“Food quality of the most excellence paired with fair prices, quick orders, and the friendliest service...how can you go wrong? The food from Nepal, I recommend the Butter Chicken or Chicken Masala. Ezt naan Ive probably had too. It's a food truck that sits out back Exxon and Denny's.“
“The food was delicious. The naan was especially good, it was cooked perfectly. I recommend to try the chili garlic prawn appetizer, I finished everything that was on that plate. The onion kulcha we ordered is not pictured but was very good as well. If you like rice with a bit of lemon/lime, try the butter chicken biryani. The service was very good from two of the staff (a waitress/bartender and a main cook). We were close to closing time, however they still served us very well and made some of the dishes completely fresh. On top of that they were respectful of us preferring to sit inside and not near the hookah. It may look like a small restaurant from the outside, but it is very spacious. The framed art is cultural and not random, which I thought was a nice touch.“
“Came on an oddly slow Friday night. When I asked how the fish curry was cooked they brought the chef out to talk to me, don’t get that often at an Indian restaurant. He assured me the fish curry was one of their best dishes so we ordered it and malai kofta. Curry was great. Malai kofta was heavy on the tomato sauce, I’ve had it with more of a cream base that I liked better but this was still really good. Naan could use a little butter but overall a great meal. Also loved that the server didn’t hover over us while we left a tip - he deliberately dropped the credit card machine off and turned away while we completed the transaction!“
“I went here on my last night in Monterey and it did not disappoint. I had the paneer biryani and I am still thinking about it days later. It came with raita and I got the garlic naan too. I wish I’d been able to take the leftovers with me as it was a lot of food and so good.“
