“If this is not the best banh mi in all of Sgv and Oc, I don’t know of any place that can beat them. All cash by the way so come prepared. Their dac biet is the perfect sandwich and their daikon and carrots are light and bouncy with fresh jalapeno with the right amount of pate and butter. They have it down to perfection, nothing less. Had an open house and served it for homebuyers and they were blown away! Highly recommend! Cafe sua da is gold too, loved the shaved ice in the coffee and not too sweet. The ladies in the back are super sweet and you can buy the baguettes and freeze them, then 350 f for 6 mins in toaster or airfryer. Get the egg rolls, and pa te so is good too. My clients loved their vegetarian banh mi too!

Vegetarian options: Just get he vegetarian banh mi! Only vegetarian thing to get or just plain baguettes! It will be worth it!“

“I visited Baking with Ish on the day I was getting ready to fly out of LAX. I had been getting instagram recommendations on my feed for a few months (even though I don’t live in CA), and I’m glad I decided to put this place on my list to check out before I left. I got the ube sesame bun and the cheese and ube pie and both of them were fantastic. I wish I lived closer so I could come back and try more items, to be honest everything on display looked unreal. “I attended a kids' birthday party and they had the most delicious cake ever. It was chocolate with a fresh strawberry center. The chocolate cake was so moist. The icing was light and delicate. This cake was talked about with everyone. We kept saying, "it's not too sweet," which is the best compliment you can say for a cake. I wasn't the one that purchased the cake but I definitely will now after this.“

Had to wait a few more minutes in the morning due to their bakery truck barely on time, but definitely worth the time just chilling at the table inside the store, that extra 10min felt like a breeze, though a few customers came in just to leave lol Great experience there and would definitely go again, even if have to wait again :D“

“Best donut shop in the area, hands down.
Donuts are super light and airy, they do not live you feeling super full and they are also not super sweet. Prices are also very reasonable.
We tried the breakfast sandwiches as well which and they were super delicious and filling. If you are hungry hungry I would recommend you get one.
The thai teas are nice too, I really liked the orange one.
Staff is also super friendly and will tell you about all their menu items as well as make recommendations.

“We needed a birthday cake on short notice, and thankfully, Patisserie Too had a 5” mango cake available. They also had a wide variety of personal size cakes in adorable animal themes (rabbit, dog, pig, penguin, and Hello Kitty). Our party really enjoyed the mango cake - it was the perfect sweetness level and full of flavor. Sweet enough to taste like a dessert but not overwhelmingly sugary. I was pleasantly surprised to find a slice of mango inside the cake. The mango texture was a fun contrast to its soft cake-y surroundings. The entire cake sat on top of a cookie base (shortbread cookie?), and the crunchiness of the cookie also enhanced the range of textures in this dessert!

The cakes were also well packaged. They taped down the personal size cakes we bought so that they wouldn’t slide around inside the box. This attention to detail and their friendly and helpful service overall made this a really pleasant shopping experience!“

“The mini conchas are my favourite, I don't like conchas unless they're from this bakery. The polvorones, cinnamon raisin rolls, pink jelly coconut roll, and the mini cookies with sprinkles are my favourites here. The prices have been raised for the filled breads but it's better compared to other places. The place looks like it's kept clean and well maintained. The only bad thing about coming here are the homeless people asking for money all the time. + There's very limited parking sometimes it'll be empty and the next second it'll be full. The staff are super friendly and fast.“

“Very cute little local dessert place. All the desserts are made fresh. My girlfriend and I were just looking for a sweet treat and found this place. We got a crème brule, a carrot cake, a macaroon and two iced teas. The iced teas are made fresh and then put over ice. They were very good. My gf got a passion fruit one and I got got mint. We would definitely come again. And the workers I think are the owners but they were super nice and even asked us to try the teas before we left to make sure we were happy with them. Would definitely come back“

“We’ve been getting cakes at this place for around 4-6 years I believe. The cakes have always been moist, soft, and extremely delicious/flavorful. A birthday cake we got of chocolate w/ strawberry filling tasted amazing but a bit dry (that was the only time that happened). We love that the frostings aren’t so sugary to the point that it’s obnoxious. It’s just perfectly balanced. My favs are the fruit tarts & vanilla cake w/mixed fruit filling. We have tasted the vanilla w/ mango cake and it’s phenomenal!! We recently tried the cream and custard puffs & they were light and creamy, 10/10 recommend. We have bought cakes here for dinner gatherings with friends & they’ve enjoyed the cakes too, always asking where we buy them. It’s true that the bakery “appearance wise” would appreciate a nice upkeep since it looks a bit old fashioned/worn out but it’s always clean and organized so it doesn’t bother us. It’s honestly a gem hidden in Montebello :)

First time trying Japanese style cheesecake & Omgee it was amazing.
They had a tester one available and gosh it was amazing.
I ordered the original Japanese style cheesecake & Iced Brown Sugar latte with Salted cheese foam
(To be completely honest the latte isn’t anything unique or special.
Taste was blend for me.
BUT the cheese, very delicious.
I did have to wait an additional 10 mins or so for the cheesecake because it wasn’t ready & the logo machine wasn’t ready for a press so my Cheesecake has no logo / design.
I was offered a discount due to the inconvenience but didn’t receive it (lol)

The packaging is just beautiful, great quality🤍

Overall I will be coming back for the other cheesecake flavors.

“I placed a last-minute order on sunday 5/4 for monday 5/5 and tuesday 5/6 full sheet cakes. And they were very accommodating. Not only that, but the cake was delicious!! Today’s pilgrimage finds me in Sierra Madre at Syndicate, a fantastic find nestled comfortably downtown on Sierra Madre Blvd. Plenty of street parking and a beautiful place to take a stroll if you don’t score a spot immediately out front. The vibe is instantly welcoming, decor is colorfully minimalist, that’s probably not a thing, but it’s the best descriptor I have. The baristas are friendly, skilled and true devotees to all things coffee, even willing to share some potential sites to visit on the next LAtte stop. The coffee itself is excellent, rich, flavorful and no hint of bitterness. I went with oat milk this time and it paired perfectly with the blend, rich creamy, delicious! I can wholeheartedly recommend a visit should you find yourself in the area, or even if your not- expand your horizons and make it a destination, it’s worth it.“

“I accidentally found a bakery and bought some bread. Some of the bread was delicious, but some of the bread was a bit dry. But I might buy it again. I want to try all of them and I should find the one I like best. There are also some drinks for sale inside, but they are paid separately. Maybe they are just partners sharing some expenses. “It was my first time here, and this place was pretty busy. A lot of people were picking up cakes and buying cakes like the mango cake that was freshly made.
It's not too big on the inside, and there was only one lady who was helping everyone. They had a special going on, but 5 get one free.
I purchased a bunch of snacks for me and the family. One of my favorites is the pineapple cookie, which has actual pineapple on the inside. They had sponge cakes and peanut/ sesame candy. They also had bbq bun, which is always a go-to. They also had a mochi walnut cake that was delicious.“

“Lots of seating, great atmosphere, everyone was nice and the water station they have set up is much appreciated. The portions are just right, so you won't leave hungry. Love the coffee options. Very family friendly. We had a party of 10 and they did a fabulous job putting out the food, great staff. Unfortunately, the parking situation is bad. We drove around for about 25 minutes to find a place to park. Absolutely worth it though!
