Their portions are huge so we had a lot of leftovers.“

We were so excited to dig into our favorite dishes that we forgot to take pictures. The owner was lovely and brought out the lamb dish because she had forgotten to tell the server that we asked for the next dish. “This is a nice neighborhood restaurant with plenty of metered parking nearby. We all had the rigatoni with sausage and meatballs for lunch. Very good. Our waiter was attentive but not overbearing. Everyone should try this place. I remember their dinner menu was great.“

“We feel so lucky to have had Trattoria da Vittorio cater our wedding! The food was absolutely phenomenal—our guests are still raving about the fiochetti pasta and the sausage ragù. Vittorio himself was a joy to work with: warm, accommodating, and incredibly generous throughout the entire process.

He welcomed us into his amazing restaurant for a tasting that felt more like a celebratory dinner than a formal event (we’ll definitely be back), and went out of his way to accommodate our guests with dietary restrictions. “A really wonderful, romantic oasis in downtown Burlingame. All the food we ordered here was delicious. The Italian sausage lasagna was my highlight. The pomegranate and arugula salad was also wonderful. The Bolognese lasagna was solid but not as standout. The complimentary focaccia bread at the beginning was just so-so.

“This meal, which just happened to fall on Valentine's Day, was a lovely beginning to our trip which started with a flight out of SFO. Fortunately I had thought to make a reservation or we never would have gotten in. The service was warm, the atmosphere was cozy and not too dressy, and the food and wine were great. I especially enjoyed my risotto with scallops; while the scallops were small, they were tender and there were plenty of them. We will definitely keep this restaurant in mind when we visit the area in the future.“

“Italian food in a bank? Yes, delicious Italian food in a bank. Everything we ordered was super delicious. The complimentary bread dipped in oil and vinegar was a great start. We ordered the roasted brussel sprouts drizzled in balsamic vinegar for an appetizer and it did not disappoint. For our main courses we ordered the rigatoni alla carcareta and the daily special of lobster ravioli with shrimp. Both were equally delicious. Dessert consisted of creme Brule and tiramisu which we both loved. This place is a must try and we will be coming back.“

“This was my first visit to this storefront Trattoria. While this isn't an attractive venue, it is quite comfortable. All the white tablecloth tabletops make it warm and welcoming. The food is well prepared. There is an ample menu. The caprese salad, Pollo Saltimbocca, and limoncello cake were fantastic. All portions are very generous. Except for the cake. I could have eaten an entire cake, instead of just a slice! Our waiter, Eduardo, was attentive but never intrusive. I'll be back soon.
