (3x). They also have some hot foods but we have yet to try.“

“The king crab meal is very special - they make it 3 different ways!! We did steamed with vermicelli, fried with salted duck yolk and sautéed with noodles. You can also do sautéed with rice or steamed with egg. Make sure to call ahead and pre-order. The servers were very friendly and hard working. Can’t wait to be back!“

“Great place to eat dim sum“
“Food was amazing! It felt very authentic and just as flavorful as non-plant based dimsum. I would say this is up there as one of the best vegan places in SF. Pretty good value for the price as well, the portion sizes for the plated dishes are very large. The staff were very friendly and service was great!“
“Been coming here for many years. Hole in the wall spot with big portions and affordable prices! They have pretty much everything you could think of in a typical Chinese restaurant. They serve dim sum in the morning. $3 rice noodles and $2 small porridge is such a steal. I recommend calling to place an order since parking is limited. My favorite would have to be their Mongolian Beef. It's slightly spicy and packed with flavor.

“You know what makes a great city like San Francisco work? It's the thousands upon thousands of ordinary folks who work diligently everyday to make a living and provide food and services for everyone else.
And those are found in the neighborhoods, the small pockets of business zones among residential homes scattered all over the city. This small hole-in-the-wall joint is a testament to the organic nature of small businesses that makes a great city.
Sweet Delight is a consistent food place that serves up hot meals, from pre-made Chinese food, dim sums and pastries day in and day out with much reliability and with sincerity.
The staff is cordial enough and do their best to be hospitable, the prices are reasonable that you get your money's worth and the food turns over often enough that it is consistently fresh.
Support your neighborhood places to keep the community healthy and vibrant.“

“My family loves this restaurant, so much we don’t want to share. The crab when it season is to die for. I sucked every piece of the Dungeness crab. The owners are really sweet. They have both American Chinese food, and canton dishes. That crab….i will dream about you.“

“It’s really a to go place but surprisingly they offer a kitchen that will take orders and even customize your order. The staff is very nice and friendly. A few IYKYK things 1) It’s one of the rare places that still make mochi desert. They have a pineapple version and a peanut version. Both are really good. 2) Their bolo “pineapple” buns are also pretty good and they have it in a dedicated space with heat lamp. 3) they make soy milk from scratch. And it’s delicious.“

“Recently re-discovered this place again with my family and we’ve been coming here for dim sum almost bi-weekly. They have a pretty good selection of dim sum and it’s by Ocean so you can go grab a few things after hand if need be. I love going to cherry blossom right after for a sweet treat!“

“We’ve been heading over to The Night Market for the past few years! The classics are all good, Hainan Chicken, Beef Chow Fun, minced Beef over rice. But if you want to try something unique to The Night Market try the Longan Crispy Pork over rice. I can’t imagine a dish that so uniquely represents the Asian American experience. Finish it off with a mango Sago!“

“Good place to visit for a Hong Kong style cafe. We ordered the curry beef tongue and enjoyed the dish . The portion is good. The fried fish ball is also delicious.
Jan 24, 2026 We came back for an afternoon snack with the special milk tea 冰鎮奶茶,鴛鴦. There are not that many customers and make it a great place to chill and enjoy the milk tea.“

“Food is delicious dim sum, we were lucky to have a table in a private room cuz we had 17 people. It was only one woman wait staff to help us with food, it was not much service after they brought in the food and she really left us alone and we need more tea but no service until when we ready to leave then give us tea. That's really bad to me no tea for a long time and only refilling once! She must be so busy and we go outside help ourselves for finding boxes for leftover food. Be good to have good service with a smile too?“

“First time visit. This place used to be China village restaurant. It serves dimsum and hongkong style dishes. It has live seafood. I heard the chef is from Pallette tea and garden. When we arrived it was not busy but later in the night the restaurant is almost full. Overall, the food is yummy. The beef is a bit salty. Service wise, they might need to do better as if you go to another sizable hongkong seafood restaurant , someone will greet you and serve right a way. We will try the dimsum next time.“
