“So many options, amazing service, kind staff, tons of parking, and it’s right next to an awesome grocery store and a new modern library and rec center? What’s not to love? The pancakes are also so chewy, I have never had something like it. I love it. The gravy for their country fried chicken is not heavy. I also love the aesthetic here. I grew up in San Francisco, and everything now feels super modern, but this spot really reminds me of my childhood. I also spent a lot of time nearby in Millbrae since my other parent lived there for a bit, so it feels extra nostalgic. I can’t believe I haven’t been here all my life and I am in my 20s! “This casual diner had really really good food! I got a steak and cheese omelette, and love that they have options of black beans (instead of potato) and crepe (instead of toast) as sides. I was trying to be healthy but the crepe was so so good with the buttered strawberry creme cheese. That alone makes me want to come back haha“

I would have liked to experience the breakfast/brunch but was finished by 12pm. So we had beef burger with mushrooms and bacon. It was YUMMY!“

“I've been staying and working in South San Francisco this week without a car. Have dined there for lunch 2 days in a row now, and both days I also brought back dinner to my hotel for the evening. Everything has been delicious with fresh ingredients. Really creative and elevated offerings for a quick service restaurant. The salmon was especially amazing! I had 2 really dismal experiences earlier in the week with Doordash and only wish I had tried Foundry & Lux sooner. I'll be back tomorrow before heading back home on Saturday 😀“

“I've been dining at this restaurant for club events for several years. Our club receives a varied menu: prime rib, Chicken Cordon Bleu, salmon or surf and turf. The price of our meals include wine, hors d'oeuvres, dessert and gratuity. That's pretty reasonable given today's expensive eateries. The staff is friendly, personable and professional. Food is prepared quickly and efficiently. I recommend this restaurant for small parties/groups. 😊“

The buffalo wings is not soggy and it’s cooked the way wings should be cooked.
Ask for extra buffalo sauce.

“Was it expensive? Yes. Is it worth it? Yes. Treat yourself to impeccable service and quality ingredients prepared excellently. We got a perfect table at 630 and had a great view of the sunset. The wine choices were fantastic, shout out to Fredericco. Our meals were all very good, try the black cod with a side of whipped potatoes and asparagus. The 3 lamb chops came out and one was slightly over cooked beyond medium rare so the chef personally delivered a freshly cooked replacement. Our server Jared was phenomenal.“

“Peter's Cafe is a very old and very nice place for breakfast. The atmosphere, food and service is very much like an IHOP. The service is always very efficient and friendly, and the ommlets are really good.

I was starving after a 6 hour flight without eating all day. I was so excited to see that they had a veggie burger on the menu. Even though I really wanted to get home, I stopped here after landing and grabbed it to go. It took 5 minutes for a veggie burger with fries and it was delicious.“

“A stellar neighborhood deli serving a wide variety of sandwiches with excellent breads and ingredients. Their current hours are a bit limited, especially for the kitchen/grill half of the menu, but hopefully those expand in the future.

The meatloaf sandwich was exceptional, but I do recommend choosing a softer crust bread than the sourdough roll, as biting through it tended to smush the meatloaf out the side. Not that the roll was in any way had - it was excellent - but just not a great pairing for the meatloaf.“

“Breaker’s is a great comfortable place to get a broad variety of “comfort food” at a reasonable price. Staff are very welcoming and attentive. Portions are definitely biased towards large. Our favorites are Crab Panini, Patty Melt, and Monte Christo. Definitely an affordable casual good quality restaurant close to picturesque scenery with numerous hiking trails.“

“My son took me here for lunch - we’d been meaning to try it. We were very pleased - amazing view with tiered tables so other guests aren’t blocking the view. The service was exceptional and the food was delicious and nicely presented. As a nice addition, there was a pianist playing while we dined which added to the ambience. “First time coming to this place. From the outside it looks like a creepy scene from Stranger Things. Inside felt like we jumped out of Doc Brown's DeLorean and right into 1989. The place had an old wood smell and it was really cold. There was 2 small groups there, a young group of 3 and an older group of 3. The waitress was an older Asian lady and she was extremely kind and sweet. The food wasnt bad considering everything else. The food was also priced well. We wanted to get pie but wasnt sure how long its been sitting there. Would definitely be a place to go if I ever wanna do a Mob style meet up lol. But seriously, over it was cool.“
