“I came here with a friend right after watching a movie in the nearby theater. The churros are otherworldly. Neither in Venezuela, nor in Spain would you find better churros (I'd know, I've been to both countries). The prices are incredibly reasonable too. The side toppings are varied, caramel and sweetened condensed milk are the two that stood out to me the most but you can also go for Nutella, amongst others. 10/10“

“Stopped by this ice cream shop on a beautiful saturday evening. Had a cool old school vibe to it with a jukebox. We sampled various flavors (hibiscus sorbet, pistachio, mint chip, chocolate, coconut). I went with the coconut on a cone. It was good! I would definitely come back and try other flavors.“

“We come here weekly for ice cream and coffee on weekends. Ice cream is delicious! Very flavorful but not overly sweet. My favorite flavor is the Stracciatella or cookie butter, but they are all good. Seasonal eggnog ice cream is our favorite. Coffee is absolute perfection. Cortado and Latte are especially good. Handcrafted drinks, made with love. The owner is super nice, always takes time to talk to my son and I. This place is a gem, and it is run by genuinely kind and good people. The outdoor seating is also a prefect way to relax with your yummy ice cream or perfectly frothed coffee.“

The soft serve has a perfect texture (I tried the Pure Milk flavor with a Taiyaki on top, the Taiyaki being filled with Nutella), the service is quick and efficient, and the store was crowded when my two friends and I went on a Saturday evening. The ambiance is great too, there are so many pictures showing what the options are like, and there are clearly-illustrated menus spread throughout the restaurant. The toppings are available for the customers to grab and add to their ice cream as they wish, and everything, from the Oreo crumbs to the Banana chips are great. The flavor selection is amazing. Even though I usually keep it simple with cookies and cream, I have a hard time resisting the mamey and nuez every single time. Their ice creams are packed with ingredients. Cookies and cream is loaded with actual cookies and the nuez has that perfect nutty richness in every bite.

The staff and owner are always attentive, friendly, and genuinely pleasant. This place is a true Los Angeles institution. It still surprises me how many people do not know about this gem. If you have never been, do yourself a favor and check it out. You will see why it has been around for decades.“

“If I'm feeling I'll drop by for a cone and that it. Order outside through the window. They have seats but outside on the side. Is a regular ice cream shop they do offer other food items but haven't tried that yet. Fairly priced, although the ice cream is not fully dairy it seems. Because it melts really quickly and it tastes more water based than anything. Aside from that, the taste is there.

Parking: They do have parking in the back. There's also plenty on the street not metered.“

“Went here on a whim on a Saturday evening after going to Gold Line. There was a line but it moved pretty quick. Enough time to look at the vast ice cream menu.

I sampled a Texas Sheet Cake and got a Miso Butterscotch Brownie. Both were delicious!

Overall, highly recommend coming here. Delicious ice cream set in a historical building. Service was nice too.“
