“The sushi here is excellent! The fish is incredibly fresh—firm in texture, never mushy, and with no fishy smell. The rolls are also delicious, perfectly balanced in flavor. I especially recommend the roll with avocado and grilled eel—it’s a must-try”
“My favorite restaurant in Milpitas. The chef was from Michelin Star restaurant and has an extremely high standard for quality. The price is very reasonable as well. Top notch! Go Echo!”
“Simply amazing food and incredibly awesome staff ❤️👍 My addiction to ho here and eat ❤️❤️❤️ I just wish there was a Dish Dash in South San Francisco or close by 😕🙏”
“Tried the new Mala Town in Milpitas. The place is big and clean, which is always a plus. The malatang was solid — I really liked the dry one with peanut sauce. Ingredients were fresh, and the staff were super nice. Overall, a pretty good spot. I’d come back.”
“I really missed Outback as it’ has closed down in Singapore. Found this outlet while shopping in the Great Malls. Just to have the special bread and butter was good enough for me. The experience was nostalgic and the bread and butter were perfect. Had a light meal of chowder, burger and Mac and cheese. All food was ok but underwhelming except for the bread and butter, which was exceptional.”

“Pho & Bun is hands down one of the best spots for Vietnamese comfort food in San Jose. I've been here a few times now, and it never disappoints. The pho broth is rich and aromatic you can tell it's been simmered for hours. I usually go for the rare steak and brisket combo, and it's always served hot, fresh, and packed with flavor.
Their bun dishes are also a standout! The grilled pork is tender and perfectly seasoned, and the veggies are crisp and fresh. Portions are generous, and everything is plated beautifully.
The service is consistently friendly and quick, and the space is clean and welcoming great for both solo meals or a casual lunch with friends. Prices are reasonable for the quality, and they never skimp on ingredients.
Definitely my go-to spot for a hearty bowl of pho. Highly recommend if you're craving something warm and delicious in the South Bay!”
“I recently tried Sugar MaMa had a great experience!
The flavors are creative and change seasonally and everything tastes fresh and homemade. You can really tell they care about quality ingredients.
The staff was so kind and patient while we tasted a few flavors.”
“I have lived in Milpitas for 3 1/2 years now, and only recently 'discovered' this hidden gem right at the end of the street I live on!!! Their menu is varied enough to have a great selection, but not so much that it's overwhelming. The minute you enter their diner, you're greeted with a warm Good Morning or Good Afternoon! The staff is very attentive and friendly; we felt like members of the family from our first visit! The food is priced fairly, which is hard to say about almost any other restaurant I've been in lately, and, it is delicious! There you have it...Welcoming, friendly staff, great menu selection, delicious food, priced fairly. A recipe for success, obviously since they've been there for over 20 years! Try it, you will not be disappointed!”
“The sushi here is seriously good - fresh ingredients, creative rolls you won’t find anywhere else. The Fuji Roll? Absolutely delicious. Prices are reasonable, and the staff is friendly, even if the vibe inside feels a bit cramped and could use a deeper clean. It’s a small spot, so I’d recommend takeout or delivery over dining in. For the quality of food though, it’s worth it.”
“Food is great and friendly staff. Caddilac Margaritas is the bomb”

“I ordered veggie burger which is not written anywhere on the menu. They make it with tomato, raw onion, lettuce, and special sauce. No patty still a tasty burger. I didn't know earlier, but I could have asked to add cheese in it as well. I think price is unbeatable, it cost me around $2.50 for 1 burger. Animal fries is also not on the menu, but ask for it. They put cheese, grilled onions, and special sauce on it.”
“I was born and raised in Oaxaca City and decided to give this place a try. I will happily say that they absolutely exceeded my expectations in terms of their flavors, service, and atmosphere.
This food truck is located within the parking lot of a local gas station at E Calaveras Blvd & S Park Victoria Dr. There was enough parking at the time I drove in. The guy who took my order greeted me in Spanish with a smile and acted very genuinely and cordially.
I ordered 2 lengua tacos. The portions were appropriate, and the meat was perfectly cooked and tasted both juicy and very, very, authentic. The onions and cilantro had been freshly diced and made me smile when I squeezed lime juice on both tacos. They gave me two small containers with their red and green salsas. Yes, their salsas immediately activated long-stored memories in my taste buds. I can say that it flew me back to Oaxaca. My whole mouth watered at the first bite, so to extend the feast in my mouth and soul, I made 4 tacos with the double tortillas.
I will be coming back with friends and family and I think you should too.”
“My go to place for filter coffee ☕ not just for great taste but also because this is the only place that offers mini coffee and not an XL sized one. Hope all other indian restaurants also offer similar mini coffee/tea. Also tried vegan chai with very low expectations but surprisingly it was so good.”
“A pay per pound hot pot spot where you just pick your ingredients and they make it for you.
It's a novel experience around these parts and honestly it's pretty decent.
Was a fun experience and while the food is pretty mid mostly, it's priced alright too so is worth a visit if keen.”
“Tasty Pot is a great spot for hot pot lovers. The food is tasty, the prices are reasonable, and the overall experience is very satisfying. The restaurant is spacious and comfortable, making it a pleasant place to enjoy a meal.
Staff are friendly and helpful, and ordering is super convenient—you just scan a QR code with your phone. It's a smooth, modern system that makes everything quick and easy. Highly recommend!”
“I was craving some Korean food and came here and it was GOOD! After we ordered through the QR code on the table, we got some banchan, which was okay. We then got some sort of soup and it was amazing. We ordered the seafood pancake (great), deluxe tteokbokki (amazing and super heavy), and bulgogi bibimbap (great). Would definitely return.”

“Ordered take out online. Got a few rolls, miso soup and an appetizer. Everything was good. Provided soy, chopsticks, napkins. Staff was friendly. Tight parking lot at the In N Out next door can cause chaos if their drivethru line gets long. Friendly staff. Clean. Happy with everything. Will be back.”
“AMAZING snacks! There is a free snack bar with all kinds of delicious chinese snacks, the staff were very kind and gave children toys. You can walk in at any given time and they will find you a table immediately. The place is very clean, and my family and I love it so much we go at least 2 times a week. If you’re ever looking for a hot pot place go here!”
“The food was very hot and delicious. I am very adventurous and ordered the new cheesy chicken cutlet, sweet potato fries with plum seasoning, and a spicy fried chicken bento box. Food is very large portions, great for sharing. I've never had this like this and definitely recommend it. Friendly staff or you can use a self service tablet. Has some great deals as well. The picture of the food is next and reheated. Still tasted fantastic.”

“Great food and friendly service. We usually order to-go from them, and came here for the BBQ fish, and it was delicious—served hot, well-seasoned, and in a generous portion. We really enjoyed it and would definitely come back.”
“Best Momos! Can't wait to try more specialties!”

“I had lunch here with my husband. Manolo greeted us with a happy welcome and seated us. He was an excellent server as well. The food was cooked perfectly to my specifications and very delicious. I left there feeling like I Ieft a 5 star restaurant. Great food, great service, friendly staff and a quiet atmosphere. Who could ask for more? This is my new go to restaurant.!!
I don't mind driving the extra miles to get there. It is worth every mile.”
“on the afternoon of OCT 27, 2024 poor staff didn't have any cooks - they are doing their best with the hand they were dealt today. I hope those that were kicking tail to keep up with the demand are given a raise or a respectful appreciation for sticking through unique challenges and stressors.”
“The food here has is excellent and the people employed are very friendly”
“Vietnamese friends told us about Anh Hong Saigon so we went with another friend. the seven-beef course is minimum two orders, but that was fine. a great deal of food and we talked and ate and talked.
the waiter was super helpful: told us about the dishes and how to eat. brought more dishes but didn't bother us. by 1p on Saturday, it was full.
go and order the seven beef course. only a few places offer this.”
“We hired Tayyibaat to cater for my son's wedding and it was a home run. I don't recall being at a wedding feeding 150+ people where people go out of their way to comment how good the food was. That was our experience. I don't think you can get this level of quality and flavor for a large event without adding an extra 5k to the price tag. Literally everything they served was a hit from the meat, to the sauces, to even the classic Afghan salad with diced up onions, tomatoes, and cucumbers. Be sure to get the eggplant as well.”
Takeout Restaurants
“Omg the calamari is amazing, most of the drinks I don’t like. But the food and customer service is amazing. Kenya is great customer service, like she always says hi to me, she fixed the spices for me without attitude and genuinely looks like she’s a very nice girl. You don’t meet good customer service like her.”

“Fantastic little poke spot in Milpitas. Friendliest owners I've ever met, and the toppings are fresh and delicious. You start by picking your base: sushi rice, brown rice, or greens, then add your proteins with variety such was spicy salmon, tuna, shrimp, tilapia, tuna salad, tofu, etc. You can choose a spice level, and additional toppings such as edamame, corn, seaweed salad (so good), macaroni salad, crab, etc. I love to add spicy mayo and yuzu ponzo, plus eel sauce. Do not pass this place up!”
“I can tell from the quality of food, decor, cleanliness, and environment that a lot of thought was put into this restaurant. The food was incredible - very fresh and tasty. They were also kid-friendly (small details like corner protectors on the chairs). Our kids enjoyed the toy dispenser and the kids meal. Staff were friendly too. We will definitely be back!
Kid-friendliness: Kids meal, toy dispenser, clean restrooms, and even corner protectors on the chairs!”
“I stop by after work yesterday to get the tiramisu cake for my mother-in-law. Each of us had a slice of it after the homemade hot pot dinner. We were all quite amazed about the texture and the taste. Beyond our expectation! I have to say personally I like it better than 85 °C’s version (or other competitors bakery) especially with the $31.99 price. The guy helped with my pick up was nice, I was in and out for 5 minutes. He gave me 3 packs of different color candles although we didn’t ended up using those. Their paper plates quality are not that good, very thin made. I would suggest just ask for utensils for your cake order. Might go with a different flavor next time for my husband and my daughter’s birthdays in September. :)”
“Nice variety with solid portions of really good food. The three scoop salad had tuna salad, chicken salad, and cottage cheese with a variety of fruits and vegetables, along with a hard-boiled egg half. The cheeseburger was an 8-ounce patty with fresh veggies and crispy onion rings. The French dip was packed and came with au jus and hot, crispy fries.”
“Taste pretty good, on the saltier side of Korean cuisine. Food portion is quite reasonable for the price. Cozy small restaurant with lots of Korean people eating there.”
“This has been our family’s favorite noodle place and we try to go at least a couple times monthly, so this review is definitely long overdue . Our kids love the chow mein, and we usually get the beef noodle soup and the tripe spicy noodles. Very Spicy but so good! They are usually busy but the tables move fast as service is quick and it doesn’t take long for the food to come out.”

“The best bahn mi ever.
This is one of the few restaurants that sell grilled beef bahn mi . Absolutely delicious!!!
Their tofu bahn mi is also high on my list!!!
Not only does this restaurant make bahn mi, but they offer hot entrees, like noodle soup and rice dishes.
The eggrolls are delicious.
There is seating for about 20 people.
Canned drinks and juices are available, as
Are freshly made smoothies and boba tea..
Oh yeah, and the prices for the bahn mi are incredible. $6.00- $7.50 depending on what you order.
Service is fast.. atmosphere - okay.
More like a hole- in- the - wall restaurant, but a memorable hole- in - the- wall!!!”

“Went on May 10th Dia de Madres. The location was super busy, but we were seated right away. The service was awesome!!! Even tho it was busy, they had several people helping and checking on the tables. I made a special order. The Bacon Avocado Eggs Benedict but with country gravy instead of holendaise sauce!!! I despise holendaise sauce...lol Great Service!!!”
“It doesn't look like much from the outside, but this place is a blast! Went for a business dinner. Delicious food, fun experience, great service. Highly recommend.”

“Teaspoon is a nice little bubble tea shop. They have some solid food offerings on top of their drink options. I got the brown sugar boba tea, and was quite happy with it. In addition to the food and drinks, the staff were friendly, and the shop itself was quite nice.
Overall, I'd definitely recommend stopping in if you're looking for a solid boba tea shop.”
“😕Not their best showing. Waitress served me chili with onions and did not give me option to say no. She tried to over-charge me for the corn muffin that comes with the chili. Then pretty much told me I had to pay now as she was going on break, even though I was still finishing my tea. When I asked if the onions were standard or optional, the waitress said they were standard, the manager said they are by request. But how can I know they'll add onions if no one tells me. I literally had to point to the menu to show that it does not say cheese and onions can be added.”
“A brilliant local Indian Pizza chain. This place is brand spanking new; Opened about a month ago! Good size venue with decent parking around. I'm guessing the word isn't out as yet, since it was empty inside. I think that will change quickly...#IndianPizza~ Achari Lamb Pizza - 4.5/5As soon as we opened the box, we noticed the generous amounts of Lamb all over the pizza. Perfectly cooked it wasn't gamey or funky. While it's crust is on the thinner side the pizza is heavier and more filling than it looks. Good flavor with plenty of toppings, also came with a side of ranch. I'd easily get this again#IndianPasta~ Tandoori Chicken Pasta - 4/5Creamy Chicken Pasta with a decent amount of chicken in a white sauce, with a kick to it. We were curious about this dish. The pasta is very different. Personally, I wouldn't call this "Tandoori" pasta. We didn't think it had a Tandoori flavor to it. However, it had a decent kick to it...more along the lines or Pepper than spices.Diggin the Indian Pizza!”
“I love the broth!!!! I can tell that you must have braised the broth forever since the broth was so good. I was busy each time my husband wanted to take me so I asked him to buy to go. OMG a I opened the door coming home to smell Pho all over my home. It felt as if I was at the restaurant. The aroma was pho-Ing good!!! The meat was pho-tastic.and I love the huge volume of onions and fresh tasking ginger in every bite. If you love pho or if you love noodles or if you love food, then you must visit this Pho Thin Ha Noi - pho-ing good.”
“I cannot recommend Caffino enough. I grew up near this stand and the new owners (2020ish) have done wonders to revive this stand. They repainted the stand and gave it a facelift and man it made a world of a difference. The coffee selection is immaculate and the pastries are delicious and always seem fresh. Not to mention the workers make you feel like family. They always welcome you with a warm smile, pay attention to your entire order, and never skip a beat. It is always my first stop when I come home to visit and will remain that way!!
Dietary restrictions: Lots of dairy alternatives
Kid-friendliness: Great kids menu”

“If you like fresh tasty Asian food in an ultra clean, bright and cheery environment, you've found your new home at TK Noodle Milpitas. They reopened after being shut down by the covid lockdowns in a smaller newer building and it's better than ever. They have ame great food in a more cheerful clean bright friendly environment. I love pasta and noodles and their wide noodles are the best anywhere in the world, EVER!”
“Excellent food, taste is so authentic. Freshly made. Customer service is very friendly and accommodative. We had Chicken 65, Medu Vada, Dosa Varieties, Biriyani, parathas, Chilli chicken, uthappam, Poori etc. Highly recommend this restaurant, for kids and Adults. I would definitely visit often. Pricing very nominal.”

“Kicked off the New Year with a fantastic dinner at H L Peninsula, and it did not disappoint! This spot offers classic Cantonese-style seafood dining in a traditional Chinese banquet hall setting. The food was affordable, the portions were generous, and everything we tried was packed with flavor.
We ordered the vegetarian and egg fried rice along with the spare ribs—both were absolutely amazing. The spare ribs were tender and full of savory goodness, and the fried rice was the perfect comforting complement. Bonus: the leftovers kept us happy for days.
We’re already planning to return to explore their seafood dishes, which looked incredible on other tables. If you’re looking for delicious, authentic Cantonese dining with portions that deliver, H L Peninsula is a solid choice.”
“I've never liked boba before, the tea is too sweet and boba is like chewing rubber balls. But this place so different.
The bobas are authentic and real, freshly cooked, super juicy and actually tastes good.
The price is also good, you'd pay the same price for rubber ball boba somewhere else.
Definitely worth a try!”

“Milpitas Buffet is exactly what you hope for when you walk into a seafood buffet — and it delivers perfectly. The selection is huge, with so many dishes that it’s hard to even decide where to start. Everything is fresh, flavorful, and well prepared. The seafood section is the star, and the crab legs are a must-try — grab them while they’re hot, because they taste amazing and go fast. I also appreciated how clean and well maintained the place is, which makes the whole dining experience even better. The staff is attentive and quick to refill trays, so you never feel like you’re missing out on something. There’s plenty of variety beyond seafood too, so everyone can find something they like. For the price, the value is more than fair considering the quality and freshness of the food. Milpitas Buffet has quickly become one of my favorite spots, and I’ll definitely be coming back again and again. Highly recommended!”
“I came to the bay area after 6 years. And I couldn't wait to have their Vijaywada chicken biryani which is what I used to have all the time earlier. It is one of my favorite foods in the bay area. They have toned down the spices in the biryani, probably for the good.”
“this is one the best sushi spots in the south bay area! huge selection of sushi and specialty rolls, nigiris, special sashimi combinations. we ordered the 10 pc sashimi special and enjoyed it so much — it was thickest cuts of sashimi we’ve ever had! we also ordered omakase box (8pc) which came with wagyu, otoro, uni, salmon belly and other selections. the portions were so generous and the fish was extremely fresh!”
“Food was good.,cozy atmosphere”
