I'm thankfull I got to meet that lady during my short trip in LA. Such a breath of fresh air and a lovely experience.
She is patient and welcoming and the food is great ! I mean, just enter the shop and you'll know you'll be eating good tonight.
The portions are huge for the price too. We did 1 serving for both me and my sister, it was perfect. ▶️ 15$ ! That's it !

“Honestly the food is delicious they need a couple more selections but it was a friendly environment that got busy for diner. I’d def come back and try the kung poa when it seems hot and fresh, you can tell the food was sitting for a bit but thankfully we got fresh orange chicken and teriyaki the white rice was ok so were the noodles and fried rice not so greasy ! Other than that this place is not to bad.“

“The owner is a very friendly and talkative woman. The menu is extensive. This is my second time buying food here. The first time, they gave me an XL size portion, which was so large I couldn't finish it. The food was very satisfying and reasonably priced. The shop is right next to a supermarket, making it easy to find.“

“I've been enjoying Happy Family for years. I'm always well taken care of. Plates i frequently have are shrimp rolls, soup dumplings, house fried rice, house chow mein, three delights, kung pao chicken, mongolian beef, honey walnut shrimp, egg flower soup and hot & sour soup. Sometimes i do have to ask for a waiter for a refill or more steamed rice but i'm used to it. The staff are great people omce you get to know them. They all deserve good tips especially with the affordable cost of their large portions.“
