“Glad to discover another nice Taiwanese restaurant around LA. Very hospital staff. The beef noodle soup is certainly their specialty - unique thick al dente noodles, very tender tendons (chunks of beef not so much), interesting broth with herbal accents. Impressed by their shrimp & pork dumplings - the pork portion was probably fulfilled by the filing of XLB on the menu, which made the dumplings very pleasantly juicy; just wished the wrapper were thinner. In all, don’t expect anything extraordinary, but great value and certainly above peers.“

“Great spot for HK breakfast! The beef congee was perfection. Noodle soup and toast were great too. Classic menu and family local vibe. Everything came out fast. The server didn’t really speak English (and I don’t really speak Chinese) but it was totally fine just made sure to point at specifically what I wanted. Milk tea was not too sweet!!“

“The fried dough is fresh and crispy, and the meat bun is delicious with a great price. They also serve lamb shumai, which is tasty and pairs well with chili oil. The savory beancurd soup was fantastic. The soy milk was just okay, and the jianbing was decent, though my friend said it has an authentic Tianjin flavor. Street parking was easy. There was a line at 11 a.m. on Saturdays when we left.“

“Wow one of the strongest standing Hong Kong western restaurants in SGV! I have been to this restaurant a few times as a child and it's still going despite Great Recession and COVID pandemic! Last time I came, it brought back a lot of childhood memories and the food was still amazing! Will come back in the future!“

“The taste is good and the service is okay. It's just that the boiled pig's blood and fatty intestines I ordered were packed, but when I got home, they were boiled fish and fatty intestines. When I packed it, I saw them flipping it back and forth with their chopsticks. I guess they knew they made a mistake, but didn't tell me. I'm too lazy to go back and change it. I hope I'll be more serious next time“

“I remember coming here a few times before CV with friends and family. The dim sum was really good. However, today I ordered to go and they didn't even offer any utensils or sauces. It looks like they remodeled the place. The ambiance is great, very fancy and clean with a huge chandelier. Dim sum was cold. Egg tarts don't taste that great compared to other bakeries in SGV.“

“This is a family owned small restaurant. Don’t be fooled by their business name: “bread food”. They don’t bake any bread. They serve house made noodles, dumplings, and a variety of meat filled streamed buns. They also sell frozen dumplings and plain buns (mantau).
They close at 8pm, be there before 7:15 pm or the chef will come out and show his attitude. The young waitress is polite.
The house made noodles are fresh and dente. Very food. The dumplings come with dip sauce made out with fresh ground garlic, very spicy. Will return and try other items.“

“Went here for take out lunch boxes, food is good considering the price, and there’s a verity of items to pick from. It’s like a mini version of KangKang XiaoMei that was closed a while back. Only thing is that the server lady is usually at the back preparing/cooking, so you might not be attended to right away, sometimes might need to wait a little.“

“It's easily the best Banh Mi joint in all of SoCal. This place tops them all. The attention to detail is superb. They come individually packaged in a box, sauce, and veggies on the side to keep the sandwich crisp. Bread made in house, probably, based on the way the bread has irregular edges and the overall quality. Bread is soft and light in the middle and extra crispy on the outside. The best sandwich here is the Roasted Pork. Listen, there's the usual dry roasted pork you get from those roasted duck houses, and then there's this. All you foodies know what im talking about. This roast is simply done right. It's crispy and light skin around soft juicy meat and fat. No hard glass shards breaking off a over done wet roasted pork belly here. It's roasted to perfection. You know it's cooked at a perfect 165 to retain the juices. The chef really really knows what he/she is doing. Don't expect all meat and no fat. It's not a bourgeois place. And dont expect a 12 dollar rip off. It's not that either. It's a wholesome mom and pop join that service fair priced $7.50 specialty sandwiches that you can't even compare to quality in Vietnam's best joint. Come here with confidence, it's simply the best Banh Mi in all of Southern California. I'm willing to bet the best for its price in all of the US and Vietnam combined. Go try it and you will definitely agree. I challenge anyone to prove me wrong.“

“Best sushi in LA! Everything melted in your mouth! The fish is fresh, the price is affordable, and the service is great! It looks like a hole in the wall - but wow :)) We eat there once a week and love it! Drove all the way from Studio City to have dinner there - 2 hours each way in traffic - so that's obviously what it says :)) Haha Just love it!“

“✅ Skewers of all kinds
❌ Other cooked food / seafood
Great place to visit for skewers ❤️ you don't have to worry about turning the skewers as the machine was set to do the turning for you.
The restaurant was super warm, coming in for this in summer is really not a favourable option. Steamed egg in cups were given as complimentary.
Vegeggies were relatively more expensive than meat options, wish that they could do more choices.
Rmb to check with the waitors about the numbers of food per skewer before ordering.
Thanks to those who had food in this place before, I managed to skip some of the less good-value food option.“

“Came for dinner. The service was top notch. The restaurant is cute, inviting, and well lit. There’s ample parking and entrance from the parking lot as well as from the main st. We asked for medium heat and it could’ve been spicier. We were just cautious. All dishes were delicious. Loved the bowl size soup. More than enough for 2 to share. They gave us a rice pudding to close off our meal- delicious.“

“Update: closed 143pm 3/26/25
Choice of thin or thick noodles, u gotta tell them. Interior is decent. Tables and seats are cool. Parking n the back.
U gotta pay and giv order at register first then they give u a number and then just sit anywhere. Be sure to tip then too or leave 11% gratuity or both. Or bring cash to leave on table before u leave after u eat. Theyre not servers but they do bring your food out for u.
Seating is limited. If its busy u gotta wait until seats r available! Give the employee a chance to clean before you get in the way & sit down.
I didnt like the seasoning on the edamame bc of the salt size and its lemon citrus-y yuzu sauce. Not my prefernce, wouldnt get it again or jus order without the sauce.
The spicy topping is nice and spicy, im getting 2 or 3 next time. I can taste the quality in this food! Its good. The music they were playing was cool. They were working really hard.
The vegan broth was really thick like a cashew alfredo which usually isnt my preference for ramen but it was good. Check website for menu. Help urself to water & such. Def would go back. Cashless & over a dozen locations. I added seaweed egg spicy sauce garlic. They also need to kno if u want a whole egg or half.“

“honestly, a pretty sold place if you want some good family style cafe food. this location doesn't have all the individualized food - more shared.
they do have dimsum options as well but the pricing for them are a bit high in my opinion and are okay
we ordered the salty egg custard bun - which was one of my personal favorite bc you can't get it elsewhere but after one i was kinda sick of it b/c it was a real specific flavor
the XLB were not the greatest and kin of small of an amount for the price
the crispy noodle w/ bbq pork was delicious, would get again.
i'd come back for lunch - and they have refillable HK milk tea, lemon tea, etc. (not soda tho, it comes in a can)
they have shared parking with the plaza, and easy to find parking, the seating is shared if you have less than a group of people, we ended up sharing with another party of 2 bc we had only 2 in our party (was slightly awkward lol)“

“Good Korean food but a little pricier than other Korean restaurants. We shared three plates. We started with the mushroom tofu mild, this dish was my favorite. My daughter loved the second dish- the bibimbap, it was also really good. The third dish was the spicy pork. I thought all three dishes were delicious.
The service was ok, the staff could have been a little more attentive.
I would come for the convenience in location and the delicious food.“

“Authentic Chaozhou noodles: rice noodles and egg noodles. Two main different ingredients and completely different textures.
1. Egg noodle:
chewy, tastes like a beautiful independent woman’s workday morning: refreshing and high energy.
2. Thick rice noodle:
Rich rice flavor that southerners grow up with. A flavor that running in their blood since they were born. Tastes like home and mommy.
The meat they put on my wonton noodle soup omg it’s sooooo good so flavorful so perfectly tender and chewy. I don’t know what it is maybe cha Shao?
3. Service & Atmosphere:
- You not here for birthday party so.
- If you speaking local dialect you will be treated like homie is really not because they are racism to anyone else is just because aunties work here only speak dialect and some English. So English should be fine flenz. (another way telling you how niche and authentic this place is)
Chaozhou food culture:
Chaozhou noodles focus on light, natural flavors. Dishes like Chaozhou vermicelli and egg noodle have a unique texture and are usually paired with fresh ingredients. The broth is often a mild bone or seafood-based soup.
I eat half of it with some white pepper, to just taste the broth the slight sweet flavor (without any of those diabetic sugar in those commonly seen Americanized Asian soup. my Asian taste buds are really not made for American’s sweet-everything-food industry okay? I hate it. Let’s be honest if one day an Asian immigrants like me become the president of United States the first law I’ll sign is put those shameless capitalist who kept adding sugar in everything in to jail.
So many things literally shouldn’t be sweet by adding sugar!!!“

“Spicy beef noodle soup broth was really good!! Our kinda new favorite Chinese Restaurant (Hunan cuisine) in the MPK area. All the dishes were decent and super flavorful but not overly in any wrong way. Quality flavor.
Cauliflower dish, and the Intestine tofu dish are spicy! For those who like spicy (medium spicy lovers), it's good. But for mild to medium spicy eaters, it was barely doable but with tears and sinus changes. They said to ask them for light mild spicy (translate as small spicy) because maybe the app doesn't allow that choice? Note to self to order small flame/mild spicy next time for my sake.
Spicy beef noodle soup wasn't too spicy. Super great broth! Loved it!! Didn't feel too salty. It was packed with flavor. I would recommend this for anyone craving noodle soup. If you take this to go and leave it overnight, remember to separate the noodles and soup, or else the noodles will soak up all the soup...and leave you soupless haha Its a rare occasion we order beef night soup or carb items but was craving a Chinese noodle soup dish.
Pumpkin Pie dessert was like an air puff with thin flat mochi in the middle. They said no dairy is used but not not too certain if I trust that too much.
Looking forward to coming back and trying more dishes!!“

“It's hard to find vegetarian/vegan Chinese food options, so this place has become a staple for me. We usually get the deep fried sesame chicken, pineapple fried rice, and some type of vegetable. “This is truly a mom and pop local restaurant. It's been here for years that we never tried. To our surprise, the food was good. The handmade noodles & beef were delicious and good texture. The lamb skewers were seasoned well. The meat was cooked perfectly and good quality, not the odds and ends cut. The dumpling skin was a bit too thick/doughy to my taste. We will come back again for sure.“

“Visited Ten Seconds Yunnan Rice Noodle for the first time this weekend and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The restaurant is located in the plaza on the corner of Atlantic and Garvey, with plenty of parking.
The menu is simple and straight forward. You start by choosing the desired soup base (bone broth, tomato, hot & sour, spicy) and then the protein offered under your desired soup base. If you wish to order additional toppings; there is a list of add-on you can pick from. The restaurant gives you the option to order using the QR code taped on the table or with the staff member. Soon after placing the order, they bring out the toppings to the dish, which consists of your desired meat, lettuce, generous portion of rice noodles, tofu, ham, green onion, seaweed, wood ear mushroom, corn, egg, etc. Lastly the soup base is served and you add the add all the toppings to your soup.
I ordered the tomato soup with sliced brisket; love the strong tomato flavor in the broth. If you are a tomato lover, this is the soup base to order.
Will definitely be coming back to try the other soup bases.“
“It was my first time to come to LA, an area with a large concentration of Chinese people, and I chose this old restaurant. The environment inside the restaurant is clean and comfortable, and the service is very good. I can’t help but praise it. We ordered fried rice noodles, stir-fried beef with kale and green curry chicken with white rice, and ended the meal with a dessert.“

“I’m very picky with Japanese food as I grew up eating it. So, when I found this place (which is a mom-pop small restaurant), I felt right at home. Everything was so authentic! . The fish was fresh, the noodles were delicious, and the appetizers was great! I had the unagi, yellowtail, uni, amaebi, scallop, octopus, edamame, sukiyaki, zaru soba, and miso soup. To boot, customer service was phenomenal. Will definitely go back!
Vegetarian options: There are lots of vegetarian selections like salads, tofu, soups, etc.
Dietary restrictions: If asked, they will accommodate diet restrictions. For instance, my guests don’t like wasabi so I had all sushi ordered without wasabi for them.
Parking: Parking is behind the restaurant. There’s also street parking available. Parking is all free.“

“This charming hole-in-the-wall Vietnamese eatery is a true hidden gem. While the space may be modest, the flavors coming out of the kitchen are anything but. The menu is refreshingly simple, focusing on quality over quantity, and the prices are incredibly reasonable for the generous portions they serve. It’s the perfect spot for a quick, satisfying meal that doesn't break the bank.
The pho is a standout—rich, aromatic broth with layers of savory depth, paired with tender meat and perfectly cooked noodles. It’s the kind of dish that warms your soul and keeps you coming back. Their noodles are equally delightful, with just the right balance of chewiness and flavor. And don’t even get me started on the egg rolls! Whether you go for the light, fresh summer rolls or the golden, crispy fried egg rolls, each bite is a burst of authentic, well-balanced flavors.
The vibe of the place adds to its charm. It has an unpretentious, welcoming atmosphere that feels like a well-kept secret among locals. The cozy setting makes it an ideal spot for a casual lunch or a low-key dinner.
Honestly, I’m almost hesitant to share this review because I know it will only make the lunchtime lines longer—but this place is too good not to recommend! Whether you’re a Vietnamese food enthusiast or just looking for something hearty and delicious, this eatery is well worth a visit.“
