“GREAT food!!!! They're fairly new, so I hope they don't compromise on flavor later down the line. First, I had their small chicken katsu box. The second time, I had their new sweet chili shrimp katsu, and that was even better!!!!! Employees are always so friendly and for the quality of the food the price and turnaround time is worth it. “The two protein plate was very generous for the price.
The lady was very nice and patient with us as we decided. The assistant, Erika, was also very nice, she checked on us a couple of times.
The food is put out in small quantities on the chaging dishes (to make the combos) so it isn't sitting there long. It seems like the Ramen and other items are made to order.

The kimchi was not my favorite, I like it more spicy and with more garlic, more fermented. But maybe this was a new batch.

It was somewhat quiet on a weekday at noon, but lots of peiple.picking up orders.

“I just want to say that not only the food is good here, but also their customer service. There was only one gentleman working today. He was the cashier and the cook. He had so many customers, yet as busy as he was, he was efficient, friendly, and acknowledged each person as they walked in. This guy needs a raise for all his hard work. Thank you“

“I have been coming here since the lovely family that ran this place retired. Though I was sad to see them go, I am glad to see the new owners running the place flawlessly like before. The quality of the food for the prices listed is unmatched. Great to see their menu expanded, and if you have not tried it , get the shrimp fried rice! So good!“

“Wow. Came for takeout, got one of the best, crispiest pork katsus Ive ever had!! Brought a person who grew up in Korea and is pretty picky, and they also agree!! Totally unexpected for just a quick bite we wanted late at night! My pictures don't do it justice because we got takeout but hopefully you can tell how light and crispy it is. Not greasy, the inside is almost creamy not dry at all, perfectly seasoned breading, such that even if you didn't eat it with sauce it would still be delicious!! The Korean style katsu sauce was a great pairing though!! We also got odeng an ddeokkbokkk which were quite good! But we really want to try the kimbap next time because they looked so scrumptious in the photos and they were just like the ones they sell in Korea and have an ideal filling to rice ratio 🤤 as they are supposed to! They were sold out by the time it was late night though, so we will have to come earlier next time! Additional bonus: the place was quite clean despite being a couple years old and run by a
very small team it seems! A very cute simple hangout spot I'd love to bring a few friends at any time and the man at the counter was so kind and nice. Highly recommend, if you can't tell already!! :). The little flower lights and blue and white theme was so cute. I definitely want to dine in next time too!“

“Amazing food. Plate licking sauces, organic,locally sourced food. Korean fusion. Did I mention organic pickled everything. Enzyme rich food. Beyond healthy. Humble little hope in the wall run by a husband and wife team. Dude went to Korea to study with the most famous vegan nun chef in Korea. A must go to for anyone who loves food and especially loves fusion with organic and very well priced. He should charge Much more but they don’t.“

“Located in the Blossom Food Hall, this was the former Workaholic that made Korean fusion dumplings.

I'd recommend their Manduyu Special since their Rice 2 Meet You is pretty good, but consists of mostly meat and a lot of rice (great portions!) Their Mandu is definitely the best that they would have.

The food is wonderful and perfectly made with high quality ingredients and tasting delicious. They have 5 side dishes which are all amazing. The staff are friendly and the food court is very clean.“

“This place has good Korean food. It's a good place to bring your family or friends. Your mother or grandmother will not complain about the food. They give large portions and the side dishes are really good. Services quick and very friendly. “My husband comes here on his lunch breaks and I finally got to try it the other day! Omgoodness ♥️ first off the ladies running this are so nice and have Ah-mazing cooking skills! We ordered 2 teriyaki chicken bowls ( for a decent price ❤️) and the chicken was SO tender and delicious! The teriyaki sauce is bomb 💣 and rice was delicious!!! It was so good I craved more fir days after!!! “Loved it here! Easy to make a reservation over the phone. Staff was very attentive, helpful, and kind. I was able to enjoy their premium AYCE meats for free because of their monthly giveaways. My review comes from honesty, not for the sake of it being free. I really liked the brisket and the marinated bulgogi. The brisket was soft, the bulgogi had a great flavor. Side dishes were nice, I especially enjoyed the cucumbers and the fish cakes. I honestly could eat a whole bowl of just the fish cakes. The kimchi was crunchy and flavorful. The spicy pork bibimbap was good, had a generous serving of pork, and is a big enough portion to share between two people. I appreciated the casual atmosphere, there was music, but it was playing softly enough that I didn't have to shout to be heard around our table. Whoever made the playlist has good music taste. Everything I’ve tried on the menu has been delicious, and the portions are generous.
The servers are generally friendly, although the place tends to get very crowded.

“Although the food menu is not extensive, the restaurant is famous for its delicious food. Korean hangover soup is probably the best in the OC area. It may be a very simple food, but it has a rich taste and a good feel. In Korea, having soup and a glass of soju with friends is a small culture.“

We knew the food would be good, but it totally shocked us how amazing it was. Everything was full of flavor, and just hit the spot. We literally devoured it in minutes. So good!

“I was craving Korean bbq but bowl style and this spot was nearby.

I ordered their marinated short rib bowl and I added extra proteins of spam, an egg and chicken with no rice, all salad. It was a phenomenal lunch overall. The flavor was definitely there. It was definitely pricey after I added all the extras, but still worth it.

The young radish kimchi and soybean paste stew that are served as side dishes and complimentary throughout the year bring me here.Personally, I find various items on their menu tasty, including kalguksu (knife-cut noodles), grilled hairtail fish, and braised hairtail fish. Today, I enjoyed the pork bossam, and I would rate it three stars. It was rich and satisfying.One thing that disappointed me was that the jjanchi guksu (banquet noodles) I ordered for takeout two weeks ago, which I thought was on the menu, turned out to be a different dish. It was more like somyeon (thin wheat noodles) in kalguksu broth, not what I expected. It started with my misunderstanding, and I appreciate them trying to accommodate my request, but I was completely disappointed as it was a different dish. In my opinion, it would be better if they informed customers that what they requested isn't on the menu.This has been my favorite kalguksu place for a long time. Despite the name changing several times over 23 years, a five-star rating is more than enough.

We ordered the spicy braised short ribs, seafood onion pancake and beef soup. The spicy braised short ribs is so flavorful, it comes with radish and rice cake. The beef soup reminds you in Korea, no MSG! And the seafood onion pancake is huge, good to share. Their banchan also changes everyday!

The service is friendly and many old diners and family in the restaurant- that’s how you know it’s a legit place! There’s dinner rush so come early

“My second time visiting this location! The first time was just OK. I had seafood tofu, which was delicious, but the shrimps were salty and squishy, which I'm not used to. My mom preferred our usual location for Korean tofu soup, but since this was close by, we tried it out. I thought it was fantastic for someone who is hungry.

As for the second time, the food was delicious. I ordered kimchi tofu soup with mild spicy flavor. The banchan/side dishes were plentiful, and the salad helped to cut the spicy flavor. If you're sick and don't have the energy to cook, Korean tofu soup is the answer!“

Regarding the poor customer service comments from other patrons, I can imagine this is due to the level of English that the owner and staff speaks. In fact, all I heard while dining is just Korean (including all other patrons). My daughter loved the second dish- the bibimbap, it was also really good. The third dish was the spicy pork. I thought all three dishes were delicious.

“Come on Now! I hurt my mouth so the only thing I can eat was porridge. But where can I find porridge? I found it here after googling porridge… And it was fantastic. Not “the best” in terms of the fancy restaurant style of rice porridge (juk) but definitely more homey vibes version. Like how your mom or granny would make it.

The banchan (side dishes) were really fresh and a lot of variety. I’m going to try more menu items once my mouth heals.

This place has great comfort foods and classic korean foods most other places don’t have! More authentic. Not your basic trendy Korean spot.

Also, the lady who runs the register and serves is so kind. She is like the best Korean auntie. Just a kind soul.

“The food is plentiful, comes out quickly, and the taste is average.
But I think it’s only open in the afternoon.

The free popcorn was so soggy that I couldn't eat it, the tofu kimchi was too salty and sour, and the seasoned whelk seemed to have been under-mixed to the point where the sugar was chewy.
Still, it was plentiful because there were a lot of sea bream and dried dried pollack.
Altang is okay.“
